ENGNR1's Take on OC ASSC Meeting @ TJ's
14 Jan 1996 07:36:37
THE GROUP:
Yours truly was joined by lurkers TGreenwood, Mark, Vaughn9, Richard, plus
Doug Yie (sp???) (with friends) and Agent Special K (ZBones' star reporter).
We arrived during the last couple hours of the day shift at
TJ's, a shift filled with a
number of lovely dark-skinned women (China Doll is especially lovely) and
comely blondes. Amazing to find like-minded individuals (engineers, auditors,
government workers, etc.), clean-cut, well-groomed, Internet-savvy, non-raincoat
bearing men, enjoying the lively arts. We shared war stories and personal
recommendations (Tropical
Lei getting lots of favorable comments - sounds like that's my next
adventure).
Doug spoke of his frequent Houston trips and other adventures across this
great land (including shopping sprees with dancers), Special K waxed rhapsodic
about Star Strip (W LA)
and Fun House (he recommended
Carla), Mark was busy serving as a springboard for lovely bodies in the lap
dance pit. TGreenwood suggested that future meetings should start with dinner,
followed by heading to a strip club. I admit it would be kinda nice to do
a Houston-style shindig, 'xept the LA/OC clubs appear to not do that 2nd
floor "VIP" thing. Maybe we rent a hotel room and some dancers from a couple
clubs for a few hours? Perhaps a point for further pursuit.
Anyway, by 8:30 I had visited the ATM (no separate fee!) for the second time
and bowed out of dinner at Hooters, which Doug had proposed. Doug, his two
friends, and Vaughn were the durability champions, remaining after I made
my exit. Hope to see their posts, along with anyone else who was there.
THE CLUB:
Now, 'bout my first experience at TJ's. To sum up, nude stage dances, no
alcohol served, and the best $10 lap dances in Orange County, all in a relatively
small but comfortable club. Personal preference is the night shift girls
(at least Sat nite compared to Sat day, they appear to be rate about 6-8
during the day with one 9 and rate 7-9 at night). The dancers here have more
tattoos than virtually anywhere else, and they as a rule don't bother with
niceties such as going around to every person in the club after their dances
to squeeze a buck out of em. Unless you're at the rail, you pretty much have
to wave your $1 bill in front of them. The dancers as a rule also don't walk
up and sit down with you (although there were a couple exceptions in the
4 hours while I was there). They will just come right up to you, huckster
a lap dance, and if you say no, they'll go on to the next person. Unfortunately,
one of the lovely dayshift dancers who didn't bother coming up to me (instead
emerging from the back room only twice to handpick a couple military-looking
guys) was a woman (she rated the 9) who also dances at
Mr. J's whom I wrote a very
nice review of not long ago; she dances under a different name at TJ's. I
don't know whether it was she didn't recognize me when I was by the stage
or didn't want me to be spoiled by the heat of her dances here. She looked
quite hot.
THE DANCES:
Actually, for most of the girls on the stage, dancing is really stretching
the word; no pole on the single stage here..grope ones' self, writh up and
down, look at someone by the rail, and loosen up your nightie, G-string,
robe, or whatever. Sofas surround the club on all four sides, with an additional
row in back on two sides, generally the best places for the laps. There appeared
to be very few bouncers!! Of the Sat PM dayshift, I got to dance with Nicole,
who made me take my Felix the Cat cap AND my glasses off and then had me
bury my head between her legs (while she stood over me on the sofa), rub
my nose in her G-string, and then lowered herself so my face could rub up
her body, between her t*ts and up to her face. Hmmm. Special K enjoyed her,
anyway. Tom liked another blonde, Tammy ( I think that was her name).
The night shift dancers generally were nastier; ironically, the less silicon
on the chest, the better and more skillful and passionate the dance. Johnny
and Blake (that must be the new thing; guys names) were a combination of
friendly (before and after the dance) and nasty (a good deal of up and down,
side to side grinding and groping, with just enough finger touching on the
outside of my bulge to make it grow like a Chia Pet. Blake was a petite brunette,
dark-skinned and a NASTY dancer. Johnny, a petite, natural blonde also comes
recommended, but had some humongous tattoos on her back, as did many of the
dancers. Very strange to get used to. Mercedes (a stunning blonde with very
large but enhanced-looking breasts) had a pierced tongue, Nicole had pierced
nipples, someone else had a pierced labia, and most girls had a pierced navel.
COMPARISON with SAHARA and
Mr. J's:
In general, $7 gets you in the door at TJ's, $10 gets you a clothed,
full-contact, generally no-touch (except where she makes you) lap dance to
a full-length song. Its closest equivalent in Orange County is Sahara in
Anaheim, except the waitresses here are more pleasant (no pushing
sodas/O'Douls/water on you or the dancers) and they don't appear to be losing
their dancers as is Sahara. Many of them have been at TJ's for 3-4 years.
Although I would rate the women at Mr. J's better in attitude (friendly,
communicative, fewer tattoos and pierced body parts, and more women than
virtually any other club around here), the dances allowed at TJ's (with no
truncating of songs) makes it a better value, even with the $7 cover charge.
The other trade-off is seeing nude stage dances at TJ's versus the topless
dances, happy hour buffet and liquor served at Mr. J's.
