Jacklyn Lick, who has her own
section on this site, invited me to visit her at her radio show on
KSEX radio. I
drove down to the station, located in an undisclosed secret bunker, and
entered the building with Jacklyn. Although I've been to regular radio
stations before, I've never visited an Internet radio station, let alone,
one dedicated to "sex", so I didn't really know what to expect.
Jacklyn took me to her office where she fielded my questions, answered
email, took calls, signed documents, and generally ran her entire empire,
all simultaneously. About this time, her guests for the night, porn stars
Kim Chambers & Scott Styles walked into the station. In case you forgot
what Kim looks like, you can see her on her website. After the usual chit chat session,
Wankus, the program director, called us into the studio portion of the
radio station.
As it turns out, the studio looks pretty much like a regular small
radio station, except that there are webcams and comfortable looking
couches. The room setup sort of reminds me of a mix of the Howard Stern
show and the Robin Byrd show from New York. I sat on a chair away from the
webcams while Wankus was the board op and sidekick, and Jacklyn sat on the
comfortable looking couch with her guests.
One big difference with this radio show is that it's an Internet
broadcast so everyone is pretty much swearing and saying things that you
can't on regular radio. That's perfect for a sex related show. Jacklyn and
Wankus seem to be pretty used to joking back and forth making for some
great funny dialog. It didn't take too long before Kim and Jacklyn started
taking their clothes off. I'm pretty used to see that kind of action but
it was fun.
