• A small club with a single stage and several rooms for private dances and serious entertainment. Crazy Horse should be your first stop in San Francisco if you have a fetish for Asian women.

• The Crazy Horse Gentleman's Club is located on the north side of Market Street between 5th & 6th Streets. Don't let the "Gentleman's Club" part scare you off; this is no glitzy, pretentious, look-but-don't-touch club.

• The main theater is long and narrow, with a newly-remodeled (larger, higher) T-shaped stage at the back. The eye-level runway is long and lined with uncomfortable chairs (well, uncomfortable compared to the big armchairs in the back half). Private shows and/or dances are done in any of several other rooms, including private booths similar to those at Market Street Cinema.

• The owner reportedly has quite a preference for Asian women, and this shows in the lineup; you will often see a selection of Chinese, Thai, Filipina and assorted other Asian ethnicities. Quite a few of CH's attractive black dancers also stir up good reviews. (See below.)

• 1/99 (Laar) - On my last visit, the day-shift dancers ranged from slightly below average to hmm, she's pretty cute, with most being about average. Tiffany (day shifts every day except Sunday), a petite Chinese girl with adorable eyes, is the winner of the come-meet-my-mom award; she was an absolute sweetheart. Strangely, even after talking for nearly an hour, she never even asked for a dance. If she seems reluctant, ask her.

• There was never any heavy pressure for private dances, but some of the sales pitches were fun. :-)

• The feature was newly-signed Vivid Video girl Kera Kenner, an enhanced (conspicuously but not tragically) but still very attractive Asian pornstress. Her 4-song performance was energetic, but nothing extraordinary by SF standards.

• 1/99 (from ASSC) - At the CH, there are several gorgeous black dancers. Number 1 is Candy, my favorite for the last year. She is about 24, natural breasts, she looks a lot like Holly Robinson (on the Hanging with Mr. Cooper show). She works day shift, usually Wed-Fri. Number 2 is Lauren, a recent find I discovered on a Sunday night. Tall, shapely, nicely done implants, good conversation. She works nights. Number 3 is Calypso. Some day shifts, some night shifts. An older girl from the islands but still quite pretty and very willing and able to please. Number 4 is Brown Sugar. You won't find a more perfect body on any other dancer, black, white, or asian. She would fit right in a playboy spread. Young and beautiful. Nights. Number 5 is China. Pretty but her flesh is a bit looser than the others, but she tries hard. There used to be so many at the CH. Now, comparitively, there are but a few. But I generally prefer them to the MSC women.

If I Could Change One Thing

• I have no use for smoke machines, so I'd vote for losing it. But really, if that's all there is to complain about...

The Bottom Line

Club Quality   A fairly comfortable place.

Dancer Quality   4-8 More close to average, but the special ones are special.

Dancer Attitudes   Nothing but good 'tudes last time around.

Heat   Uh, yeah.

Go?   Sure, especially if you're a fan of almond eyes.
