If you want to
check out the many dance contests for LA/OC strip clubs, take a look at this
schedule. Some dance contests are rigged, some are nothing more than an
audition for new dancers, and most (if not all) allow currently working
dancers to enter the contest. Therefore, even if the event is advertised as
an amateur contest, just assume you'll get to see dancers from other clubs
trying to make some extra cash. Once in a while, you'll see dancers from out
of town or just starting out. That can be worth the trip and cover.
Some contests get discontinued and others are cancelled if there are not
enough contestants, so you might want to call the club before you make a
long haul trip to the club. If you are a dancer, make sure you find out what
time you have to be there to enter and get the name of the person you talked
to. Some contests are limited to the number of contestants, so you don't
want to be late.
