In the early morning hours of Thursday, November 18th, a fire reported as
originating in a storage area caused an estimated $350,000 damage. As of
this report, the club is closed and the origin and cause of the fire are
yet to be determined. There is some doubt in club circles that Caligula XXI
will ever reopen as its ownership has been engaged with city officials in
a long running legal battle over zoning restrictions and occupancy permits.
This will be an excellent opportunity for the anal repressive government
bureaucrats and zealous district attorneys to gain the upper hand. A gem
in the bright world of topless entertainment is missing this evening. Let's
hope it burns brightly again soon!! I'll keep you posted.

Caligula XXI is a moderately upscale club with an excellent reputation in
the Dallas area. It is one of a very few clubs that regularly has featured
performers. On my most recent visit the "feature" was Dyanna Lauren
(www.dyannalauren.com). She is
a 5'6", 38DD-23-33 former Penthouse Pet and porn star. One thing I like about
Caligula is that they don't increase the cover on nights they have features.
Check out their web site for a free admission coupon. There is abundant parking,
both valet and self-serve. The servers are plentiful, fast and friendly.
There are usually 40 to 60 house dancers and sometimes as many as 75 on big
nights and usually never less than 25 dancers on "off" nights. You will find
all shapes, sizes and "looks". There was a nice mix of naturals and silicone.
Definitely something for every taste from the blonde "girl next door" to
dark "Goth" beauties.
The club is well laid out with several bars, seven stages, attended rest
rooms, partitioned seating areas (to create intimacy in a relatively large
club), and numerous other amenities. The décor follows and obvious
Roman theme as fitting its name, but it could best be summed up as opulent.
Don't let "up scale" scare you away from this place. Surprisingly, you can
have a very good time for a moderate price if you so choose.
One of my favorite Caligula dancers in Isabel; one of those dark "Goth" beauties.
She is bright, friendly and a "high contact" lap dancers. Another standout
is Hillary, an "enhanced" blonde who while on the quiet side is charming
and warm. She has only been dancing in Dallas for a few months, she reports,
and has yet to develop a contact style, but I still enjoyed her company and
dances. You don't want to miss Carrie; an absolutely beautiful blonde with
a magnificent set of "man made" melons. She is an entertaining companion,
not pushy, and makes you think you are her only customer for the evening.
Let's just say you don't want to miss her laps. When she dances, you think
you are in the "house of friction". She is an accomplished "entertainer"
who ensures her customers leave well satisfied. I was impressed when, as
she was dancing for me, the song was cut short and she continued the dance
all the way through the next song. Other notable dancers are Cheryl, Dominique,
Jasmine, Jessica, Donna and Kelly Lynn.
