i've been to this place about two or three times. each visit is a disappointment. previous posts about crack whores were not exaggerating. most girls seems like they have a decent attitude, but occasionally...
the private dances in the back were terrible - no privacy, etc. i don't think this place will be around much longer (at least not with the same management)

I just wanted to pop my head in the Seventh Veil because I heard Motley Crue talk about the place before. I had no intentions of hanging around until I saw Daisy. That girl is the hottest girl I ever saw in my life. Staff was very nice also. Much better than any of the clubs in San Diego thats for sure. I've been to this club twice and both times I walked out.
The first time I went to this club with a few friends and we all look a lot younger than we are. What these bitches didn't realize was that our money was just as green as everyone elses.
The chicks had bad attitudes and were overall generally very cunty -- which is funny because they really weren't that hot.
The last chick we saw came out and started tapping her foot in front of us to get us to tip. She didn't even dance at all or have any pole skills! The straw that broke the camels back was when she started berating us in front of the other patrons. We gladly took our business elsewhere.
The second time I went was a year later in hopes that things had gotten better. They hadn't and I still have nightmares about the coked out whore that danced in front of me with what might have been a yeast infection. Totally disgusting.
Fuck this club. I left the Nasty Factor blank since I never stayed long enough to get a private dance.

O.K. I gotta give this place more props, they have done some more remodeling and it shows, more busier than I 've ever seen this place which wasnt hard to improve on, but the girs seem to have improved as well...

Holy sh*t! The club makes all these good changes but then I go in tonight and after watching this hot girl have air sex on stage got talked out of a lap dance!!!! What kind of manager in the VIP talks guys OUT of spending  ?? I gave her the cash I was going to spend, but that VIP Nazi has got to go! Since I been coming here more frequently a couple of girls asked me to post about them so here I go...
GIA - hot & sexy , cool personality, this girl is very sexy and when she is on all fours and is shaking her ass as she backs up across the stage is worth every dollar

Oops, sorry. Yeah, I guess I misunderstood the "nasty" rating. For the lap and couch dances, there is considerable contact, so I'll change it to a 4!
On a closing note, I wish I could've gone back there 1 last time before I had to leave, but I had a very early flight the next day on my last night, so I didn't get a chance to see if I could catch Asia again...*sigh* Oh well, maybe next time I'm in LA! ;)

Thanks for the review. You rated the club half a star on the "Nasty Factor" and I wanted to make sure what you meant by that. The nasty factor on this board is meant to be a good thing  ("mileage" in the lap dances) not nasty as in unfriendly behavior. The reason I suspected a misunderstanding is that your description of the laps you got seems quite positive.

I'm currently visiting LA with a buddy, and have previously lived in Irvine, CA many years ago. I was driving down Sunset Blvd. and came across Seventh Veil on our first night in town. A couple nights later, I decided to stop by to check it out for myself. But I went alone, and left my friend back at the hotel. This was also my very first strip club experience, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to "get my feet wet", so to speak, at a strip joint.
I loved it so much, I came back the next night w/ my bud and basically forced him to come along, lol. I told him he wouldn't regret it, either!
The prices are the same as stated below: $10 cover charge, with a $10 2-drink (non-alcoholic) min.
There's 4 different 'levels' of lapdances:
1 song topless: $30
1 song fully nude: $40
VIP:
4 songs topless: $100
4 songs fully nude: $150
As you enter, there's 2 stages, but apparently they only use one, at least on weekdays. The club has a very intimate feel, and is really quite small, which has the benefit of putting all patrons "up close and personal" to the dancers, with one row of chairs, and a second row of lounge seats against the walls.
All the dancers are extremely beautiful, but some seem generally more enthusiastic and will play to the patrons better.
For my very first lapdance ever, I chose as wisely as possible and went with the hottest lady there that night, which happened to be Gia. She is simply amazing. Very thin, natural, gorgeous curled hair, and looked about 5'6"-ish. I paid $40 for the 1 song nude lapdance, and had an incredible 'first time', although it ended as soon as the stage music cut off out front. But they were very cool about replacing my soda free of charge, after someone accidently threw it out during my lapdance.
When I came back the next night w/ my friend in tow, we got there kind of late, around 1:30am and I knew they closed at 3am on weekdays, but we still got a very good show, and it didn't matter till I found the girl for me that night, as Gia was off, unfortunately. But I also got a VIP pass from one of the other girls for a waived cover charge the night before, so I didn't have to pay that again, which rocked!
So, after I saw Asia onstage, I had to request her for my next lapdance. At first, I thought she was Caucasian, but after talking to her I found out that she is actually half-Caucasian, and half-Korean, which is one hell of a sexy mix, if you ask me! And I probably should have guessed from her name, too lol!
For this dance though, I opted to go all out, and decided to go for the $150, 4 song nude dance in a private, sofa-like lounge seat, where you lay down and they basically dry-hump you for about 15-20min. depending on how long the main stage songs go on for, and I guess also if the girl likes you.
We started talking and had an amazing convo the whole way through. When it was done, I even went for a second round! Crazy I know, but you only live once, right?!

I was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday night.
It has some nice looking dancers. Several had no eye contact with the customers while dancing which made them uninteresting.
Star, the goth girl, was pretty good and friendly.
There was a Asian girl, Thai, she looked nice I wanted to ask her for a dance, but she was spending most of her time with a group of black lebians, just talking. Oh well!
There was some other black dancer very light skin beautiful body figure.
The rest were Latins and some Eastern Europeans. They looked OK.
The only thing is that there is LOW mileage.
Has anyone tried the $100.00 deal?

man, that was a great review. all the details made me feel like i was there myself and i got a great sense of what the club was like, although i have never been there. its a shame that you dont come to LA regularly so that you could post more often about the various clubs in the LA area. if you ever visit again, be sure to leave another interesting and informative review.

Ok.. I was visiting L.A. and hadn't gone to any review sites. I drove down sunset and saw places like the body shop, etc.. all in "crowded" areas.. (and it's been my contention that the more people there are near the place, the less risque it is..) so, I kept driving.. found the 7th veil on sunset (and, not a person was around) - So, i figured it'd be worth a try.
I go in.. around 9pm I guess, pay the $20 cover (which includes two free drinks, no alcohol on premises), $5 for drinks after that, 8 ounce dixie cup, even if it's water. Tip the hostess, (do this, let it be seen that you know that tipping is what is supposed to be done!!)
The line-up : Sorry if I get some names spelled incorrectly. Ranked in order of preference (worst to best)

Star : Goth chick with killer body and great attitude. 5'6ish (again, shoes make it hard to tell) Not waifish, has all the right curves. Breasts looked (and when she pressed them to me) felt real. Pierced lip. Very reminiscent of bettie page (told her this, and she said she's competing in a look alike contest, so there)
She acted (key word, act, but it didn't feel like one) as if she was genuinely interested in me, which counts for a lot. Under other circumstances, I.e. not meeting in a strip club, which automatically gives me no chance, I would actually try to court this girl. Lapdance review. - Considering both times she danced for me she actually conversed with me during the dance (i.e. "we talked") AND the fact that she seemed intelligent AND sweet (even trying to cheer me up when I made an offhand comment about not enjoying single life) makes her a reason to want to go back to 7th veil (alas I will not be, as I don't have any reason to return to L.A.)
I know people won't believe this (or her if she actually READS her reviews) but she really sort of renewed my faith that you can have a pleasurable experience without feeling like it's ALL about the . Also, when I was paying for the dance at the counter (you don't pay the girls) I had one of my business cards out since it was in front of my cash (was not a ploy to try and give it to her) but she readily asked if she could have it, and TOOK it, which.. well, gives one hope!

Review of the club itself : I might be repeating some stuff here, but.. first..
Details : 7th Veil : Hollywood : Sunset Blvd.
Cover : $20, includes two $5 drinks, therefore making it $10 with a "2 drink minimum"
Bouncer : Ahh, I could have taken him!, But he was a cool dude who even was helpful about me making sure I wasn't gonna have a parking problem.
Owner/Cashier/Manager: Arabic by appearance, - (probably the reason for the name) seemed to look down on me in contempt
Hostess: Pretty herself, probably related to the owner (daughter) - Would have liked to see her dance too.
D.J. : Standard B-boy, -- sideways baseball cap, competent in his job, kept "reminding" us that the girls work for tips only (when at times, I was the only one there, and was tipping VERY WELL, even the girls would tell you that)
Mens room : Disgusting, yet oddly spacious..
Drinks : No booze of any sort: 8oz cup, filled with ice of course too.
Apparent rules:
While a girl is on stage, no other dancer can ask you if you want a lapdance.
Fully nude on stage
Bottoms intact at lapdance (behind curtain)
No touching rule in effect (although star told me my punishment if I broke the rule.. and..well, it would have been ok with me *wink*)
I behaved myself though, at most touching her feet while she was grinding on me to help stabilize her since we were "moving to the beat"
Prices: $40 to house (guessing some sort of split) for lapdance (but I got a 'deal') + whatever you tip the girl herself
"Theme room" - where I would have gotten to lay down : $100 (didn't go for it)
Total time in club: 5 hours
Total Spent, including two lapdance sessions (needed to let my heart rest after the first from star -- she's very energetic) ~200.00
As I left, the D.J. thanked me over the p.a. system for coming, and 3 of the girls thanked me for visiting (including the lovely star)

First time at 7th Veil

I was bored on Monday and saw this club 7th Veil. I thought I would check it out I had not seen any reviews on it. Well When I first got there I was not impressed there were some real dogs on the stage, but being bored I stayed a bit since I already paid to get in. I later discovered it was really a mixed bag. There are some gross dogs and some that are Ok looking, but there was one that just blew me away. She was a true goddess just flowing on the stage. I was totally mesmerized. She was tall had looong legs, just the right proportions, all I could say was wow. This was my first club but I would say even compared to those on the streets she smashed the competition a true 10 I mean really.
Well enough rambling.You should check out Reina she is just amazing more the cosmo girl next door type.

Believe it or not, but this club has the most gorgeous girls of all. I have been to many clubs such as Platinum, Star Strip, 4 Play, and Seventh VEil got the most gorgeous ones. Its not in the best area and might not be as popular as other clubs, but if you go there on friday or saturday night you'll see what I mean!!! Beautiful! Gorgeous!

i was there on a dayshift a while back and there was some overwheight mexican chick working there. she was tall and had kind of a pretty face but was too fat to be dancing. her hair was mangly too. anyways, she was dancing on stage and demanding tips when her stomache rolls were all over the place. We left without spending any because this chick was so rude. My friend went back a few days later at night and one of the girls told him her name was VONNA. the girl he talked to told him that she used to be a herion addict or something, and now everyone just hates her. Yes i agree summer is FANTASTIC. I also recomend Candy,Natalie,Desire, and a few others. Well the onter night i was their (Wednesday) not many people and not many girls, (7) to be exact. Most the girls that i talked to say they want to leave the place for there is a dwindling customer base. But i did see a good dance from Candy and she made my night wonderfull, as we exchange phone nubers and well get on soon.

Well i have to say i had a hell of a time here. I cant seem to remember the name of the blonde chick that gave me a lap dance, but she was GOOOD. The only thing i did not like was the extra 10 bucks you pay to go into the so called vip room.

went into the seventh veil the other night and had a ball. Beautiful, sexy, natural women. Especially loved Vonna, Marley, Venice, Jasmine, and Rockelle. Sexy and natural. Great laps, personality. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend this club if you're in the Hollywood area and wanna have some fun!! Also right around the corner, crazy girls for cocktails! Right ON!!!!

I came around from Crazy Girls, and went back quickly. This club was the stereotypical snatch bar. Pressure for tips, drinks, and dances was high. The place was dark and appeared clean, but?
The laps were offered continuously, and I didn't think I would stay long, but along came a dish that was pretty nice looking. When she offered a dance, I was ready to go. She was from Italy and spoke broken English, unless it was an act. But could she give laps!!!!! I stayed for several and had to beg off several other girls to leave. However, other than an older Mexican lady, the talent here was back alley. Cheap looking and acting. I would have figured most of these girls for hookers by the way they acted and looked. Its wonderful to look into brown stained G-strings? Wanna dance? Don't think so! I tipped every girl, but the rest of the place was awfully poor, maybe that was the reason for the "tudes".

I should have left as soon as I realized I didn't like the doorman. I didn't like the parking, the club, the dancers, or the lap dances. When I go out for this type of entertainment, I expect to spend some money. I don't have a lot of patience for guys who go to this type of place and sit on their wallet. The dancers here were not good looking, did a less than entertaining show, and were mercenary about hawking lap dances.
