| Subject: Dos
Equis vs Budweiser, or: An extended review of my travel to TJ |
As some of you
may remember, I was quiet taken by B^ reports on his travel to
Tijuana. Last week I finally got the chance to follow in his
shoes and had the most exciting time in a while. To my
surprise I discovered something completely unexpected:
I assume that most of you read B^ report and I will not bore
you with too many details. The Trolley from downtown San Diego
departs every 10 minutes and a roundtrip is $4. Take the Blue
Line to San Ysidro, the stop is 100 ft from the border. The
ride takes about 40 min and seems to be safe, even at night.
Crossing the border is as easy as described and for the ones
who decide to drive: parking is $6 -7 for 24 hours. But be
aware: the pigs know that nobody comes back sober! The Motel 6
is about 20 minutes by foot away from the border and costs $30
to $35 depending on the night. (619 - 690-6663)
On my first visit to TJ, I didn’t feel brave enough to go
into the Zona Roja, the redlight district. So I told the
cabdriver at the border to take me to "Bolero" a
strip club close to the border. It was slow on that sunday
night and I decided to go deep into TJ: The ride to
Madona’s, Bolero’s sister club in Downtown TJ took only 5
minutes. All cab rides to and from the border are $5. At both
clubs the free internet passes were honored. http://www.tijuana-net.com/madonas/
Madona’s cover is $5, beer $3.50, dances $5 for table and
$20 or $30 for couch and VIP respectively. The club has a US
feel to it and if it wasn’t for the spanish DJ I would have
forgotten that I’m was in TJ. Since I was still a little
nervous about not having a passport, I went back to SD after
only 3 hours in TJ. Crossing the border was easier than
getting from LA to the Valley and they seem to accept a
drivers license without any problems. But be aware of racial
profiling: a mexican american US-citizen or native american
may have a different experience.
I did enjoy TJ on this first "test visit" and felt
safer than expected. A few days later, I decided to go back.
This time I went to the Adelita Bar first. It was arond 6 pm
and I wanted to be sure to arrive at bright daylight. The Zona
Roja is only 4 block north of the party strip on revolution
(some of you may know that area from the spring break
parties). The shops seem to close between 6.30 and 7. Until
that time it very busy and safe on the streets.
The Adelita Bar was cleaner than I had expected. Entering the
club from the daylight, it is very dark and I took B^ advice
and went to "Los Banyos" first. This gives one time
to adjust the eyes to the darkness and check out the scene. I
have been doing this at almost every new SC, too.
Adelita had a stage show, an MC (all in spanish) and at least
40 girls. One woman, with very good english, introduced
herself as Hilda and started grinding me on my barstool. She
was i nher early thirties and overall pleasant. At a SC I
would have bought a few dances from her. But here I asked
myself at this point: Bob, do you want to have sex with Hilda?
The answer was clear: NO. So I declined her offer to become
her "boyfriend". All the women who approached me
were very pleasant and took no for an answer very well. The
hustle factor was smaller than at a most SC in the US.
Looking around the bar, I devided the girls into three groups:
the first are english speaking in their late twenties to early
thirties and well kept. They approach you and are easy to pick
up. A couple of them would be okay for a lap, but I would not
want to have sex with any of them. The second group is not
attractive and I am being polite. To think of some as
prostitutes is almost grotesk! The last group consists of
younger spanish only speaking girls. This group consists of
the ones B^ refers to as "hotties". They just sit or
stand around and lick lollypops. This is a very interesting
and arising sight. To pursue the best looking girls in that
group, one has to take the initiative. And I wasn’t brave
enough for such an enterprise. After a while, I got took all
my courage and began flirting with one very good looking girl.
I smiled and laughed and at most SC she would have been all
over me, but this young lady just sat there smiling and
licking and did not approach me. Than again: I didn’t feel
ready for a „session“ anyway. Overall, I felt safe and
actually enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.
After about 1 hour at Adelita, I left and since it was still
daylight outside, walked to Ave. Revolution. I passed by
numerous street-walkers, who left me alone. I have to
emphasize that it was still early at 7 pm and I would not
recommend that walk at anytime later. I was so busy playing my
"tough guy - street smart" role, that I didn’t get
a chance to check the street-walkers out.
It took me less than 10 minutes to walk from Adelita's to
Madona’s. And now, in my enterprise to find new grounds to
lap, I finally made the big mistake and walked into a topless
bar on Ave Revolution: "Pussycat". The dancers were
extremely pushy. I declined a table dance, but the dancer
started grinding me anyway. Halfway through the forced grind,
she started pushing her crotch very tightly into my face. I
tried to close every possible orifice and panicked at the
thought where "that" may have been before. Not only
was that almost like a "rape lapdance", during the
time her crotch covered my face the waitress brought the
dancer a drink. It was a $10 tequilla and I was strongly
encouraged to buy her that drink. So I cut my losses, dropped
the $10 and started running. On my wayout the dancer kept
insulting me, for not tipping her and refusing to buy $20
private dances from her. BTW: until now I have not developed
any (new) sickness.
I can litterally see some of you (hello Elan), smile and chake
you head in disgust. I should have been more careful and yes,
one should expect something like this in TJ. But all the time
in the Zona Roja nothing had happened to me and I was
surprised to see that the brothels are less pushy than some of
the stripclubs.
After escaping my "abuser" at Pussycat, I walked
across Ave Revolution and on the corner of 4th Street, went
into Madonas. Although it was my second visit within 4 days
and the Manager recognized me, they again honored the free
internet pass.
This visit at Madonas saved my day: I was at the club from 8
to a little after 12 and saw the best looking latinas with the
fewest silicone, ink and metal. I was in latina-heaven. The
stage show was competitive with a SC in LA. Some of the pole
work and especially the acrobatics on the small ring hanging
from the ceiling were spectacular. Similar rings are at
Sam’s in LA. The best stage dancers during the day shift
were Ashley and Jenny.
Until 9 pm they had a 2for1 drink special and I got a couple 2
bottles Dos Equis for $3.50. Every 1/2 hour the dancers did $1
dances at the stage. These dances were like the ones at BCL,
only the dancers here get topless and provide full grind for a
2 min song. Compare this to a 2for1 special at SR or DV, which
is also only 2 min long, but costs $10 (for each mini song).
The regular dances were uncut, although they got shorter as
the night went on.
Besides the $1 dances I must have gotten 10 table dances for
$5. These are mostly air, but a very good way to check out a
dancer before moving to a private dance. The private dances
are $20 to $50. I don’t really know what the precise
difference is, but I went for the $20 dances and they were
very good. Topless, no specials and very sexy. Since I
wasn’t looking for a „session“ anyway, this satisfied me
completely.
Sitting at the tip rail in Madonas, I began to realize, how
the government takes away the SC fun with all the minor
regulations in LaLaLand. I love tipping the girls onstage and
sip on a beer while having a topless cuty sit on my lap. Yes,
this is freedom to me.
On my way across the border I saw an ad for upcoming bull
fights. Next time I will combine the visit to Madonas with
watching a bullfight before. Men’s true adventure |
