Showgirls is OFFICIALLY closed following numerous neighborhood complaints of prostitution and of the club having nude dancers when it was only licensed for bikini. There is now a prohibition against operating an adult business at that address, thanks to City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo and Councilman Dennis Zine. These men stated that they are on a campaign; who knows which club will be next?

The club at which he works is the size of a postage stamp, it's true; however, the last time I was there (a month & a half ago, true), there were some cute girls there. I've also seen one of the truly psycho bitches of all time that have been run out of other clubs there, too, though, a skinny, fake boobed California hair girl whose bloodstream would make an interesting side project for a student pharmacist or chemist.

The reason he does this is cause he is a employee at a nearby strip club which is the frisky kitty located close by to this club. He is trashing this club as much as he can so that it doesn't take away from business from his club which is very close by. It could be true like he says that showgirls sucks since I have never been there and that it's a dangerous area because of gangs, But surprisingly why doesn't he talk shit about Frisky Kitty and the gangs at his club since it's located in the same street. I for one have been to Frisky Kitty and it sucks. very small club and the lap dance area is not private at all and the bouncers see you at all times and you can't touch the girls so it's not worth showing up and spending money there also. So as far as SHOWGIRLS AND FRISKY KITTY GO THEY BOTH SUCK and Vince Fox(Mr.West) grow up and stop bashing a club thats already dead, and I for one will never show up at Frisky Kitty ever again especially when management is as chidish as you guys are, and your girls are not that great there either. The best clubs for girls and dances are Spearmint Rhino Downtown, Strip Joint and the Jet Strip. P.S., Look for a future review from my take at The Frisky Kitty.

Was passing through Reseda (god help me) really late sat night and cruised by about 2:00am (LA Weekly said they closed at 4:00am) One car was parked in front however there were no lights on out front but there were handwritten signs all over indicating they were hiring and listing they're cover. I drove around back, thought there might be another entrance, what I mistake, I have never been so fearful for my life. Dark, creepy area.

Date: 1/26/2002 7:40pm From:   mrstud Subject: improved showgirls two months ago i went to showgirls. i have to say they were not that great, but about one week ago i came in on a week day at about ten. to my surprise there were a good amount of customers, and preety looking girls, i would say about eight to ten girls were working. i had not expected to get a dance but a beautiful woman by the name of amber sat down and started to talk to me. she was tall with light hair, and light eyes, and a models figure. imediatly i new i would have to get a dance. i got a vip dance in a private room which cost me 60 dollars plus a tip of course, but was well worth it because it included a private room, six songs, and of course she was nude. the dance was great and later i got one more dance from her but this one was only one song but cost only 15 dollars. i will definitly go back and to all readers i recomend amber with a 10 and a half Club Dancers Attitude Nasty Factor

We are former employees of the Frisky Kitty who both quit because of the way it's run. With that in mind please do not take what J777 (Jamal) says seriously, he is only upset. We know about all of the bad rumors (some true & some not)and we know that the club has not been up to it's full potential in the past. For this I am very sorry. 1st off I would like to let everyone know that this has all changed and we are in the proccess of expanding. We ARE NOT closed. In fact we are doing better than ever thanks to some loyal customers and new advertising. We now offer a low $10 cover charge which includes your first drink. We have hired many new beautiful dancers within the past couple of days and the club is CLEAN. We have a gorgeous waitress and a DJ who knows what he's doing. An armed security guard and 2 managers (I'm a little proud of myself) that kick ass. I would like to assure you that the club has changed and I am asking you to give us another shot. They were operating illegally without the proper license, the managers, dancers, and customers got sited. Poor management, vise and competition got them shut down !!! I went with my friend to Showgirls, for 1 1/2 hours no body else walked in there, we were the only two, we were spending money, tipping and getting dances. then we started to talk to one of the dancers, all she talked about is how the management made them use the kitchen as a dressing room that is full of rats and how she likes to feed them cheese, and she said we were raided by vise on Friday night @ midnight, are you one of them ? Then the girls started to leave. Then the manager said you guys have to leave, we are going to close it was around 11:00 pm and he was very rood. We tried to have a good time, but they kicked us out, he called security like we were criminals, and while we were leaving the dancer asked us to bring cheese with us next time, what a fofo, she really thinks that we will back. what a fucking experience. they are none professionals, gang of idiots. According to their last waitress Saphora who quit and ran in the middle of her shift when she heard a customer saying "I am going to my car to get my gun" It is the wild wild west in there. The smoke of the gun does the talking. that is two days ago, and the day before Vise was there again. If they have to back them up, because they are in RED. That is fine, but, who long they are going to operate illegally ? And, What will happen when their day in court comes ? One more thing they hired 15 year old dancer, her name is Summer. Child abusers. The new Manager said I fired her, why the old manager did not do that, and he knew how old she was ???!!! Low lives.

Now I wonder how they clean the cups, and I do not want to imaging how they have the guts to serve the customers drinks in cups that is not sanitized. If you remember you the ones who started to post bad reviews about us, and you left us with no choice but - to force us - to post about your club, with the only difference you post lies, we post facts. Now, your manager stated that your club returned in three months $ 400, do you call that (money), for a couple of kids maybe, and I might disagree with that, so far we know you definition of is not the same as our dancers think, some of them make at least twice as much in one shift, and if you do not believe me, come in and count their dances yourself. that is not talking about stage . If your club makes in three months $ 400, could you tell us how many dancers worked in those 3 months, and how much each of them made ?? Are we talking Cents now, or we got nothing to talk about ?!?!?! Please leave us alone, we have what it makes our dancers happy, that is what it counts, one more thing, we do not get or ask for sexual favors. You quit,. Good question what is $ 10 dance ? $ 10 dance is fully clothed, they are trying to pull your leg, you can see clearly it is a scam. I went there yesterday, the place was closed, they did not pay their electricity bill, also the trash behind the building has not been picked for three months, the place stinks, also they did not pay their security co. for two months, also everybody works for tips only no wages, I do not know if it is legal, they do not pay taxes, God knows if they pay their child support ? these guys work for free because they can not find work anywhere else, by the way, only the old manager is gone because he posted on this web site that "this club is going no where" and his post still there until now, I do not know why they lie? I know one of the dancers there told me "I was there last Mon. all night not even one customer walked in there" What best dancers, you got the ugliest, the fattest, the ones can not find work anywhere else. This club full of trash, lies, rejects, staff who do not know what to do with their lives and not to forget their scams like $ 10 song, you can see for yourself, they think we are stupid What XXX prone stars, can you afford to call them ? Date: 7/31/2001 1:37am From:   Summit Subject: Not impressed at Showgirls I stopped in about 11:30 Wed night. Crappy looking place. There were 4 patrons and 6 dancers. There were no extemely hot ladies; 5s-7s. Attitudes were good but the lack of customers seemed to be getting everyone down. Only one girl was in her early 20's, and inexperienced. On the other end of the scale, Terry did the only pole work of the night. She said she was from Vegas. Stacie (?) had huge fake ones, that otherwise wouldn't have attracted me, but the pickings were slim. Songs were cut moderately, and the girls seemd to have much sway with the DJ ("Play the whole song. I like this one.") Laps were fine... nothing terrible, nothing really great either. Overall I was disappointed. Considering the other clubs in LA, I have no reason to return to this one. Club Dancers Attitude Nasty Factor

It seems that some people on this board enjoy playing childish games, I for one hate them. The above review is very biased. I am not sure if this person is either a ex-employee or our competition just trying to make us look bad in fear of loosing their clientle. As far as everybody knows, this club got closed for three reasons, and the main reason is one dude got jealous because his girl friend dancer was giving a dance to a customer, and he did not like that, so, he opened to be exact cracked in half's the customer's head, the dude is a gang member. 2nd reason A.B.C. violation. 3rd, the manager got too busy with the dancers inside the dressing room they forgot about the customers, you do not even see them on the floor. Check the records. Anyway for now, I went there Fri. night, only 1 customer and 2 dancers, and they did not put anybody on stage, so I left in 5 min.. The club needs massive remodel, gang area, no parking, 3 employees only, mgr., DJ, and door man. I do not know if the security officer who was standing outside with the gun works there or not. My friend went there on Sat. night, and he told me, only 1 customer was there, and also 2 dancers. If you do not believe me, go see it for yourself. Club Dancers Attitude Nasty Factor
