Z:
Where are you originally from?
V:
I was born in Lakewood, CA, and grew up in Cerritos, CA. I graduated from
Cerritos High School and went on to Cypress College.
Z:
What did you study in college?
V:
I studied Marketing and Law at Cypress. Someday, I hope to finish college
and get my Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
Z:
Do you remember the very first time you danced on stage?
V:
The first time I danced on
stage was when I auditioned for "The Sport's Club" in Redlands in September
of '97, 2 weeks after the club opened. A friend of mine worked there and
I remember the owner kept trying to get me to audition but I wasn't confident
on how to dance... sexy that is. I visited the club a couple more times before
I auditioned. After shopping for dancer shoes and a perfect outfit, I auditioned.
Z:
How did you feel?
V:
I was a little nervous, but not embarrassed. When I got up there and I got
lot's of attention and money, I knew, for a "ham" like me, this was the perfect
setting for me.
Z:
What type of music do you like to dance to?
V:
I like to dance to all kinds of music with the exception of country. I would
have to say it depends on a couple of things; my mood and more importantly,
the audience. I am an energetic dancer. I like to dance to fast and hard
types of music when making my rounds around the tiprail. After that, on stage,
I like it to be a little slower and sexier. The audience at Club 215, on
the weekends, seems to be very receptive to "hard-core" music such as
Korn, Tool, Sepultura, Rob Zombie, White
Zombie, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Rage Against The
Machine, Pantera and much more. So I give the audience what they
want!
Z:
What about when you're at home?
V:
After work and at home I usually listen to music that is a little toned down
from all the hype, such as Bush, Live, Everlast,
Seal, Jewel, Brandy, Sarah McLachlan and even
some Busta Rhymes and 2Pac. Hey, I'm a versatile girl. [Laughs]
Z:
What's the funniest thing that happened to you at a club?
V:
On stage, we do the Bachelor parties...
the customer sits on a chair in the middle of the stage. Then we move him
and the chair to the front of the stage for a group picture. Well, I was
trying to help this slightly intoxicated man to the front of the stage. So,
when he stood up, I slid the chair to the front and said, "come on babe."
He didn't hear me and sat back down. Only there was no chair, so he fell
on his butt... with the whole club laughing.
Z:
How about the nastiest?
V:
I have had a customer pass gas in front of me. Sad part is I don't think
he realized it was him.
Z:
That is nasty. Got any pet peeves?
V:
Snoring, bad breath, negativity, possessiveness and jealousy.
Z:
What do you like to do in your spare time?
V:
I enjoy playing with my two dogs, Ripley, a sharpei, and Kernal, a boxer.
I also enjoy going to the movies, doing any outdoor activities that involves
the sun, and I love taking long, hot bubble baths.
Z:
Speaking of movies, do you have any faves?
V:
Braveheart,
Austin
Powers,
So I
Married An Axe Murderer,
Twister,
Titanic,
City
of Angels, any movie with Nicholas Cage in it,
Clear
And Present Danger, any movie with Harrison Ford in it, and more
recently
The
Matrix, excellent flick-great special effects... and many more.
Z:
What about TV?
V:
My favorite TV show is The PJs. It's Eddie Murphy's new comedy on
Tuesday nights.
Z:
Where have you traveled to or where would you like to go? And why?
V:
I have seen a little bit of the United States. I have never been overseas.
Well, no further than Hawaii, which I visited twice. I would love to see
Japan, Germany and Israel. Japan for the culture, Germany for the history,
and Israel for the religious sentiments.
Z:
Are you attracted to men or women?
V:
First off I prefer men. However, I view women as appetizers and men as the
main course... sexually of course. I was just meant to be with a man. I relate
better to a man. I know his needs, goals, and desires. I romanticize the
thought of a man and a woman fitting together as one.
Z:
What type of guys do you like?
V:
A man who takes care of himself, all the way around, a man who is successful,
not necessarily well-off, and a man who can be sensitive yet strong. Confidence
is sexy. As for girls, I like a girl that's beautiful, petite, feminine,
and smells as good as I do.
