• Summer from Pacers in San Diego sent me a FAQ for getting a license from the city with some good pointers for dancers who would like to dance in San Diego.

• Updated the FAQ section with: "Are there any clubs in the San Bernardino area?", "Do I need a license to be a dancer?", "How do I stop being a dancer's regular?", "How do you say "No" to a dancer asking for laps?", and "What kind of guys are dancers looking for?"

• Z Chat goes into BETA testing. Z Chat is a proprietary chat room just hat for Z Bone's readers. The code is still being debugged so report any problems to me using the bulletin board.

• The "New" Seventh Veil is unveiled with a new updated review. Is new and clean better? Read the review and see through the veil.

• More new LA strip club websites are added to my Links Section. This time it's the Men's Club and Linda Lee's Barracuda Club. Yes, you heard me.

• New questions are answered in my FAQ section. This time, the questions are about which dance contest to enter, late night clubs, bikini haircuts, porno star hangouts, male exotic dancers, high mileage lappers, what to wear for laps, lap orgasms, what's updated on website, "nasty" rating, and dancer of the month.

May 6, 1998

• Finally, my review of the nude club PlayPen in downtown Los Angeles is ready. Starting with this one, the reviews will include an interior floor layout diagram to help ease the misunderstanding in describing the layout. You know what they say about a picture being worth... well you know. However, keep in mind that the diagram is not to scale and some depictions (especially the stages) may not be very close to the real thing.

• GOSSIP! This month, Sunset Strip and Playpen gets busted, new club in Hollywood, Men's club sold and changes at the Sahara.

• After 4 months of constipation, I've finally updated the Z-Mail section with letters about the Ivar Theater, Mike Hernandez, positive effects of strip clubs, Bob's mileage, picking up dancers, "Dangerous Beauty", G-Strings and Houston clubs VS. LA.

• Sheila from Cheetah's in Hollywood is my Dancer of the Month for April. She is not your typical dancer. In fact, I think I am safe in saying that I've never met a dancer quite like her. Don't miss my longest interview with a DOM to date. Interesting reading.

• MEGA GOSSIP! This issue is full of it. No, this is not the April Fools issue, although some of the clubs wish it was. The Sahara dancers are found guilty of prostitution, more details on the Deja Vu bust, Hawaii Theater mileage waiting for a bust, Sahara 3 in Industry expands, Ecstasy busted AGAIN, Jet tip, Tropical Lei mileage adjustment, Rhino feature busted, and Ecstasy dancers on the move. It's getting to the point where only busts make my gossip section anymore.

• The traditional media got in on the Sahara verdicts in Anaheim. Read the LA Times and OC Register versions of this horrid event in Media Bites.

• Moving into 1998, the Reader's Dancer Reviews are now updated with reviews of dancers at Spearmint Rhino (Industry and Rialto), Tropical Lei, Fritz, Sahara, Century, Exotica and Mr. J's. Plenty of hot reading for all. As usual, more nominations for DOMs included.

• The last of the 1997 Reader's Out of Town Reviews updated with several Sacramento clubs, picture taking in San Diego and Glitter Gulch in Vegas. I'm backup up already for 1998 so expect to see this updated again real soon.

• New events have been added to the Calendar section for Erotica LA, "fuzz" club in Hollywood and Sam's Hof Brau's dance contest finals.

• Links Galore:
  AleXXXis SINclaire works at Century Theater and has some hot pictures on her website. April Arikssen is a house dancer in Sacramento that also features. Tiger from the Jet Strip has a Asain porno website. Also, there is a dancer in Indianapolis named Tristen and she's got an interesting site with ettiquites for customers and dancers to follow. They are all now listed in my Links to Dancers Section.

  In the Spotlight Links Section, you'll find new links to a Stephanie's page which contains a candid interview with an exotic dancer. Also, you'll now find a link to the Vagina Research Institute Website. Yes, you read that correctly.

  For dancers, there is now a link in the Dancer Resource Section to Brooke's Dancer Advocate Page. She is hell bent on exposing bad strip club managers and owners.

• Ace reporter GreenDog attended a Los Angeles City Council meeting at the Encino Community Center to tighten the laws, yet again, on strip clubs and other adult entertainment and businesses. Read his full report in the Headlines Section. Yes, he was really there. If you are as upset about these law makers as GreenDog is, email him and let him know your views.

  In related headlines, Assemblyman Baugh's anti-strip club bill (AB 726) was again on the floor of the California Assembly. A similar bill was ignored last time, but Baugh has decided to try again.

  Also in Headlines, Fantasy Island begins it's search for Miss Fantasy Island.

• Pearl has come out with another video which I have reviewed in my Video Reviews section. This time she really decided to reveal ALL with this strip-cumentary. A MUST SEE for Pearl fans.

• If anybody missed me ranting and going off, checkout my Rants and Raves section about what got cut out of Quentin Tarentino's latest movie, Jackie Brown. Don't worry, I've included a picture of what got cut out. I love complaining.

Read the reviews on Classy Lady, Dreams Club, Exotica (new location), Fantasy, Hollywood A-Go-Go, Imperial Theater, Spearmint Rhino (Rialto) and Strippers. Boy, it's sure about time.

January 20, 1998

• It's time for some juicy GOSSIP again! This time, the juice on the new Hustler Club (including picture), busts all around LA, Lacy Street Cabaret juice, Mermaid resurrection, and Rhino mega-juice.

• As usual, I procrastinated on updating my Z-Mail section for 1997. I have finally finished all the letters for 1997 and ready to update for 1998 soon. The last few 1997 letters are mostly complaints about the lack of tipping, Exotica, Cheetah's, Jumbo's, Bob's, addicting dancers, and my site not containing all the clubs. There is one letter defending the Bare and a reader from Tampa gives an update.

January 7, 1998

• Got a chance to swing down to Orange County for a re-review of California Girls. Executive summary: Club remodeled, still got lookers.

• The Calendar section has been updated with more feature schedules for Felecia, Kelly O'Dell, and Jenna Jameson.

January 6, 1998

• I have resurrected the Calendar section, which was sort of lost during my last "entire site upgrades". It's back, and as before, it lists the dance contest nights for those regulars getting bored with the house dancers.

• Mo' Links: Imperial Theater now has a website and it's listed in my Clubs Links Section. Also, Mimi, a dancer on the east coast, also has a mini-website, listed in my Dancer Links Section.
