Over last week I was in Sacramento on a business trip, during the week I had the opportunity to visit the three nude strip clubs located in the area.

Risky Business Showgirls
Located in an industral park in Rancho Cordova (near Folsom and Sunrise) this club seems rather generic as strip clubs go. For a $ 5.00 cover, you enter into one large room with a bar on the back wall, stage #1 on the front wall, stage #2 along the left and couch and tables the right side. Drinks are $ 4.00 (you must keep a fresh drink at all times) The Dancers on this evening did one song an the main stage, redressed and did the next song on stage #2 while another dancer starts at Stage #1 and so on. This two song - two stage set seemed to cause alot guys to move from tip rail to tip rail to table as their favorite dancer made the rounds. I found this arrangement kind of distracting. None of the dancers really did much pole work nor did they work the crowd much. The lap dances are topless and run $15.00. After watching many of the laps around the room they appeared tame by Los Angeles standards. I partook of one dance from each of two ladies, these involved very little touching on their part. Not a lap that I could recommend.

Gold Club Centerfolds
Located in an industral complex (behind a Boat Dealer) on Folsom East of Sunrise in Ranclo Cordova. This club is is very similar to Risky Business, I think one dancer said the same owner. This is a step up in features with a full kitchen and a VIP room. The cover is also $ 5.00 with the drinks ranging from $ 3 to 6 This club features a main stage elevated with two poles and a lowered front platform and a second stage more of a runway layout. Here each dancer did two song set at each stage before moving to the other stage.. The dancers here worked with the guys at the tip rail taking tips out of the guys teeth using her mouth or clevage This got the crowd more involved and made for a more enjoyable evening. Each table had a menu which included the suggested prices for the couch and vip dances However the menus points out the the girls can charge what ever she wants since they are independent contractors. The prices included --Lap/couch dances topless $ 15 -- VIP Nude Cube Dances $25 -- VIP Nude Lazy-boy Chair Dances $ 25 -- and VIP Wing back Chair Topless $ 20-- The Lap/Couch dances contained more touching then at Risky Business, But what had me curious was the VIP Lazyboy Chair Dance. After asking a few of the ladies I found that the going price was $ 35 After settling on the right dancer ( Kelly ) she obtained a VIP pass and we headed off to the VIP Area. Guarded by a bouncer this curtained off area is blocked from the view of most of the club area. This room has a wall of small mirrored booths with low doors and chairs outside for the Nude Cube Dances and a wall of Wingback chairs for the VIP topless Dances. But it's unique feature is two Lazyboy recliners placed in cutouts of an elevated stage area. This stage has a hinged deck which is lifted for the customer to sit in the chair and recline, the deck in then lowered over the chest and lap of the person in the chair this forms a level stage in front and on all sides at around your neck level. On this stage the dancer does her nude dance. This is a truly unique experence ( Kelly said that this is the only club with this setup )

City Limits
This club is on Auburn Blvd. N/E of downtown. After the standard $5 cover, you enter into the one large room club. with one stage in front, one on the side and the bar in the back. Drinks are $ 4.00 here again must keep a fresh glass with you at all time. Just like at Risky Business each dancer does one song one stage #1 then over to Stage #2 for another before she returns for laps and chatting Chatting, That brings me to my favorite feature of City Limits, Maybe it was being away from home for the week, but it was enjoyable just to talk to the girls, don't get me wrong watching was also very enjoyable. I met one young lady ( Natalia ) who seemed content to sit and talk for quite awile. With a few lap dances tossed in from time to time I left City Limits feeling like I made a new friend. It is ashame that she is 400 miles away.

Read your updated [Glitter Gulch] review (and the one from another reader) and just wanted to share my experience.

I went last year during Comdex (I know, I know) and actually hooked up with a decent dancer named Julie. Very attractive brunette with a pretty face and a really nice figure. She was, in my opinion, the best looking dancer in the place. The actual dances were nothing to write home about, but we spent "quality time" talking about stuff and she ended up giving me her e-mail address (for whatever that was worth). I did get the impression the place was a hustle joint, and don't know what would have happened if I didn't meet Julie. I guess it went pretty well, all things considered, but I never did go back there. I was probably lucky.

I took your advise and travelled around abit during Comdex in the evenings. Went to OG [Olympic Gardens], Cheetah's, Tally Ho and Lil' Darlings.

IMHO OG was good as you said. However, I did not stay long as most of the girls were on the 25+ age bracket, and I am into the 19-25 range.

So went to Lil Darlings. Yes, much more my type, but air-dances/nude only- so left.

Cheetah's- WOW. lots of lookers here. tip out was only $35.00, no split so every dancer on the west coast must work there. Best variety I have ever seen ANYWHERE!. Loved it. Met Cherokee, 22, part indian, 5'9", 110 or so. Dances not the best ever, but had a very pleasant non-rushed evening. Had (5) dances in back area over a 2 hour exclusive period of time w/ her.

Shoulda listened to ya, but just had to see what Tally-ho was like. It sucked. Girls were not choice (3-6 range), a bunch of fat, old geezers were in there. Way too small. Had my first nude couch dance, after 7 years/hundreds of regular ones. but it was not that great.

Just got back from COMDEX last night, and on my trip i went to go check out CH2 [Crazy Horse 2]. Right as me and my friend walked in these two girls targeted us. I instanly thought they were hustlers, and was about to tell them that i wanted to chill for a little while, when i see my friend is already gone and about to get a lap dance.

Next time you go to CH2 go check out Secret. Secret's friend goes by Monica, and is a brunette and about 5'8" she seemed alright, but Secret is the way to go. Secret and Monica seemed best of friends so if you wanted to a little girl to girl action i think they's go that extra mile together.

I never usually only spend between $80 to $120 when i go to stip clubs, so spendind roughly $400 by the time we left was f*cking nuts for me. I just wanted to let you know i can still pay by bills though.

One last thing that pissed me off though, in the VIP room when the girls had left and the waitress arrived with our tab she says "$300 plus standard 10%." THAT'S $30! may not seem like much by itself, but after you've spent so much already $30 hurts!

Is that normal? They didn't even tell us beforehand! I probably could have said something, but i really didn't feel like dealing with that kind of sh*t.

Just a comment or 2 about San Francisco clubs: Mitchell Brothers. is STILL the place to go, even though it's pretty pricey. It's up to $35 prime-time entry! The girls are pushing the "Cabana" rooms; small booths with only about ankles down showing to the outside world. Expect about $80 on up. The girls are consistently gorgeous, even on the day shifts, though and are generally nice even if you don't do a Cabana.

Although pretty seedy and in an awful part of town, the Crazy Horse is generally my favorite club if you take into account price. My favorite is Paradise, a curvaceous Asian lady, and a genuine sweetheart.

The 20/20 people have really outdone themselves. I recently went to their new club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Probably one of the most beautiful clubs I have ever seen, Huge. Pool tables, satellite T.V.'s. Electronic darts, 3 stages, outstanding sound and lights, great food all night, reasonable drink prices, some of the most outstanding Latinas you can imagine and private $20 dances (in private closed booth) that defy description, no holds barred. I could live there. They even have a slide that takes you and your dancer from the top floor private dance area to the main floor where all the dancers are. This is like an amusement park for adults. Mostly gringos as patrons. The place is world class.

I just visited "Cheetah's" in Las Vegas...... One of the best clubs I've been to in a while..... Cheap drinks...... 3.75 for a domestic beer....... 5 for 16 bucks...... in a bucket..... Went there on a Thursday afternoon & a Sunday mid-day...... good looking women both days...... although better on Thursday...... 6-8's.

I used to be a regular at Crazy Horse 2 but found Cheetah's to be much better.... and cheaper.... If you get the right dancer you get a VERY good lap dance for 10 dollars without going in the VIP room... The VIP room is 20 bucks for a dance.... & not a whole lot different than the main room.... except they hustle you for drinks more.... Check out "Casey" & "Platinum"... .... you won't be disappointed.......

I noticed you had a little section for San Diego. It appears that you spent most of your time in the Midway/Sports Arena area when you were here. That's too bad. The best club in San Diego is Cheetah's on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Due to San Diego's stupid strip club laws it is still not worth a trip by itself but if you are down here looking to go to strip clubs anyway, this is the one. Assuming you pick the right girl you'll probably get the most possible in San Diego. My personal favorite there is Jade.

Due to the laws, I've been going to Tijuana more than S.D. strip clubs. It's harder to find good looking girls but the nasty factor higher than San Diego in all cases and higher than L.A. in most cases and even higher than Ecstasy/Mermaids in some cases.

I've also found a few girls down there that are every bit as good looking as the girls in San Diego/L.A. clubs. Unfortunately, they come and go and I never know when I'll be able to find them.

First, if you understand that the chances of getting a nasty lap dance in or near Chicago is like finding a needle in the haystack, and can live with just disrobed women, then the Admiral is a pretty good place.

There's a huge cover ($27 these days, which is a $20 cover and 2 non-alcoholic drinks for $7) and they run two "shows," a matinee that runs from 11 or noon to 7pm, and a evening show from 8pm to 2am or 4am (can't remeber offhand). Separate admission to the shows (kinda sucks if you get there around 5 or 6 in the afternoon and have to pay the steep cover again, even if it's a discount).

Pretty much full nude shows with a different feature every week. Discount coupons in the Sun Times (M/W/F now) which are good for 1/2 price cover for any matinee and Monday/Tuesday evening shows, and web site coupon (not sure if it was the same or just $5 off or something like that; www.admiralx.com). Table dances are $10 full nude which is the standard. Couch dances are $20, no privacy and not that much contact (although you do get closer and they stick their crotch inches from your face at times).

No real VIP room, a VIP section though but on a crowded night, it's there for anyone to sit. Lots of dancers, although the shift costs tend to be expensive ($85 last time I asked). The rules are layed out pretty straightforward, no touching the dancers, no proprositioning the dancers, they can't accept any notes/business cards/etc from you, some other ones I can't remember.

This used to be my regular club until this year. I knew alot of the ladies there. But new mangement has really cracked down on the contact, and all dance prices were raised. My regular girl was a dancer named Jasmine, (they called her the Jasmanian Devil because of a Taz tattoo on her ankle) Boy could she work it. $7 cover, although any of the girls will comp you for the next night if you're kind to her. Decent sized stage with two poles, a VIP room with three couches (carefully watched). Girls are topless. Table dances went from $5 to $10 and couch dances from $15 to $25. Very friendly girls. Best time to go is 5-8 or 9. At 9:00 30-35 girls come out for the nightly line-up and the place gets packed. Very popular place for the bachelor party crowd. They never pushed the drinks. Girls were all in the 5-7 range during the day and 7-9 at night. I still recommend this place to friends.

Very decent girls, 8's and 9's. But I didn't see any hot table dancing going on. There is a seperate room(s) for VIP dances ($30). I was there very briefly last year. Next trip I'm stopping by to sample the couch.

The Gentlemen's Club

Forget this place. Small room with a small stage, small elevated area with two overstuffed chairs overlooking the whole club for "private dances", too bright, girls are in the 2-4 range. The night we went, we tipped the waitress 'cause she was the best looking thing in there, we couldn't keep our eyes off her! It was also the only club that had a drink minimum.

I saved the best for last. This is a new club, a real dive as far as the club itself goes. No cover, kinda small, the stage can't be more than 10' by 10' with a single pole in the middle. Girls are generally in the 3-8 range, real big spread. This is a bikini club, but all of that is shed the moment you hit the back room for a couch dance. This was, by far, the best lap dancing to be had. I didn't see any table dances, laps are $20.

I hooked up with the hardest body I've seen on stage. She went by the name Jewel. Really erotic dancer, she favored Enigma for inspiration. As the days passed, and we got comfortable with each other, the dnaces just got hotter. By the last day of my visit, I was holding on for my life (and to her bottom) as she covered my clothes with her perfume. I also had a few laps with another girl who fed me whenever her chest got close to my face, ("Got milk?") At the end of one dance, she put the twenty in my mouth and we played tongue hockey through a whole song before leaving the back. Both girls were offering 2-for-1 and even 3-for-1 by the end of the week.

Onthe downside, some of the girls were fairly skanky and were in various levels of drink and drug-induced euphoria. Like I said, a really big spread.

There may be a couple of places I'm missing, but I'll find them. I really liked your Web site, I thought I was a little off-kilter fancying myself a strip-club afficionado, but I can see that there are others who find pleasure in the finer points of these clubs. first of all thanks for the page, next I live up near the city and rarely go to The O'Farrell Theater for fear if being recognized by some business associate, but a few weeks ago I had a few to many Martini's to drive home and I walked around the block to the Mitchell Bros.

It has changed in that they used to have a stage with a shower that is now an open floor with stand up, curtained booths for stand up dances. Basically it comes down to $40 for a topless touch anything type dance where the girl I had rubbed my nipples the whole time, pretty fun stuff and I think you can get more if you want. worth a trip up to the city.

Now then about San Diego: You're too right about the conservative nature of SD county but I have to think you've really missed out on one really good club (IMHO). Cheetahs has a club here that employs somewhere around 120-140 dancers now, perhaps half of them are actually very good looking and at least half of whom will be at least moderately nasty on the chair or couch. At its busiest times, e.g. Friday nights, perhaps 45-60 girls are on at once, lots of part-timers, I think.

Now for the good news: Table/chair dances are a whopping five bucks, couches are $10. No other club in the county even offers contact-providing dances, let alone for this price. Cheetahs, along with just about every other adult club in SD has had its share of busts (no pun intended), and accodingly levels of contact/nastiness vary propotionately with the amount of time since the last vice run-in. Sounds like LA?

OK, I read your review and knew [Glitter Gulch in Las Vegas] was bad, but I was staying downtown and there's no cover so...

Don't do it! Don't go there! Go to the cheap Beer Bar in the all-slots casino next door instead!

Rich's review was spot on, with this exception: I got the worst drink hustle ever! Now, I've been to a few clubs and I know the score when the waitress says, "Would you like to buy the lady a drink?" (see Bdrink in the Glossary on Z-Bone's site if you don't.) But, I usually go along. At the very least, the dancer will sit with you for a song while she sips her drink, right?

NOT AT THE GLITTER GULCH! After my $20 air dance, she grabbed the drink and walked off looking for the next sucker.

There's only one way to handle a place like this. Get up walk straight to the door, walk out and never come back.

And tell everyone you know never to go there.

THE CLUB
Platinum Plus is a very large club on Mt. Moriah in Memphis Tennessee. A very well decorated and well maintained place,(this place makes a lot of cash and they keep it in tip top shape) it boasts one main stage and three small sattelite stages, actually the sattelite stages are more like cages.

Cover charge is $2.00 before 4:00pm, and $5.00 after. They serve beer, which is $1.00 before $4:00, not a bad deal for a toppless club even if they are 8 ounce bottles. after 4:00 they break out the regular 12 ouncers and the price soars to $4.25 which, I guess is about the normal price in most clubs. This club was busted last summer and before that they had featured dancers on a weekly basis, girls like Torri Wells Ginger Lynn, the Barbie twins, Raquel Darrien & Christy Canyon to name a few. Since then, they have not had any, though the rumer is they will be back soon.

THE ATMOSPHERE
Lots of witresses, as I said this place is usually packed every night, they make the rounds often, but are not overly pushy to sell you a drink, and generally are very pleasant.

TGE FORMAT
During the day, one girl dances at a time, for one song each on the main stage, here is a point of intresr, as I said this is a toppless club, nut 90% of the girls ditch the g-strings.... at night they rotate, girl starts on the main stage, finishes, she goes to sattelite #1 and a new one hits the main stage and so on. Lots of Two for One dances all night.

THE GIRLS
Ah yes, the girls, on a scale of 1 to 10 the average is about a 7.5 with a few penthouse quality ones in there....don't come here if you are hung up on real breasts, 90% are manmade (and you can personaly verify this but I'll get to that later). there are a few naturals here nut not many. The girls are very much pushing for dances, both table, couch, and V.I.P couches. cost is $20.00 table, $30.00, and the grandaddy of them all, $40.00 V.I.P Couch dances. before you gasp at these prices please note that the girls will always give you a two for one if you ask, so actually you are paying $20.00 apiece for one hell of a dance!

THE V.I.P ROOM
Tucked away in the back of the club down a couple of steps is the very dimly lit V.I.P room, or Jungle room as some regulars call it, This is the place to be for a dance, trust me, fork over your $40.00 and get her to take you here, remember, the magic phrase is, "I want a V.I.P DANCE" You won't be dissapointed. these dances are about as high mileage as they get, giving her a breast exam is perfectly acceptable here, and some girls will go much further, using zbone's nasty meter here would most likely break it....we'll leave it at that. A NOTE: as I said this place was busted last summer, and for awhile went very tame, but it's now back up to full speed.
