Club Reviews

Jacklyn Lick's Introduction

I have been dancing in clubs for 13 years. Don’t bother trying to do the numbers on the age thing. I have never been one to follow the rules. When I started dancing, we were paid. It wasn’t a lot, but the clubs would pay us anywhere from $5 to $10 an hour plus our tips. Giving money to a club and lap dancing was unheard of. So, when the clubs turned to lap dancing and dancer extortion, I went on to owning my own bachelor party agency in Oregon called The Lick Sisters.

We went on tour featuring at strip clubs all over the world, and eventually ended up in California, where I remained to do films and occasionally feature dance. I do a number of different shows, having a professional dance and movement background, and a lot of balls, I do fire eating shows, candle shows, blacklight and body paints, swallowing bananas whole, and whatever other audience shocker I can come up with.

It’s so much fun to truly entertain people. In the first half of my dance career, I wasn’t even allowed to hang out in the bar. Being 18 (ahem), I was allowed to dance, but I was not allowed in the bar at all. I was only allowed in the dressing room and on the stage. They sold hard liquor and full nudity, so I wasn’t allowed to interact with the customers at all. The only way to project was to do it on stage.

So when I was allowed to lap dance, I found it a lot of fun to be able to interact with the customer, but what I really hate about it is the hustle. I just hate hustling. Now, I do enjoy feature dancing, because I don’t feel pressured to hustle for dances. I’m paid to be there, and I’m paid to do my shows, and when someone gets a lap dance, it’s just a bonus. I’m able to have a lot of fun with it.

But, what I’ve found with clubs where I have to pay to work there, or to be a ‘house dancer’, I think it’s tough. If the club rips the dancers off, then that means the dancer has to rip the customer off to even make it worth her while. Not all pay clubs are like this though. Some of them can be gold mines.

So….. how do you know which club to work at? When you call a club to try to work at it, they are vague on what exactly you have to pay. So, what are you going to do? Go to each and every club and audition and dance, and find out? Well, yes. That’s pretty much what I found to be the only choice.

So, I decided to write these reports. I also have a team of girls. They are my Strip Club Cuties. (And they are hot, hot, hot, I might add!!) They send me reports from clubs either anonomously, or not. What ever they want. If you would like to be a Strip Club Cutie, or would like for me or one of my Cuttie’s to come review your club, send me an email at jackie@jacklynlick.com.

Love,
Jacklyn Lick
