| Is the feature worth the price of the ticket? Well, that depends on the
feature. Some sizzle, and others fizzle. Read all about it here before plucking
down your hard earned moola. If you need more information on features, checkout

Jenna JamesonSeptember 1997
The club itself is setup for features with a large stage and plenty of standing room for the people who didn't make it to the stage. Jenna seems to have a good following because the club was packed. When the DJ announced her appearance on stage, the crowd stood up and went wild. Nice start for Jenna. If that doesn't get a feature pumping, I don't know what will. Jenna comes out in leather and knee pads. I assumed the knee pads indicated she would be on her knees a lot. Not a bad thing. Her first of 4 songs is the hardcore upbeat song I'm Broken by Pantera. She dances wildly and soon shows why she needs the knee pads. She jumps up and comes down on her knees. Wow. It's nice to see some real dancing by a feature for a change. Her second song is The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson. This time she shows off her adult video talents by spiting on her hand and the spit seems to stick to her lips. Some would call this too nasty. As for me, nothing is too nasty. All I could wonder was how she got her spit to be so thick. Another added bonus is that Jenna just knows how to look and act nasty. Some features do, most don't. Click on Jenna's picture to see exactly what I'm talking about. Third song is another upbeat Prong song in which she again shows off her wild dancing abilities by running and sliding on her knees. This could only be done on a very large stage like the one at Scamps. On this song, she comes around to the audience for some participation. She notices some house dancers and goes a little crazy. Now, keep in mind that Jenna's uncle owns Scamps. Therefore, the house dancers indirectly work for Jenna. So, I don't know if they were just thinking about job security or just getting turned on but the crowd goes wild at this point. When you thought it was getting a little wild for OC standards, her last song is How Do U Want It by 2 Pac of all songs. Now more spit comes out and gets to be all over the place. More audience participation with house dancers and customers. I don't think I should go into the details here but I'm wonder if other features are allowed to be so wild at Scamps.

Kelly O'DellJune 1997
As per my usual plan, I got there late but in time to see Kelly start her show. Her first song was Legs by ZZ Top where she pretty much just pranced around the stage and took her top off. Her second song was the Sweet Dreams cover by Marylin Manson in which she eventually takes her bottom off. This reporter is so jaded that it was not very exciting to me until she jumps off the stage and decides to give Francesca a full Stevie Wonder on her lap. She also sat on a bald headed guys shiny head. The crowd seemed to like that action. Her last song was by Tool and she handed out her posters by making the fans bite it from between her leg. We stayed for her next act and amazingly, it was completely different from her first set. She did a full body paint of T-shirts where she made imprints of her private parts in the same areas on the shirts. The crowd started to scream to get the shirts. What people will do for a free shirt. Later in the Fantasy Pit area, Kelly was very playful with the fans in line. She surprised me when she decided to be upside down when we took a Polaroid of her with me. Kelly has signed with VCA and is about to release a new video called "Raw Footage" in June 1997 so look for it in your favorite video stores.
