I saw Dominoe's post last week so me and a friend of mine decided to cruise down here to see if it was open.
Yup, Sure enough Dominoe was right the club was open as we drove by last Thursday around Midnight, BUT ONLY 16 CARS INSIDE THEIR PARKING LOT, WTF!!!
So we pretty much assumed the place was DEAD!!!
Even with the $5 addmission price they were announcing here in advance and having a VH1 reality celebrity(somewhat) star as a feature dancer for the night it sure didn't help them at all.
It's safe to assumed most of those cars parked in their lot were employee's. (General Manager,DJ, Door Guy who recieves the  , Waitress, Bartendar, Floater-who counts the amount of songs,Feature dancer,and lets say another 7 dancers on the floor for this so called special Event).
That would be 14 cars right there and maybe 2 of those cars could have been the customers so we didn't bother to go in.
This club really is on life support. Someone should come in here and pull the plug THE PARTY IS OVER!!!!
I guess it's going back on hiatus for another 365 days fully CLOSED til the next Special Event in June 2010 LOL. Not sure as to why they even bother opening up or even bought this place from silver reign a few years back when their sister Club Spearmint Rhino-L.A. is just few blocks away.
Anyway not much of a review, Just thought I'd share.

Check out my post on 1/19/09 on Rouge. Nothing has change as I drove by here again this past weekend and looks like this place is history and are probably looking to sell it off to another sucker.
Looking at Wheels_2 recent post over on Ultimate 10 showgirls also located in the Downtown L.A. area they too went out of business as they recently sold the place off to club-RIO.

Not sure as to why the Rhino Corp. decided to buy this club from Silver Reign a couple of years ago when they already have another of their chains(SRLA) just a few blocks away from here.This club is located on Alameda and 15th street. I haven't been here in many months myself but have free passes from last time which they gave me. It's a smaller club than SRLA and the dance prices if I remember correctly they lowered them down to $30 nudes and the topless was still for $20. Very few girls work here and hardly any customers. I guess it was just a matter of time til they shut down as this club never was drawing in customers or ever showing a profit.

I didn't even know where this club was even though I frequent SRLA pretty often...why go to this club in the first place when you can walk down Figueroa and pick up free passes for SRLA after a Laker game (which I have done, and now have a huge stack LOL!).
Where is this place anyways in relation to SRLA?
What was the atmosphere, dancers, dances like? I'm guessing it was pretty similar to SRLA.

What happened to this place? I stopped by as little after midnight Wednesday. There were only four customers including myself. You would think there would be more considering Sams is only two blocks away. There were four girl and they were nothing to write home about. 4s on the 10 scale. I stayed for four and left. Two female customers were entering as I was leaving. The good thing was there was no cover and no drink requirement, which lets you know how bad business is. I used to love this about a year ago, when Zbone had that $5,000 contest. It was a good place to come after a game, or having some bad drinks at Sams. I have two buddies that love Sams, but I dont get it. I like a little less piss on the bathroom floor, and some towels to dry my hands. This place is comfortable like all corporate clubs. I really hope they turn the business around.

It appears that the club is open again if you go to their website, they have a featured dancer appearing this weekend. I never got to go when it was open the first time around but heard it was just like Rhino's, is that about right?

Went there last night it was closed. Thought that was weird don't know if it was just for the night or if the place is going out, but I will miss it if it is.
I've been there a few times and in the past the girls' attitudes were horrible, but the staff was always chill, letting you get in for free or giving you discounted laps if you buy them up front. This kept me coming back because I knew that if I strolled in at an off hour, with or without a coupon, I could park for free, watch a couple of decent nude pole dances, drop 5 bucks in tip, get a 15 dollar topless dance or maybe a 2 for 1 nude or more recently, they had something ridiculous on Tuesdays like two for one 10 dollar topless which, even with the songs cut was still almost 4 minutes for 10 bucks which, since the quality of the girls was still decent, was UHM.
Synopsis, I agree with the guy that works there, the girls that were/are left are not as pushy as the ones in the past and they are not all nasty (ranging from 5 to 8.5).
Go to this club before it dies if you can on a Monday or Tuesday to be certain. It absolutely kills the downtown Rhino with the free parking, lower cover, cheaper dances, and I think nicer, less pushy dancers with a nicer setting and the same good $5 drink selection (redbull and starbucks no extra charge).

Yes it is open 7pm-2am. Dances are cheap and girls aren't bad. but leaving because no one is showing anymore. $15-$30 topless, nude. and dances are NOT cut in half. Yes I work there, I don't care who knows. Since I work in this industry I am broke. If I went to strip clubs, which I don't because I am again, broke, I would come here. I hear a lot about bargains here this is a real bargain.
Monday-20 dollar vouchers for everyone
Tues. 10-20 dollar dances.
I have been to DVNH recently and the girls were gross and ghetto, that is the only one I can speak for. There are some decent girls here, again.

Friday was my 1st trip to RLA in a few months and I gotta say I didn't miss it. Girls are as pushy as ever to try to get you to dance with them. There was one occassion where I had just sat down after a dance from Chloe (highly recommended b/c she's got some cool tricks I had never seen from any previous dancers anywhere, but I can't go into detail) and another girl grabbed me by the wrist and tried to pull me out of my chair into the back. S*&t, let me rest a second! Anyway, also got a dance from Cynthia Slave, who had the "I only do nudes" attitude, which was probably one of the worst dances I've gotten. Too mechanical. A year ago this club was new and showed promise, but now its nothing but short songs, ROBs and sharks.
Think I'll spend my money at the Rhino again.

Beware of SR clubs!

I learned many years ago that the Spearmint Rhino mob knows how to put a club together and even place some hot dancers in the cast, but with the occasional exception of Blue Zebra, the L.A. area SR's are horrible clip joints, which includes both Rouge clubs. Very customer unfriendly in every possible way, huge dark stages which eliminate even the pleasures of simple voyeurism and any hint of intimacy, and club and dancers want nothing but to vacuum your wallet clean.
It is true that rewards can be obtained in some of these clubs, but at an expense that shocks the conscience. I think you'd have to be an independently wealthy 45 year old virgin to feel OK about spending what it takes to have a seriously enjoyable time in one of these clubs.
The Beatles finished off Abbey Road with a cautionary ditty re SR clubs..."And in the end, the love you make, should be equal to the money you take"...or something like that.

The Rouge is by far my favorite club in Los Angeles. Really sexy dancers who know how to put on a show. I've been lucky enough to have lap dances from the lovely Angelica, Bianca, and CeCe. Angelica is by far my favorite, such a sexy little brunette tease who knew exactly how to work it in private. As far as this club being for sale. I hope nobody bites. The management here has run this club into the ground. They are very incompetent. I would say half of the 1.6 million they are asking for, is more in the ball park and whoever buys it better make sure they include the parking lot with it, because that's how they drove Siler Reign out of business here. They owned the parking lot and they did not allow Silver Reign to use it. The current G.M. is some guy named Eric Plaque and has no clue on how to run a club. According to many of the girls there he's just bully who's full of himself. But from what I've been told by some of the girls there, that the prior G.M. was an incompetent boob also. Also fellas becareful on the many specials like 2 for 1's becaus they're ripoff's. Iv'e timed them and each songs are maybe 45 seconds to a minute long on there specials. I no longer frequent this club because they're very rude too the customers, and they try to nickel and dime you too death.

Went there today and man had a blast, the club has lowered the prices on its tops / nudes. $15 and $30 as opposed to those other socalled VIP locations.
The girls were of good quality, Madeline and Bella easy 7's across the board.
$5 bucks to get in on wednesday with a free drink and DVD to boot, it doesnt get any better!

I had a ball there on Wednesday. I went for lunch and wound up staying three hours! Don't bother. This place is terrible and has been ruined by the management staff here, especially the GM picked to run this place. . They have no clue about how to run this place. I understand the GM is gone and been transferred to another club, but the person in charge right now is still clueless, according to the girls. I guess he's some supposed big wig from the corporate office. I guess he was supposed to save this place, but apparently he has no clue about what he's doing either. I understand many of the girls have left it so bad here.

A dancer came to my club from here and said it was very slow. However, it might be slow to one dancer and decent to another. From a customer's perspective- Is it this a happenin' spot yet? I worked at Rouge Van Nuys for half a year, and yes the waittresses were topless to start but soon they changed it. Hey,
I've been coming here on and off since this place turned
into Rouge. Since business is really slow for this place
now, they've cut the song time way back to get more money
out the of few customers that walk in here. I've timed
the songs. Average "single song dance" is about 1 min. per
song The specials are about 40-45 secs per song. What a ripoff. There are too many other strip clubs that don't rape thair customers. I'll still come for the cool atmosphere, but I'm not paying for any dances anymore.

Well, I came here last friday night and to my suprise it wasn't pack at all. This was my first time coming at night, So I pretty much expected to be pack.
