This club will shut it's doors on September 6th. The club owner did have stress yes, But would have still have fought the city til the very end if he had too. The city made him an offer he couldn't refused that is why he agreed to sell. Not bad for an owner who bought the property some 5-6 years ago for only $375,000 and now stands to make $5.2 Million dollars out of it from the City.

Passed by this place dozens of times, finally got a chance to check it out.
The first thing that should be mentioned is that there is a $10 cover and a 1 drink minimum walking through the door, so basically entrance is going to put you out $17 automatically. By drink, I mean soda or juice--no alcohol is served here.
Side note(1): I would not recommend drinking the sodas or water here unless bottled, as it tastes like they use unfiltered tap water in the drinks.
Side note (2) Even if you come in 10 minutes to close, they WILL charge you 10$ cover. Usually able to print out free passes online at their website, check that before you go.
Going into the club, there isn't really much to it. Dark area, minimal lighting. One decent sized square room, with all the seats centered around the stage in the middle. The chairs are pretty cushy, and against the wall are booth seats; which are nice, but nothing out of the ordinary for today's standards.
All lap dances are Bikini only. Dances are 20$ or they have 6 lap dances for 120$/ 5 for 100$ for VIP. Often have buy 2 get 1 frees (3 for 2s).
The Dance area, is basically a darker area with a long booth sofa against the wall. I personally don't like this kind of setup because you can basically see all your neighbors getting their dances, if it's packed there isn't as much space, and there's less hanky panky. Now, VIP might be a different story...but I didn't find any girl worth blowing 120$ on.
Songs vary, the longest ones are 3 minutes and the dj will announce those. In general the songs feel pretty short in my opinion, but they always do.
Girls: All young, no oldies. I'd say the average age is around 26 here. I think out of the 8 girls that were there, only one had implants, the rest are natural. I'd say face wise, most of the girls would rank about 7-8. Most girls were caucasian and latina, thin, small booties and A cups. There was a black girl there who did stand out on stage though, really knew how to shake her money makers (code name for booty). Didn't get to dance with her, but she might be the one to check out based on her stage dancing abilities.
What I liked about the girls there was the attitude. Didn't get pressured, no bitchiness, and they were friendly. Not yet spoiled by those old rich guys. Hence the 3.5.
Will I be back? I'm hoping I just went at a bad time.
I might consider giving it another chance on the weekend, although, the whole cover charge and drink minimum and bikini only deal is kind of weak. You can still get good dances with bikini, don't get me wrong, but I can't think of much of a reason to recommend this one over other clubs yet.

First Time at Taboo La Habra

This is the first time hitting up Taboo not knowing what to expect on a Friday night. Got in for free with the passes printed on their website. Still had to pay $6.50 at the door though for a 1 drink minimum. Got in and sat down with my buddy on some pretty comfortable chairs. Looked around and scoped out the talent, and didn't really see one that was like "wow, I have to get a lap dance from her." There were a few cute ones, a few on the heavy set, and a few alright ones. Not too many girls there that night, I think it was about 12 total.
The dancers on stage dance fully nude, but the lap dances are only bikini dances. $20 for bikini dance. The club does specials throughout the night 2 for 1 bikini dance, $40 for 3 songs and a free T-shirt, and 5 songs for $100 VIP specials.
I got lapdances from both Sasha and Barbie. Both had great attitude and were willing to give me 2 for 1 even though the club was not running the special at that time. Sasha was very cute and has a nice round rack and booty. Barbie is a tall blonde with a perfect ass! Both gave me great dances with some decent mileage.
My buddy also got dances from both of them and also enjoyed them. He also got a dance from Cream and Shania. He told me Cream was awesome also with a nice round rack and booty like Sasha. Cream gave him some decent mileage. Shania is a cute girl but did not give up any mileage at all.
So if you ever get a chance to visit this club, I do recommend getting the free pass from their website, and get dances from Sasha, Barbie, and Cream.

This club really sucks. Managment cannot keep the dancers, because there is no business. This club is usually empty. The dancers believe in..."no money no honey" and just quit. All the hot dancers have left. The only remaning dancers are sub-par fat cows. There is more life in a cemetery!

There are definitely fewer customers at Taboo than at other clubs, HOWEVER, most of the customers that come to Taboo are there to spend some money and get out. There are hardly any guys that stroll in with there $20 and expect to sit there for hours.
At least that's the way it used to be about a year and a half ago, when I was a DJ there.
The girls have always been awesome at Taboo. They are always down to earth and are worth the money.

I went to this place on Friday afternoon and it was dead. this club is the worst place to get any mileage. The club has the fattest dancers I have ever seen. Every dancer is at least 30 pounds overweight. It is a big club, but it was totally empty. The only way this club will make it is by hiring some cute dancers, instead of the fat cows they have now.
