Off to LA again (via a weekend workshop and 3 days of room and board at Esalen,
where I got a massage each day, but I will *not* tell you my recommendations
here ;-)
Thanks to Z Bone's web page for good reviews, hints and info.
Wed. June 19 - off to Bob's
Classy Lady for the "amateur contest".
Unlike many amateur contests that are over quickly, they drag this one out.
Each amateur gets two songs, and they put up a set of house dancers between
amateurs, and ran a few "free lap dance" specials. Then they have all the
contestants on stage for a number. Took several hours. In general I agree
with Z Bone's (high) ratings. This time I tried the lap dances - after not
being too impressed last time with the booth dances.
House dancers of note:
-
Ashley - pretty amazing pole work and floor work. very nice and natural hard
body. Support your local dancer.
-
Tasha - new cutie from (forgot where in upper mid-West). very, very, very
cute.
-
Caressa - pretty good dancer on stage, even better on my lap.
-
Melissa - also pretty fine. Not too many false fronts on this night, except
for the waitress corps, which seemed almost universally bare breasted (cool)
and "enhanced" (not cool).
Contestants: three black women, three white women. real:fake was 2:1 and
1:2 respectively as I recall. Several real amateurs, with unpolished though
enthusiastic dancing. One of the black women was a very good dancer in all
respects. But not a good night for the darker ladies - all three winners
were white. Methinks it is not entirely truthful to judge contests based
on noise (which is mostly the young guys).
Midway thru the contest, I checked out the kitchen - kinda short of vegetarian
things - but what could I expect? Fried mozzarella sticks were not overdone
or greasy, pretty good Marinara sauce. Garden salad was iceberg lettuce (errr),
but lots of veggies. Pretty good for a tit-bar. Anyway - I had a pretty enjoyable
time.
Fri. June 21 - "lunch" around 2:30 pm at
Wild Goose, Inglewood
The workshops I go to in LA are in a hotel on Century Blvd by LAX. They charge
hotel prices for lunch buffets (with hotel food) and for their Garden burger
- 8 bucks for an invariably overdone Garden burger (these things are precooked
grain and veggie concoctions, charring them just results in an inedible brick)
and overdone, greasy fries. The solution is to drive down to the Wild Goose.
$3.50 gets a nicely warmed Garden burger with good fries. Another buck gets
a large side of the days veggies (no better than hotel buffet tho').
Drinks are about hotel prices, but there is no cover charge. There is also
the small matter of some pretty good entertainment during the 2 hour breaks
I usually get. (Thursday was too short - drat!)
Today I saw Stayce and Courtney
(both ASSC posters), though only Stayce
saw me. Never got around to a table dance from her. (Stayce is a Z Bone
dancer of the month.)
Dancers of note:
-
Zoe - some of her coworkers kid her as "Zoe super model". She is a tall and
astoundingly beautiful blonde, and has modeled. She is also a pretty dern
good dancer.
-
Josephine - Zoe's partner on stage today (often the Goose runs sets of two
dancers on its single large stage). A tall brunette, she is also very watchable.
-
Terry - a cute mid-size brunette with long curly hair. Never seen her before,
though I wished I had.
-
Jessica - fine looking blonde with long curly hair. Seen her before, and
glad to see her again.
-
Honey - cutie with tan and long straight brunette hair. Seen but never had
her dance for me before. Entrancing eyes, yikes - could I stand to live in
L.A.?
-
Angie - good dancer on stage.
$5 per daytime table dance is way nice. I've usually felt I got value, even
though they are done clothed (this place serves alcohol - so the
stupid^H^H^H^H^H^H California liquor control board laws must be followed).
Hint: get them at the chair by the DJ booth if you like privacy, but if you
want to *see* her, get it at your table - next to the bar or at your booth
along the walls for best light.
Hint: The kitchen closes at 10 pm less a few minutes, so don't come rushing
in late like I did Thursday expecting to and needing to eat.
I wasn't too impressed by the night time women I saw in a brief glance, but
I was inside just long enough to be told by the kitchen guy they just closed.
Still, I'm curious about the night time action here.
Fri. June 21 - "dinner" (near)
Ecstasy
Z Bone's directions confused me a bit, and LA's scale was even more of a
mind boggler. I headed down the 405 toward Costa Mesa, after a fruitless
search for cheap and good eats near the hotel. Mile after mile unfolds. I
saw a Coco's (well, maybe better than Denny's ;-) the exit before Fairview.
After I pulled off at Fairview and checked the map, it turns out that Ecstasy
is not in Costa Mesa, but is East of the 405 in the next town over. I headed
back on surface streets toward the Coco's and came across Kaplan's which
looked like a better bet. This is a deli and bakery, way better than Denny's
or Coco's. Damn good potato salad with their sandwiches.
Anyway, I eventually find Ecstasy and go in. Being used to
Mitchell Brothers
cover prices, $20 for entry and two "drinks" didn't faze me (I also rarely
drink alcohol so I don't miss it). Generally good dancing here, though the
poles on the stages were wobbly and not used for any full out pole tricks.
Dancers of note:
-
Aspen (?sp) - nice and natural blonde (well, not sure about the blonde part
;-), good dancer on stage.
-
Justice - good moves, large though interesting tattoos on this darker skinned
(Oriental?) woman.
-
Larisa - tall, natural body blonde. Looks hot, a glance at her giving a couch
dance seemed to confirm that impression. Good moves on stage, unfortunately
I didn't get a chance to check out the $50 nude couch dance with her.
-
Alexa (sp?) - kinda new, worked at the Admiral in Chicago. Good stage work
by the cute brunette. Got my first couch dance with her. Later I got another.
-
Erica (sp?) - very cute petite blonde, saw her roaming around in a bikini
and didn't wait to see her on stage (as I almost always do) to bring her
to the couches. OK - I kinda feel for her, she turns out to be real sweet,
and a nice dancer.
Driving back to the hotel, I realized that this place is exactly as far from
the hotel as Mitchell Brothers is from where I live (40 miles). The freeways
in LA are worse, not to mention often twice as wide.
Sat. June 22 - "lunch" at Wild Goose
Todays veggie was corn, a bit better than yesterday's green beans. Today
both Stayce and Courtney saw me, but I only got dances from Courtney. Something
about her curvy lips is very enjoyable to watch. The thought of kissing her
seems so hot, why ruin the fantasy with reality.
Also meet Brittany (sp?). And basically feel in love. She's totally cute,
with beautiful blue eyes, sexy creamy skin and the nicest short raven tresses
I've ever seen. She also has the most wonderful smile and vibes. And two
of the most interesting, elegant and feminine tattoos I've ever seen. In
the middle of her back is a ribbon bow surrounding a heart. And her left
upper arm has a ribbon tattooed around it, with a bow also. She's pretty
good on stage, and does wonderful table dances. I was really bummed that
(a) she takes Sunday off, (b) I didn't get her over yesterday (c) she lives
in LA and (d) I didn't give her my card. Sigh.
I was a few minutes late getting back to my workshop.
Sat. June 22 - Deja Vu
N. Hollywood.
I'm ambivalent about Deja Vus. They are really commercial, the DJ's have
probably only let a song run to completion by accident, and the dancers tend
to be a tad on the heartless hustler side. They do tend to be mostly natural
tops, with good dancing though.
This Deja Vu is still commercial, their well stocked sex shop is as big as
the biggest I've seen at any Deja Vu. The DJ's still talk too much, the songs
are still cut short, and unfortunately there were a few more un-natural tops
than I wanted to see. But, there were a large number of real women, and nobody
was too aggressive.
I did spend a lot of time sitting at the stage, and was reward by lots of
good dance and some amount of playing from many of the dancers. Later I had
a few private booth dances - NOTE: these are now $20 for all dances. It might
take a bit of time to get to know and be known by the dancers and figure
out who was nastiest. Since the booths are small, there is not much chance
for artistry here, so might as well enjoy other aspects.
Dancers of note (sorry I lost my notes of their names):
-
Bo (sp?) - good on stage, and good in the booths.
-
Aspen (sp?) - Oriental-ish woman, very good on stage, fierce in the booths.
What fine leg muscles you have my dear.
-
______ < raven tressed lass with piercings > - fine on the stage, somewhat
reserved in the booths.
-
______ < very tall, very large real breasts, redhead > - fine sense
of play on stage, missed getting a booth dance from her. These are what real
breasts ought to be when large, slinky masses of sensuousity languidly caressing
whatever they happen to be moving over. Yum.
-
______ < cut tall, slender blonde with very small breasts > Delightful
on stage and elsewhere.
Hint: You can pick up some amount of souvenir junk by waiting (which won't
be long) for a "special" dance. The DJ calls all the women to the stage,
has them yell then the audience yell, tries to impress himself with his witty
repartee and then the women go out asking if you want a dance. I walked out
with a picture calender, trading cards and last month's Showgirl magazine.
But don't plan on winning big time - it was last year's calender and most
of the women were "features", and the couple with natural tops were obscured!
About the time I was leaving, on stage came
Summer - a magazine starlet and
a Z Bone dancer of the month. From mid-ribs
down and shoulders on up she is gorgeous to the max, and dances with the
very best of them. Unfortunately, the effect is ruined by a couple of grotesque
blobs on her chest. Ugh - so sad. Maybe it's because I've had the opportunity
to have sex with several women with fake boobs, and they all had really weird
vibes and seemed just way too self conscious/insecure/distant. Some had developed
really hard boobs. And there is the dissonance of watching a female body
moving and expecting it to flow and stretch in a natural fashion and being
distracted when that does not happen.
Took the Hollywood freeway back instead of the 405 - big mistake: after midnight
and *two* separate traffic jams.
Sun. June 23 - "lunch" at Wild Goose
A short lunch, but couldn't face the hotel buffet. (was also hoping beyond
hope that Brittany would show - am I taken or what?). The mixed veggies side
dish was not so hot - Garden burger still fine.
I was rewarded by the appearance of Peggy on stage as the first dancer. To
whoever wanted to see built women dancing, while she is not as ripped as
Piper, you definitely do *not* want to bet big money in a hand stand or push
up contest with Peggy. We're talking doing pushups while in a handstand,
while holding and/or moving the legs in good form in the air - for tens of
seconds at a time. We're also talking very good table dances here, from a
nice person. If I had kids in LA I know who their gymnastics teacher would
be. I left contented even without the all-in-all sights of a nude joint.
I'll be back to LA - and the Wild Goose and probably Bob's - in due time.
cheers,
glo
