Z:
Where are you originally from?
V:
I'm originally from a little town called Ridgecrest in California.
Z:
I've never heard of it. Is that up north?
V:
Yes, I think so... close to Lancaster.
Z:
Do you remember the very first time you danced on stage?
V:
I remember the first tryout
and the first time I was hired because they were at two different clubs.
The first time I ever danced on stage was at a totally nude club a friend
of mine worked at. I felt really uncomfortable and shy, but I really think
that was because it was a really scuzzy club and didn't like the customers.
They were scary, and so were the girls. But when I got hired at the Main
Attraction it was on a day shift and it felt so natural to me. I felt like
I was in a fantasy world. I always fantasized what it would be like to be
dancing at a night club and just out of the blue start taking my clothes
off. That's exactly how it felt. It felt good to be naked. Oh, I've taken
this semester off dancing so I can go to college. So [I've been] taking a
leave of absence.
Z:
What type of music do you like to dance to?
V:
I dance to a variety of music, I pick my music according to the majority
of customers in the club. If there's a large crowd of cowboys, I'll dance
to country. If the crowd looks like businessmen, I dance to very seductive
music like Portishead. But my
favorite to dance to is the alternative scene, like Blink182. My high
school friend, Mark, is in the band. Sublime, Lords of Acid,
and Tracy Lords are a few of my favorites also.
Z:
What do you listen to at home?
V:
I listen to mostly alternative, but I like Kid Rock too. Classic rock
is really starting to appeal to me also.
Z:
Has anything embarrassing ever happened to you on stage?
V:
I can tell you a story about one time on stage at night. It was a packed
club, and I was dancing and had a brand new outfit on. It consisted of a
fishnet hose under my knee high platform vinyl boots with all those tiny
eyelets. Well, since it was brand new, I didn't foresee this, but I jumped
on the pole and went to cross my legs and swing around like usual and the
eyelets on my boots got snagged into my fishnets. Since I had a pole between
my legs, I couldn't reach to untangle myself. So, I sat on the floor with
my music still playing yelling for one of the other girls to come and help
me get unsnagged. While my customer sat and laughed his ass off right in
front of me. I was so embarrassed, but laugh at it now.
Z:
Did you finish your set or walk off?
V:
I finished the set.
Z:
Got any pet peeves?
V:
In everything I do, I have to put all my effort into. I never do a half ass
job. I'm sort of a perfectionist.
Z:
How does being a perfectionist work with being a dancer?
V:
Well, as a perfectionist, I constantly practice in front of my mirror at
home. Not only routines but facial expressions. Just to make sure they're
sexy enough. [Laughs]
Z:
What do you like to do in your spare time?
V:
Believe it or not, after spending a long hard 8 to 12 hours at the club on
my feet dancing, I like to go out dancing. It helps loosen my muscles for
the next day at work. I also go to college full time.
Z:
Have you done any traveling?
V:
I've pretty much been all over the US. Colorado was my favorite and I lived
in South Carolina and thought about stripping there, but never got an opportunity
to do it. I would love to go to Amsterdam... just to party and have a good
time and relax. But I will never pass up a free ticket on a cruise to the
Bahamas if you know what I mean. [Laughs]
Z:
What type of girls are you attracted to?
V:
Well I'm really attracted to blonde women with really big tits, I don't know
why, but I guess you can say I'm a tit woman. I like them with long hair
preferably.
Z:
Does this mean that you are bisexual?
V:
I guess you can say that. [Laughs]
Z:
What about guys?
V:
I always go for the businessman type. Doctors, lawyers, military types...
clean cut and professional looking really rocks me. Actually, alternative
rock stars get me hot too. [Laughs]
Z:
What about movies?
V:
Well, hmmm, let's see. My favorite movies... all the Shanes Worlds..
or do you mean real movies?
Z:
Shane was my Dancer of the Month a while back. Have you ever met her?
V:
No, but I'd love to.
Z:
[Laughs] Let me see what I can work out. Okay, what about regular movies?
V:
Well, I love real well made horror flicks. The best movie I've seen in a
while was The Sixth Sense. Mostly because I couldn't figure it out
until the end and when I finally did, it blew my mind. I also love that show,
Sex in the City on HBO.
Z:
Great. Thanks for the interview!
V:
Welcome.
