Z Bone Zone
Mr. J's Male Exotic Dancer Review
We went to Mr J's last night. At first we almost left as we arrived a little before 8:00 pm and the doormen didn't know what to do with us. As you know this is also a women's strip club (I didn't know) and we felt a bit uncomfortable with bikini clad dancers walking about and security guard that checked our purses and bouncers that leered at us.

But we stuck it out and were finally allowed in the room where the men would dance. I had been told when I had called 2 days prior that they served dinner, a full menu, and that it would be good to come early to get a good seat. Well not true. they had to drag a waitress from the women's side to serve us, (who was non-plussed at the thought of having to serve WOMEN) and the food was not what was exactly advertised.

The room remained empty until 9:00 (although I had been told the place would be packed as the show started at 9:00 pm) and when we tried to keep the seats at the stage we were told we could not as other parties had called ahead of us and were promised those seats. I had also been promised a good seat but when I told the waiter that, he said it was those air head bouncers that had told me that and they always get it wrong.

We wound up getting ok seats at the stage and wound up having a good time. The dancers were fun and we especially liked the lap dances they did after their stage show when they mingled with the crowd.

The bathrooms were gross though. Sounds picky but [it] is an important thing for us women and [could] have used some clean up and refurbishing. A matron would probably have been a good idea to the number of passed out women found there during the night.

Anyway, I would still go back there now that I know to call and speak with someone who knows in order to get a good seat and call them earlier and NOT to get there too early. 9:00 seems to be the best time. That seems to be when the women guests come and it seems less sleazy.

The male dancers put on a good show and I especially enjoyed the at-your-seat lap dance for those of us who don't want to get our jollies in front of an audience. Also there is no cover but the drinks are about $6 each ($3.50 for the soft drinks for us designated drivers).
