Night I Danced at Cheetah's
(Las Vegas, NV):
Tuesday, May 13, 2003 from 3pm to 9pm.
Nudity:
Topless. You must wear TWO g-strings in Las Vegas.
Drinks Served:
Full bar. Very good. Tip for dancers: If you order a drink in your street
clothes, they charge a better price. If you are dressed for on the floor,
you get charged full price for the drinks.
Cover Charge:
No cover charge during the day when I was there. Not sure what it is for
the evening.
Atmosphere of Club:
Very spacious, very dark, but, clean.
Dressing Rooms:
Dressing room is huge. Tons of lockers for you to put your stuff in. They
require you to buy one of the house locks for $7.
Feature Dancers:
No feature dancers.
Quality of House Girls:
High quality. The girls were hot, hot, hot. Some of them had a bit of an
attitude with me when they found out I was an adult film actress. One
blonde in particular seemed to be possessive over a customer of hers I was
evidently sitting with. She sat on his lap and stuck her tongue down his
throat. Bonus for the customer!
Stage Dancing:
You do two songs on the big stage, and then two songs on the little stage.
You only go up on stage once, maybe twice at the most. There is another
large stage that they don't schedule dancers on. You can go up on that
stage when ever you feel like it.
Lap Dancing:
Lap Dancing: During the day, lap dances on the floor are $10 and in the
VIP room, they are $20. After 7pm, all dances are $20. Very reasonable.
Club Features or Specials:
No real features or specials.
What I Paid To Work There:
This is pretty good. For a morning shift (which can run anywhere from 3am
to 3pm), you pay $30. You have to stay for 6 hours from what ever time you
get there. The day shift (which runs from 1pm until 9pm), you pay $50. I
worked the day, so I paid $50. For the night shift (which runs from 9pm
until 5am), the fee is $65. The cool thing is, you don't tip the DJ, you
don't tip the managers, it's not allowed. You can tip the house mom, which
is well worth it, because they actually feed you! The house mom is in the
dressing room. During the day, she has an entire meal there for you to
eat. Salad, pasta, chicken and some other snacks. You tip her whatever you
want for this. The night house mom had hard boiled eggs, chicken,
coleslaw, fresh grapes, fresh veggies, and tons of other stuff to eat. I
have never been in a club that did that!
Show Me The Money:
I made a total of $304 for the day. I paid $50 to the house. That comes to
$254 net for 6 hours, which is approximately $42 per hour. The $50 tipout
is about 16% of gross.
My opinion:
This is a good club. The customers are happy, the atmosphere is relaxed,
and it doesn't feel like a huge hustle. There is just plenty to go around
from what it seems like. Keep in mind, I am not a very big hustler. I come
from the old school of getting paid to dance. So, I don't hustle very
hard. It was very easy to make the money I made, and if a girl is a really
good hustler, I'm sure she could do way better. The guys just seem to buy
lap dances. Very few of them said no to me. And when you look around the
club, many of the guys were getting lap dances. From a dancers point of
view, this club is very reasonable, and the management was very good.
