[GreenDog]-->I don't know how the Ghost of Alan Malamud feels, but I love Benn's ramblings. However, we'll have to agree to disagree on this particular topic.
I go to a club to relax and enjoy myself. To me, that means beautiful women, great music and a pleasant atmosphere. All things being equal, if a dancer picks out songs that I like, I'm usually inclined to tip her an extra dollar or two. I may even start lip synching myself. Some dancers seem to enjoy this and we'll maybe even end up audibly singing to one another during her set. (I particularly like it when we yell the lyrics from "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails to each other: "I wanna fuck you like an animal!"). It seems to me that it has never failed to energize the performer on stage to see someone like me getting into the music that she enjoys. (After all, she picked the tunes.) So, I say, shake your groove thing, shake your groove thing, Benn, Benn, show 'em how we do it now . . .  |
