907 visit, Feb 1, Fri

Hi All,
Feb 1, Friday evening
Looking for a change from the Industry clubs, I went to the 907 Club downtown. I was excited because I thought I was going to a club that I hadn't been to, but once I got inside, I realized I had been there before and had a lousy time. Oh well, too late to turn away.
I had a coupon (this is the only club I've ever seen advertise) from the LA Weekly for free admission and 20 minutes clock time, but there was nobody around taking money or coupons, so I just walked in. I found out later that it's free admission before 9 pm. I was immediately approached by a girl who touched me and asked me my name - quite different from protocol at the Boss. Well, the fact that she has passable English was a big plus for me, so I clocked her.
The club is very crowded, and one thing I like about it is that it has the feel of a normal nightclub. Girls and guys intermingle, the dance floor is big, and there's real dancing happening. As a matter of fact, when I was there, they were having a dance contest. I believe the winning couple would get 90 minutes of free clock time. All the women in the club were Latin, and except for myself and maybe a few others, all the men were also.
The chick I chose (or should I say, she chose ME) has a good shape, but is, shall we say, facially challenged. Actually, that's the exact combination I look for in a woman, whether it be in a club or in real life. She was very touchy-feely, but as was my experience last time, club restrictions and overall lack of privacy limit what can be done. Still, I had a much better visit than the last time, and considering the current sad situation at the Boss, maybe this is as good as it gets? And I don't have to drive 65 miles round trip! Also, drink/food prices here are much less than Industry. I had a coke and my chick ordered mango, and the total cost was $6 (both items together). I gave the waitress $7.
My rental chick asked me for my phone number, and suggested the possibility of having lunch together. Either she was just making me think she likes me, or she thinks I'm a rich gringo and she's hoping for an outside date. Regardless of her motives, I gave her my business card (only has my cell#). Actually, it also has my full name. Hey, I'm lonely and desperate - what can I say? As you might expect, she hasn't called.
