Club BeBe is an interesting place to say the least. After spending an evening
checking out various clubs, I was headed home but decided to make one last
stop at Club BeBe. Man, was that a mistake! Upon arrival, I was informed
that there is no self-serve parking. All parking is VIP and cost $10. Upon
entering I was charged a $10 cover. I'm now out $20 and I haven't even made
it inside yet! Finally, before being allowed to enter, the biggest bouncer
I've ever encountered frisked me for a weapon. If I'm lying, I'm dying!!
In over thirty years of patronizing gentlemen's clubs, topless club and just
plan ol' Titty Bars, I've never been searched. It was a first!
The club was so small and well lighted that I could read the tattoos from
across the room. Not at all conducive to intimate lap dancing. The result,
I observed, was nothing but tame and lame air dances. And by the way, beer
was $1 more than I had paid all night.
The music was "cranked to the max". So loud that I had to put my mouth to
my server's ear just to make her understand my order.
The dancers for the most part were 5's to 7's. They generally danced well
and were smiling and friendly, but it was impossible to have any type of
conversation. The DJ's words were so distorted that I did not catch a single
dancer's name.
Whoever owns and runs this place knows abolutely nothing about how to run
a gentleman's club. If they read this, take my advice and check out the other
clubs around town and make wholesale changes. All in all; it was a disastrous
ending to what had been a great evening.
