Date: 1/29/2004 7:32am Name:   Delta (858) Subject: Large dance floor They have removed yet another panel of glass in the wall around the large dance floor, reducing the action in the corners of the dance floor and on the front row of couches next to the dance floor. LA clubs are going to hell.

Date: 1/13/2004 4:06pm Name:   toney3002 (9) Subject: One more thing Oh, one more thing that I noticed when I was sitting on the couch by the large dance floor. I saw one girl (dark hair, young, pretty face but she is a big girl. Too fat for my taste.) whose hand kept moving fast for a while on the guy’s #$%$ area, if you know what I mean. They were sitting right by the TV, so her back was facing the front area where the security guy comes around. Her customer was looking up with the blank-expression on his face. I guess he was feeling pretty good. LOL!

There were only 2/3 couples in the small dance floor area, but the large dance floor was packed. I danced with a short, Latina from Mexico who spoke very little English. She gave me a good grinding on the dance floor but she really didn’t do it for me. There were so many girls working that night. Some were more attractive than the others, but IMO I didn’t see one, what I consider, really good-looking girl. I have seen a few lookers there in the past but I guess they usually don’t stick around very long.

The place looked dead. I peeked into the small dance floor area and saw just 1 couple dancing and the couch area was empty. I stayed 45 minutes or so and see if there was any girl I wanted to dance with. But, no such luck. I left and headed for CF.

Even last Saturday night, I noticed that a lot of guys standing around were not even watching the fights.

You can't even walk past the cashier it's so crowded. My strategy is to get a girl and get to a dance floor. I really can't handle standing in that mob for very long. Thye have a huge number of girls on those nights and selection is as good as it gets at any HC. What I didn't understand last night (a Tuesday) was why there were almost as many guys as Sat night for the fights, but a scarce number of girls because the mandatory work-the-weekend rule was not in effect. Is HC damand picking up?

I walked in around 9:30 and there were just way too many guys standing around, and couldn't even see the girls sitting on the couches. They were showing some fights on TV, so maybe that's why... I picked one Latina whom I've never seen before. I picked her because she was less fat than the most. I guess the quality of the LAG girls are still pretty much the same. We went to the large dance floor, danced a little, and sat down and talked a little. A couple of months ago, one girl told me they didn't allow 'ass-grind' on the dance floor. But, now I saw a couple of girls doing it. My girl gave me a decent ass-grind, too. So, LAG is relaxing their rules a bit, at least on the dance floor? The lighting in the couch area, next to the large dance floor, seemed to be a little brighter than usual. I wish they'd rearrage the couches back to 'normal'.

Date: 11/6/2003 9:58am Name:   Delta (624) Subject: New afternoon Start Time The Club now opens at 4:00 p.m., rather than the 2:30 or 3:00 p.m. start times earlier this year. Last night at midnight, selection was fair, mileage was ordinary. Fantasy had better looking girls.

Date: 11/3/2003 11:35pm Name:   Hurricane (155) Subject: Re: Where did former LAG girls go? Don't expect most of the ladies working at hostess clubs consider it as their permanent career job. Some of them don't enjoy working there but they need to make money to make ends meet. Most of the ladies who work for a long time and suddenly disappear, one can assume that they probably moved on with their life and found a better job or relocated to another hostess club. My advice is that if you have a regular hostess dancer that you wish to keep-in-touch, you might want to exchange information before she decides to move on and disappear from the club.

And, that explains why I have not seen any of my regular girls for sometime. I only know of one girl who went to CF. I wonder where the rest of the girls went.

The couches in the back row were dark, although they are bright on the monitors. I guess YMMV. Sleepy keeps telling me the LAG has some LE problem that will result in a suspension for 30 days, but I can't confirm it from any other source.

Once the undercover vice cops discover something wrong, the club can be force to shutdown. I certainly don't want that to happen. In fact, I've heard rumors from the ladies that the club will close down just like what happened to VIP in the City of Industry. All it takes is for one person to screw it up for everyone. Fortunately, the closure will be temporary. If you are looking for mileage inside the club, I suggest that you and your lady hostess meet privately outside the club. It doesn't look good for the club because your actions could ruin it for me as well as everyone who are looking for some nighttime entertainment.

But, if a hostess dancer still wishes to pursue a "wrongful termination" lawsuit against the club and the lawyer believes she may have a legal case, then she better be prepared to pay $1K to the attorney or put a downpayment of some unspecified amount before filling out paperwork. However, I remember a while back one of the girls told me that they have to sign a contract before they become hired. I'm certain somewhere in the contract may include a legal statement that prevent the hostess dancer to take any kind of legal action against the club. If so, then it may turn out to be a losing battle and there's no chance of recovering her money from the attorney. On the other hand, if the attorney find holes in the contract and she happens to win the case, then she could be awarded probably at least $7K or more depending the circumstances. Does anybody know if these girls are considered 'independent contractors' to these clubs?

This is no doubt a response to the recent bust at CF. The club hopes it can absolve them of legal liability should they experience the same thing, but I'm not sure that it would. As a practical matter they can't enforce it, but what HG has the resources to hire an attorney and fight it if she gets fired for violating the rule?

Date: 8/30/2003 10:28pm Name:   Hurricane (140) Subject: New Rules for Patrons and Hostess I stop-by this club in the afternoon today and noticed a big new sign above the cashier's desk. It reads something like if there an agreement between the hostess and the customers to meet, go out and date outside the club for $money$, it's considered unlawful and impermissible and a risk of being arrested and/or fired from their job. It makes me wonder how the club owners can enforce this regulation outside the club? I believe it's really none of their (damn) business what goes on outside the club if the hostess is not at work. The club can probably be sued for wrongful termination by the hostess. Am I correct? I noticed the entrance leading to the large dance floor had been widen a little bit and the couches had been reorganized.

Those citations are the origin of the changes (more open dance floor, more lights, and whatever else is about to happen after the reflooring of the small dance area). Sounds like Dreamland all over again.

Date: 7/27/2003 10:10am Name:   Delta (396) Subject: Lights, Camera NO ACTION! Apparently the origin of the changes in not LE. The owner took a black light to the couches. He apparently saw lots of "organic material. It casued him to increase visibility. The couches are now in an open square formation. Every sitter can see every other sitter. Lighting levels are being increasd. New lights are being installed above the large dance floor couch area. Yesterday the result was much lower mileage. Yuk.

The increased lighting on the dance floors has been followed by removal of a portion of the glass walls surrounding each dance floor. The effect is a severe decrease in mileage and increase in surveillance on the small dance floor, with only a modest change in the big dance floor. But more severe changes are on the way for the big dance floor . . . more openness, especially in the seating area, and changes in lighting over the seating area. TF, lets have some reporting on these changes.

An interesting insider note . . . when, during the night shift, Kurt calls for ten free minutes, and Saul is at the desk, which happened all night last night, no one is watching the cameras in the office. There is a 10 minute window of opportunity. Although the monitor on the cashier's desk is still within view, they don't pay any attention to it . . . and that monitor must be manually changed to the different camera views, whereas the office has a separate monitor for each camera.

Half of them came from Club Tropical. I recognize some of them. I suppose the other half came from LA Grand and VIP Lounge. I came to this club last week during the daytime and didn't like the selection of gals.

[Ratpack]---> i've heard and seen exactly the same thing. apparently management laid it down straight to the girls...new cameras, increases monitoring, too many girls here, need to let some go...and they have... i've heard of many girls being let go over the last couple months. for a variety of reasons...mileage, fighting, not making their hours, etc. basically the girls are on notice and they are actively looking to thin the crowd. [Delta]--> This could also portend a rate increase by the Club as demand increases by former VIP customers. Another result could be attrition by the less-than-busy girls, resulting in higher quality. [Ratpack]---> i think they'd be premature with a rate increase. the truth is, while there has been plenty of girls, it's been relatively slow some nights. i think LAG realizes who their target market is and it might be wise if they didn't screw that up too bad. as for quality of girls...i've been to VIP and i never saw any real lookers there (though i didn't frequent the place). considering the customer base at LAG it would be more likely that girls would migrate when they aren't making VIP sized tips than the guys would leave because the girls are asking for more. [TenFree]-->I'm a little surprised that more ex-VIP girls haven't made their way to CF....I think VIP had more in common with CF as far as type of girls and clientele than with LAG. [Ratpack]--->i know alot of LAG girls had been moving to other clubs...mostly CF but i know of a few who tried Starlight but didn't dig it. i imagine it's because of the heightened state at LAG...so it's a safe bet that trend will continue. A new girl that worked there from CF said that CF was more loose so to speak and that she even saw a girl give a BJ there recently. She said that she has been fired since. She said that the security guards overlook what is going on the couches at CF. She said it was much more strict at LAG.

I did have a dance with a chick nothing to brag about. while I was dancing I had a chance to see Raquelle and Your Ex- buddy SAndra in action cause they were there on the same dance floor. Raquelle was pinned on a well and the guy hads were under her dress grabing her ass as he wind grinding the sh** out of her. And as for Sandra she was dancing with a mexican dude. She was not pinned on any wall but she was ddancing dam close to this guy as id they were glued together. They were grinding and his hands were all over her. She seemed to be enjoying it. My friend told me that while I was dancing with another chica, Sandra was there. So, my friend asked her out for a dance instead. For the entire time I was in the club, I haven't seen her. Besides, I don't really care anymore if she's not interested to commit herself to get to know me. Also, I won't ask her out anymore for a dance because I know she will reject me. It is a waste of time and .
