question.Z Bone is the nickname a dancer friend of mine gave me many years ago. I live in sunny Los Angeles, California. Even though LA is not known for the best strip clubs in the U.S., we have our fair share of good ones. I've been going to strip clubs for decades and Los Angeles strip clubs since the early 80's. When I first started, I was a newbie wanting to find adventure and excitement. Now, I'm a seasoned professional who is somewhat jaded by the scene. It takes quite a show to get my juices flowing these days. After a while, most dancers look the same. It's all a blur. Without exaggeration, I believe I have met hundreds of dancers and have dated more than a few. I am friends with a dozen or so, have had a few dancer girlfriends and a handful of dancer roommates at my "Stripper Hotel". I also associate with many employees of strip clubs (bouncers, DJs, and floaters) as well as several managers and owners. They know who I am and what I'm about. I can see things from their point of view as well as a customer's point of view. I have seen clubs built, and clubs closed down. I have danced on the stage of several strip clubs, one while it was open with customers and made $6 from the dancers. I taught dancers how to do floor work and high mileage lap dances. However, I can't do pole work. I've tried. I have testified in a criminal case involving strip club owners and workers. During the trial, the DA asked how many strip clubs I had been to. I wanted to sound conservative to the jury, so I replied, "Oh, about a dozen or so." I heard an audible gasp. The DA then said, "So would you consider yourself a strip club expert?" I replied, "Yes." As physicist Niels Bohr once said, "An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." Over the years, I've been a regular in many clubs and 86-ed from a few. Officially, I am not 86-ed from any clubs right now. However, I am more welcomed in some and less in others. So when you read my rants, keep in mind who I am. What's true for me may not be true for you. Always measure and compare your own experiences with others. Don't just take my word for it. So get out there. Check it out. It's waiting for you.
