The valet ("George" or "Jorge") at this club stole a dancer's ID, valuables and articles of clothing from her car--after disappearing with her car keys for 6 hours on Wednesday evening (10/26/2011). The cops were summoned and took a report yesterday but the criminal genius has no evidence against him besides the obvious circumstances. Even dope boys have complained before about their stashes being lighter after this guy takes their keys and parks their rides, lol. Seems like loco business for a working class latino bikini bar, but the place can draw a crowd. Felt like walking away as I did last time I stopped by, but feeling stupid, my wingman and I sucked up the cover charge and walked in anyway - to a sparsely crowded club but some undeniably interesting talent along with the usual 7557 Sumo Dancer crew. What the hell, a very good time broke out over a couple of hours with my 2 favs from Guadalajara, so I don't regret paying the cover, but I still think this is club suicide - maybe they can change the name to that. All but one of the dancers I talked to said the cover was killing their business and they would be looking for other venues even if it means they gotta let the beaver out and throw a little cochino into their lap dances. If it goes this way they might perhaps change the name to Club Sumo after all the flacas relocate. But still, hard to believe but I'm still enjoying this club where the girls stay fully clothed and security has me handcuffed for laps. After walking away from 7557 we dialed up the RRB and saw Luna was working at DV. I was a DV regular way back in the day but quit for many years. Became amigos with Luna at VIP and so now I stop in at DV now and then to practice my spanish with her while holding her tight! And with it being a full moon last night, I guess it was destiny. We had a great time at the Vu, but not because of any dances I had except for a couple with La Luna. My vet's instincts abandoned me and I ended up getting crap dances from 3-4 dancers - crap for a jaded old perv but maybe not for a rookie or a domestically challenged perv trying to behave. Wanted to hit adorable Dazzle but she was hiding all night. Super cute Kitty basically turned me down - don't think that's ever happened before. Told me she doesn't go topless when she laps. I took that as a rejection. If she's on the level which I doubt, she was at least telling me to expect minimum mileage if I took her for a "bikini" dance. Dropped over last night with a friend to discover that they've been imposing a $10 door charge on Friday and Saturday nights for about a month. Sorry, not about to pay cover charges to enter a bikini bar which makes a nice living selling booze at 500% markup. This represents raw greed to me and the club isn't so damn crowded on non-fight nights that they need to weed out the cheap charlies so the paying customers have a place to sit. For me, cover charge in SoCal = Panochita on stage and a nice scrotum massage in the lap dances. The place is doing well and I'm happy for that and it has been pretty decent when I've come in on a few Sunday nights in recent months (see reviews on ZBB). But we gave them some fodder for changing their policy and took the bucks we would have spent there over to DVNH. It's pretty cool if you don't mind a working class Latino/Chicano scene. To me, it seemed kinda like a sports bar meets a Latino dive bar meets a bikini club. There are some decent looking chicks. All scantly clad and friendly for the most part. Beers aren't too pricey, $5 for an import. everyone there seemed to be minding there own business and having a good time. I was approached by a couple of girls, but the one that caught my eye was a Chinese girl named LD. She has a petite frame, a tiny accent, and a sweet demeanor. At the VU the upselling Sucks big time, and the drink hussle at the Rhinos - Sucks just as much! Plus all the Friggin rules of what you wear and what you can't wear! What I just don't get is how guys complain about paying $20 to get into DVNH or SRVN, butt in reality every dance you do you give almost 1/2 to the club. The dancers have to tip out! Not to mention to the bartender, DJ and sometimes the floaters, so your goes where? Not at 7557! The girls pay a fee to work, and keep what we give them - Simple! Same thing at Nicolas in East LA, we have a blast going there, it's a bit of a drive, full bar, topless stage dances and Bikini Lap dances!!! The Laps are off the charts! So find the smaller clubs, save your and cum back for another day! Now there is no cover charge to get in, and $10 buys you a full song (3 1/2+ minutes long), the bouncer/security won't bother you unless you are too obvious. I had lap dances with a cutie named Mariah, angel face and knockout body, I left with a big smile, I am also tired of the Vu's and Rhinos and due to the economics this is an excellent option. Food and full bar drinks available is another plus. I think Friday night about 6-9 is best because a lot of chicas work here then for the after-work payday crowd. The attitudes of the dancers are okay but I agree they are sometimes not too motivated. During these hours, they at least try to keep the stage show going. The real bitch is the parking is five bucks! I don't pay it, but look for a safe place on the street either in front of the club or one block south in the industrial area west of Woodley. Just don't park there too long! I'd bet ReadyMan is a shill - lots of signs of that in *his* post. What stands out most is the comment that there were lots of attractive dancers on a Tuesday afternoon. I'll check out a mid-week weekday myself asap and apologize if I see a decent working cast on hand. But based on my experience over several years of coming to this club, I call bullshit! Most of the dayshifts I've seen have either been completely devoid of dancers, or there were a few generally unpleasing ones around, albeit providing good companionship if you are open minded about who you're hanging with. I like this club - really I like the club more for what it used to be and could be again. I started coming here along with sister club Alameda Strip in South L.A. because I subscribe to latinas - the less assimilated and less English speaking the better. So these two clubs were the places to go. The laps are pretty damned good for $10 both in quality and length, but mileage can be severely limited depending on who is working security or how much heat the club is taking. I went to the club late Sunday night for the first time in months. There was an OK number of lookers, including a couple of cute asians - but the stage was empty for a full hour after I arrived despite dancers walking around with nothing to do. I come to this club for latino atmosphere, but more and more that means L.A. cholo and not Mexico or latin america. The gringo DJ played mostly aggressive hip hop and reggaeton. During better days at this club you'd here more latino music - cumbia, salsa, latin pop and yes, norteno. Now the ugly sounds are taking over - fine if you like the shit but not what I want to hear in a club that is supposed to provide south of the border atmosphere. AS has done a better job sticking to the program and it is a much more cheerful place, with generally more chicas and more buzz. 7557 dancers are getting sharky and professional - a few hot ones wandering around with nothing to say but "wanna dance?" Moving on and sitting alone staring into space if they get no bites when they could be cultivating a client. Security guys I never saw before and they were way too active walking through the dance area. Security activity is cyclical and the cycle now is BAD! But 7557 still has its charms and I was happy to see the beautiful waitress/dancer Jezebel waitressing. She's the franchise - everybody knows and loves her, an annoying impediment to having her all to myself. I also met an amazing transplant from Michoacan (no, not Detroit) named Adriana. This chica has got it all - great looks, personality, intelligence and delivers just about the best lap you can buy here. She's really nice but knows how hot she is and is happy to tease frustrated customers who enjoy her company and dances, but like me have got to want to swallow her whole when all she offers is a taste. First-I LOVE Latinas and this bar has the finest selection I've ever seen-dark, light, thin, curvy-you name it, they got it. Second, I got a Jack and Coke and a beer, both were pretty cheap and even though the bartender was a dude, he was totally cool and fast. As soon as my drink was empty he was right there. Last, all I can say is that the laps are SWEEET! At $10 a pop, you can't go wrong, and let me tell ya, bikini and all, it doesn't matter. Beers are 5 bucks and there is a bar the length of the club and a stage on the opposite side of the room almost as long. The stage has two poles. There is a DJ in a booth near the door and a couple of pool tables on the side. The dancers are friendly, almost all are Latinas. The waitress I talked to was a white woman, very nice, but not a dancer. They serve sandwiches, snacks, etc. but I didn't order so don't know how the food is. The lap area is a long bench on the side and dances (bikini only, no touching, apparently) are $ 10. Didn't hear any specials announced while I was there. There were two security guards at the front who roamed inside and outside the door. Didn't look too friendly but didn't hassle me either. For the guy who complained about the parking, there are some spaces outside the building on Saticoy, but you have to walk around to the entrance. The best dancer I saw there, and the prettiest, was Natasha. She also works at Star Strip 2 near Silver Lake where there aren't the ABC restrictions and she can give a great show. This Bikini Bar is kind of a dive (getting frisked at the door was a clue; on the other hand, it's nice to know there's real security and that you are probably safe), but once inside the drinks and food are reasonably priced and the girls are nice. There is a small "valet parking" area in the back and plenty of nearby un-metered parking on the street. There's no cover charge. It's got a full bar, some pool tables, and a single stage surrounded by small tables. The food is standard bar fare. The lap dances are ten dollars for a single, fairly long song, and are given in an area to the right of the stage that is partially blocked from the view of others in the club. As for the girls, they all seemed friendly, with zero attitude. There were no great lookers in the bunch, but no turn offs either (what they really need to do is get their girl bartender on the stage -- she's a knock out). As far as the "Nasty Factor" goes, it's a bikini bar, so from the start there's not much chance of things getting really crazy. The girl who danced for me was open minded, but at one point the security guy came over and very politely and apologetically told me to keep my hands away from her backside (a little embarassing, but he was nice about it and, what the hell, I can't keep track of all the different rules in different places, let alone who really enforces them). Overall, I'd say Club 7557 gives pretty good value for what it is and for the price. My friend and arrived around 10pm Saturday night, was kind of surprised how easy it was to park on the street. Last night (Friday) it was crowded with hot latina dancers and not as big a crowd of hombres as you would expect on Friday. The chicas were complaining and many going home early...but great opportunities for the customers. I got lots of lovin' and propositions from the amigas I've already made there - like a reunion of sorts given my absence. Only problem was that the usual relaxed security attitude here towards monitoring lap dances has fully reversed itself and the uniformed guards (who are nice guys doing what they are told to do) are right there in your face while you get dances. They even shooed a chica off my lap when she was keeping me company at a table. Another amiga told me that undercover law enforcement have been working the club and there is alot of paranoia and drama. I don't really get it because it isn't as if this club was operating outlaw at any time unless contact lap dances are not permitted period in clubs that sell alcohol. The dancers here are very talented at making the most of the little that lap dance partners are permitted to do in a club like this. Guys can't touch but the girls know how to make a $10 lap dance an extremely rewarding entertainment. That hasn't changed with all of this uniformed supervision. That's why I don't get the need to charge the atmosphere with all of this ugly goon imagery. There were about eight dancers working that night. I have to give these girls a quick lesson about working as a dancer (if they want to make any money). A few simple things for dancers to do while working. 1) When a customer gives you a tip while you are dancing. After you get off the stage go by his table and say thank you with a smile. 2) Do not just go by a table and ask the customer for a lap dance, that technique will not work very well. Sit down and have a conversation with him and see if he seems interested in you. Use you female charm to entice him, this does not mean being pushy. I notice the older dancers seem to know this much better than the younger dancers. If you do not know what entice means look it up in the dictionary, also see temptation, enchantment, captivation, allure and charm. 2) Do not bring your boyfriend with you to work. Do not sit with him and have drinks then get dressed and go outside with him to smoke and make out. Then come back and stand around doing nothing. 3) Do not hang out with the other dancers and complain about the customers in the club. 4) If you are in a bad mood just stay home , because you will only lose any new prospective customers. A smile and good attitude are very important. 5) Remember you need your customers and if you provide good service they will keep coming back. Booze, girls, good stage shows, laps (long and at a good price), good attittudes all around. Its a nice big place where you can go and actually feel like you went out. The only problem I see at all is parking. The place really packs em in like the old, old Bobs. I do not see how this joint can fail. No one can touch it. The only other place that would have a chance is The Wet Spot/Exposed, but the nude club, Exposed is more of a clip joint than a fun place to go. In the new modern times, where you cant talk to three girls without two of them complaining that they arent getting rich at their highly valued profession, this place is a delite. Every single girl that I saw had a positive attitude and most seemed to be doing OK money wise. I have never understood why some dancers think it is their right to get rich as a stripper. It is their right I guess, but really a dancer is a dancer. Make some cash, be happy and you can last for awhile. I am willing to bet, that this place will not have a high turnover of dancers. They are just too happy. The Valley Strip is the real deal. Its all about having a good time with lots and lots of girls to help you. A ten dollar four minute song is a good value no matter what is going on. A pretty girl is a pretty girl in any language, though English is not a problem AT ALL. There were only about 5 chicas on shift, very few customers, and the chica quality was fairly low. However, it ended up being a memorable early evening thanks to a tiny mujer named Ana. She came out of nowhere about when I was ready to leave after one beer. She asked every other customer for a dance before she came to me which had me thinking she was a Spanish only speaker. I find that some of these don't want to deal with the language barrier when they see an Anglo in the club. I do speak Spanish, but they don't know that - it ends up becoming a very pleasant surprise to them when they do approach. Gringo + Spanish = the best time a dude can have in clubs like Valley & Alameda Strip, and Club Oz. Anyhow, what I noticed about Ana was here tiny proportional frame - a look I like and a good fit on my lap. It is hard for me to evaluate her facial features in the dark - very complex - definitely adorable elements but I suspect I might not find her all that cute under the bright sun. She's not a kid either in her late 30's, but damn does she know what it is all about. She's from Guatamala - in U.S. for 15 years and her English is actually pretty good. We had a great hook-up at my table and she did what she needed to do to get me to the lap couches. That's what I love about the $10 dance concept - you can be adventurous. I might never have danced with her at a more expensive club and would have missed out on a very special time. Her dances were as good as they get for this type of venue. She very purposefully tried to take me to the finish line without breaking any rules and she succeeded at the end of only 2 dances since I had entered the club like a lit stick of horny TNT. I gave her a $10 tip on top of the $20 dance tab. I thought that would be it but she remained and remained and remained and remained. I was going to get the full novio treatment. She had followed all the rules in the dances - keeping my hands away from even innocent locations. However, now that we weren't "dancing" - no money was exchanging hands, a honeymoon broke out. We remained on that couch for close to an hour - in close embrace, kissing and fondling and groping. Eventually she went to the stage - I retreated to the bar after tossing her a few bucks. Same deal here as the AS (the club is a little larger in size), free admission, inexpensive full bar, bikini dancing etc, however the real attraction of AS & now VS too, is the $10 long-song laps, which are basically better than any other non-nude club in LA! (see for yourself!). Girls are mainly Latina (but not exclusively). Looks vary from the low-end of the scale to (surprisingly) the absolute top end (really - though some of these young hotties may not speak too much English!). And the girls here generally have a great attitude!!! Some will obviously like this place more than others: - if it IS your thing, you'll be back!
