Christmas Laps

December 31, 1997

• Couldn't resist spilling more GOSSIP before the year end. This time, Sunset Strip goes dry and Saxbeat gets a little Lacy.

• If you like plush nude clubs, read my new review of 4 Play in West LA. This club should give the Men's Club a run for it's money.

• The real Media news came up with some juicy stuff this month. Read about Orange County considering laps to be prostitution. Customers, dancers and managers were busted at Flamingo and Sahara. The dancers were charged with prostitution for lap dancing and customers were fined and made to take AIDS tests. I hope they win their appeals or LA/OC will become like San Diego.

• For all those waiting half a year for my to update my Ask Z section, you get your belated Christmas wish. For some reason, everybody seems to be looking for a job. There are questions about where to waitress, be a floater and how to get into porno. One reader gets to the point and asks which OC clubs have the brightest lights with the smallest stage for close up action. Finally, some strange questions about Bianca Trump, Dancer of the Month, going out with dancers, "Can you get addicted to strip clubs?" and dwarf dancers.

December 20, 1997

• There was so much hot gossip, I decided to update this section again this month. The GOSSIP section is just full of it. Read about the new West LA club 4 Play, Stars Planet, Tropical Lei, a new club called Hustler (yes, you heard me), Crazy Girls, Venus Faire and Lacy Street Cabaret.

• I haven't been very impressed with features these days, so it's been a while since I've reviewed one. Wait no longer and read the new review of Jenna Jameson at Scamps.

December 8, 1997

• Many readers have sent me great reviews of strip clubs outside the LA area. I must apologize to them for having to wait the whole year to see them. The wait is over. Checkout the juicy Reader Reviews of clubs in Charleston, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Cabo San Lucas, San Diego, Chicago, Myrtle Beach, and really big reviews for New York and Memphis.

• More dancer recommendations in the Reader's Review section. This time, they are for TJ's, Tropical Lei, Spearmint Rhino (Industry), Bob's, Lacy Street Cabaret, Century, California Girls, Nicolas and Exotica.

• Get a little chuckle when you read the The 1997 Fritz Awards categories in my Rants section. The first one on this list is: "Dancer Most Likely to get Fired." Talk about a dubious award.

• Another great song is added to my Music Review song section. If you like jazzy sounding techo, you'll like this one.

• Finally got around to updating my review of Crazy Horse 2 and adding a new review of the Glitter Gulch, both in Las Vegas.

December 1, 1997

• Because I didn't have a November update, I was very constipated in my GOSSIP section. Read all the juicy gossip on Bob's with alcohol, Scamps trays, Lacy and Veil closings, California Girls and Rhino for sale, new clubs in Huntington Beach and West Los Angeles, Industrial, Body Shop, Tropicana and Bare. Talk about GOSSIP city!

• Club review updates for Scamps (loses thumb), Beverly Club (loses thumb), Mr. J's (loses thumb), Bob's Classy Lady, Fritz, That's Too, Jet Strip and Ecstasy. I revisited TJ's but nothing has changed except everything is getting older.

• The Top 5 fave club list gets shuffled around again because my predictions didn't come true. They are replaced by tried and true oldies that have been on my list before.

• Serenity features at Rhino and gets a new website, Exotica moves and Miss Kitty gets a facelife. Read all about it in my Headlines.

• A new unopened club in West Los Angeles has been entered into the New Sightings section.

• Expect to see another update soon (this month) because I am behind and I want to catch up.

Halloween Laps

October 23, 1997

• Mo' GOSSIP city! Gossip on Club Flesh, Nicolas, Lacy Street Cabaret, Club Legs, Fritz 2, Bob's, and Scamps. Real juicy stuff this month.

• Miz Hunter is getting in on the action again. She gets into shoes, lazy euros, and the most important question of all about money.

• Finally an update for new website links in the Spotlight area as well as Resources. New resource links include ASCAP, and review sites for Dallas, Anchorage and San Francisco.

• Read the recommendations in the Reader's Review section. This time, they are from Deja Vu, Fantasy Island, Rhino, Fritz, Bare, Bob's, Beverly Club and Hawaii Theatre.

• This month, I got some really interesting Z Mail from a dancer at the Tropicana (who has been dancing since she was 9), a Magician looking for work at strip clubs in LA, and a dancer gets mad at another Z Bone reader. It's war on the Internet!

Fall Laps Cometh

September 29, 1997

• Mo' GOSSIP! Plenty of gossip this time on Fritz Too, Club Flesh, Flamingo, Elle, Bare, Jet and Thirsty's. It's GOSSIP city, baby!

• My Top 5 fave club list gets shuffled around a bit because of all the new clubs opening. More new predictions of what's to come and some oldies but goodies are there too.

• Checkout all the new items in my FAQ section including no smoking clubs, where to see male dancers, how to become a DJ, who to call to book features, and many other useful information.

• Finally a new section that reviews songs for dancers called Music Reviews. This section even includes a sample clip of the reviewed song. Be sure to tell your fave dancer to check out these songs. I will be adding new songs periodically to this section.

• More dancers are touted in the Reader's Review section. This time, they are from Bare, TL, Body Shop, Star Gardens, The Gentlemen's Club, 20/20, Candy Cat, Deja Vu, Flamingo and Jet Strip.

September 24, 1997

• Deja Vu opens a club in Beverly Hills. The Beverly Club is reviewed and is the club to watch. In Orange County, Scamps is now the club to watch.

• A Federal Judge reverses Simi Valleys resistance to letting strip clubs open in that area. Read all about it in my Headlines.

• Tropical Lei and Scamps get new websites. Checkout all the LA/OC websites in my Links section.

Hot Summer Dances

August 28, 1997

Independence Lap

• Bare Elegance gets some good News that's good for all of us.

• Now, I finally decided to document the different types of butts, I mean, bikini bottoms that are being displayed at these clubs. This is a public service for the purposes of creating consistent terminologies to use. You can access this important information thru the FAQ or click here to go straight there.

• For the first time, I have 2 dancers for my Dancer of the Month for February. Rayne and Pearl are too inseparable to be in different months. Not only do they have a web site and e-mail address, they have their own video, which I review in my new section.

New Years Laps

January 22, 1997

• If you missed ASSCon-LV2, you missed a great gathering of ASSCers. You snooze, you lose! Read my ASSCon Report for the details of the "meat" & greet itself. But for the gory details of the before and after, checkout my Diary. While I was in Vegas, I also had time to review Larry's Villa.

• All my adult video buddies have something new, so checkout Shane's fan club, Misty Rain's good news and Serenity's HOT news, e-mail address (!) and fan club.

• I finally get around to updating my Reader's Dancer Reviews section with e-mail from September (what!?) to December, all in one shot. I apologize for this long constipation. I realize that this is one of the sections that needs to be updated frequently and I will try to do so in the future.

• Look for New Links (including ones to Ginger and Lydia), mo' hot GOSSIP, a very serious question in my Q&Z's , spicy flame mail in Z-Mail Letters, I reveal Deja Vu's house rules in my Rants and Raves and updates to my FAQ.

• Now don't tell me that's not enough of an update! I'm going to sleep now. Wake me up for my next lap dance.

January 13, 1997

• The new year brings a move to a new URL for Z Bone. Thanks to One World Net for providing the server space. January finally brings Lydia as my dancer of the month. I've been trying to get her picture for months. She's my first dancer with a web site.

• Be sure to checkout reviews of Hawaii Theatre and Sahara Theatre 3, both in the City of Industry. Also the FAQ page has a few new items including info for women thinking about being a dancer.
