9th Street rocks!!! I have been going there for a long time. You would only know about this place if a friend referred you or you got lost and stumbled across it. Its located in the Long Beach harbor by Pier B (Toyota terminal). The location alone makes it worth going.
Drinks are cheap in the bar/restaurant area (a good thing!), then you get hosed when you go in the back room (prices doubled+). Food here is great.... Steak and eggs are recommended.
Girls... arrrrrggghhh. There are some hot girls from time to time. There are few ugly ones too. I would give the club an overall 6 to the looks of the girls. They get a 9 for customer service though. Most of the girls are very friendly and do not pressure you to dance or buy drinks.
Layout: 1 main stage with rail, brass pole and swing ring. 1 small area for lap dances(actually its a cushioned, circular restaurant booth minus the table). Geezers corner: Corky and Friends hangout...
Lap dances are $20. Not to many dances occur as the $20 rate applies to one song. $10 per song would probably step business up with the more desirable women. Some of the beginners are definitely not worth the $20 unless you just want something decent to look at for 2 minutes..
This is an experience for the adventurous. Make sure you bring $5 to get in the back room. It is possible to survive a night at the 9th for under $40... If you want to do something different, come to the 9th Street. Tell them t77 sent you...
