Well, I like the name, and the movie was great.
You know the cool thing about burlesque the movie was that it gave some girls the chance to work there way up from the stripper business into bigger and better things.
I'm not really that mobile now, but when I get the chance I'll come and visit your club.
Until then, over on my side of the L.A. basin, we're having a "Halloween" party at "Holiday" on the 26th. One of the make-up artist who worked on the movie burlesque dances there and is going to show her stuff regarding her horror make-up skills. It should be pretty scary, and you can buy alcohol there.

this place went down hill quick years ago.it has been one of worst clubs in valeey foryears. especially after see an old lady dance on stage. i still have nightmares about that night.

Of all the places in the Valley to have a Birthday Party while it's sub-freezing temperatures outside. it was FUN! Franki is the Bartender there and from what we saw the girls really like her! Happy Birthday Franki!
There were ballons, party favors, Food, Food & more FOOD! Franki kept the drinks flowing and the dancers kept the stage alive! Most of the dancers were in the LouAss category, cute with booty's! There were a few other's that as the old saying goes, a type of Girl for every customer!
Laps are $20 (Bikini), nothing to write home about, mostly air, but I'm sure if you find the right babe there might be some sort of grindage there. Security kind of looks over, but for the most part leaves you alone 
It is sad that such a big club with Full Alcohol Bar is so empty, butt I guess not every club can be full!
Even the new all polished up club Rouge has only 4 dancers and a handfull of people (On a weekend nite) according to one patron!
Franki you are a sweetheart, keep the drinks and your music flowing!

It's a damn shame - but it sucks!

When I first moved to LA in 1995, this place was a hole in the wall topless joint (can't remember the name)- but still the type of place that was worth a stop-off on the way home! (like the late "Hollywood A Go Go" on Victory Bl used to be!). Then in 96- 97 it got a re-model, became "Strippers", and I swear, I remember stopping by one afternoon around then & it was TOTALLY HOPPING - packed with customers (including a ladies office party!) & a respectable selection of maybe 10 - 15 dancers! However, since the late 90's it has become a downright sad / miserable deal - I stop by every six months or so hoping that the management has kicked some shit into the place, but, alas, it is not to be!!! It is always as dead as a fucking post & the dancers are just, well.... What's up here??? IMHO, there is pretty much a "sure thing" market for a "Fritz" type classy big ol' topless place in the Valley, where PL's and the VU / VIP etc types can go & see hot chicks & drink cocktails when they fancy a break from their usual etc! How come The Valley has SO many clubs, but the topless ones are all the size of the average Del Taco?? When I go to Fritz, I am reminded that topless doesn't always equal some dive bar with an aging 80's rock-chick dancing to Motley Crue on the jukebox to 5 barfly's! (God bless those places, however!). Just my 2c!!

I am a dancer that worked at this club for 2 weeks. It is TERRIBLE. The girls are total dogs especially the 3 girls named in the below post (that is how I know they wrote it.) I can promise you that the entry below was written by one of those girls named, a blind man or a VERY serverely drunk man. Most of the girls (on a scale of 1-10) are 1s or 2s. This place is awful. The only good thing is they serve alcohol and the girls are soooo ugly they will do a lap dance for about 10 bucks. So if ugly, fat, rude girls is what your into...have a blast there.

to the deffence of burlesque girls. ive been to burlesque many times and every time ive been there ive had a really good time with ruby,india and,lacey. they some of the funnest girls ive had the privilege to party with. i have many club options and still i preffer to spend my money at burlesque . and everytime i go to burlesque there is alot of regulars and guys having a good time .so i guess its not such a bad place after all. just some guys expect the most when they are really not all that themselves.so to the girls at burlesque thanks from don and all my friends

i really like burlesque its really laid back and the drinks a great the girls are really friendly and always redy to party with a smile when ever i want to get away from every thing i always go to my favorite spot with my girls i always leave with a smile and they defenitly get my problems of my mind ive met a lot of people there and its like agreat big family .the girls are always celebrating something and they have parties for each other this club and the vibe is like no other.i love it and im on my way right now

I think Zbone's review is right on the money. This is the dregs, and there's another reason: Plain clothes cops go there and everytime they did a table dance the cops would beg them to touch them. When they complied - even a little bit - they would arrest them. No self-respecting stripper would stay there. Most of the dancers are of the 'please don't take anything off' variety. Usually there's no one dancing, They had a few good lookers at one time, but the last time I looked in it was dead.

I think that the review of strippers was a little harsh. strippers has three really good things to be said about it. It's right across the street from DEJA VU so when customers complain that there's no alcohol at our nude club I can send them over to strippers to sample their apple martinis (Yum). It's got a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is pleasant and hospitable. You will never go into strippers and be ignored. Which leads to my third reason ... LACY. If you like to laugh till your sides hurt and have someone give you the best time of your life, get a dance with LACY. she is the true meaning of beauty coming from within.My friends and I go and see her at least twice a week. Because it puts us in the best of spirits and helps us take that contagious enthusiasm back to work with us. I don't mind the dirt or the vomit smell because I've met the best people there. My girlfriends and any man who isn't afraid to get dirt under his fingernails will all agree with me when I say that strippers is NOT FANCY ... BUT FUN!

A review of Strippers.

It's been about 6 months since my girlfriend and I went into Strippers. The building was fairly clean. Not as bad as some of the other reviews had suggested. Good pool tables and beer. No pressure to by drinks. I'm sorry to say the ladies weren't the best I've seen, to say the least. We saw about 10 dancers. 2 were 8+, One went from a 4 to a seven after she took off her top. The rest were in the 3 range. To be honest, the best looking lady working there was the cocktail waitress. She was very pretty, very nice, and she worked hard keeping the drinks flowing for the whole place. Wish we could have gotten her on stage.
If you like boobs and beer, and your ladies don't have to look like Penthouse Pets, this place might be the place for you. No pressure to buy drinks for the ladies or lap dances. A casual place to hang out and relax, if you don't mind less than stunning sceanery.
