2/8/98 (Contributed) - Stopped in La Gals today. It is nearly a carbon
copy of the Deja Vu Centerfolds on Broadway, only Baby sized, and with uglier
girls. $10 admission, with a permanent ink stamp!!! that is good for in and
out only until 8pm, after 8pm there is no in and out. The lobby sells inexpensive
porn videos. Pay the cashier $10, and walk through the curtains to the back.

There is a tiny round stage, maybe 8 feet in diameter, and tiny cocktail
tables ala CP in front of the stage. Maybe ten tables, twice that many chairs.
Dark lighting, with the same neon glow carpet used at Centerfolds. At 3pm
I was the only customer in the joint, with six girls, all white, all average,
maybe equal to decent MSC type, no stunners, and ex-MSC dancer Yoko was there,
and she is a big girl, a very nice big girl, but definitely a big girl. I
also hear that another ex-MSC biggie Jenna-Tel has worked there. Anyway,
girls do the standard strip on the stage. Can't tell if there are laps in
the lobby or not, does not look like it. And it would be weird doing it out
in the open on those little dinky chairs.

DJ set up is right there on the same floor as the chairs, in the corner opposite
the dinky stage, maybe 20 feet away. Very small. Yoko then gave me the tour.
There are a few video booths that seat two, you have to feed the video booth
paper money. You can watch alone or take a girl with you, but you will have
to pay the girl to watch the video with you. Then there are a variety of
theme booths, like Victorian, trip to the Moon, roaring twenties, etc. Just
like the ones at Centerfolds, only not as elaborate or fancy. The rooms have
real doors that close, not curtains, but also have a window! The girl will
use a key to activate the fog in the window offering some privacy, but when
time runs out, the fog goes away and you are public again!

Typical Deja-Vu-style laps are $20, but Yoko quoted $40 topless and $60 nude,
and anything after that is up to you. I am not sure if she meant that if
I wanted to get comfortable I could, or if I wanted to tip more I could,
or what. Probably both.

Rumor was that the booths have video cameras in them, I glanced but could
not see any in the dark, but I would not be surprised. I saw them at Centerfolds
when I was there a year ago.

There is a second "stage" way in the back, after the theme rooms area. The
stage is surrounded by "private booths", very similar to MB ultra room, except
that you have to pay to enter the booth, a timer again, just like the video
booth. Close the door, and fog fills the window. Time runs out, fog goes
away, and you are public again, and have to leave. Once in the booth there
is a waist-high horizontal rail and a sheer curtain separating you from the
stage, but you can still see the guys in the other booths all around the
stage. Yoko said this stage has been closed for some time. Duh, I wonder
why???? Pay extra to see another stage show, after $10 admission? Yoko said
they often had two girls dancing at once in the room.

I did not ask directly, but I got the impression that the financial arrangements
here are the same as at other deja vus, ie: the house counts and times the
lap dances, then collects 50% of the take from the girl for themselves. Bastards!
