Spent about 5 hours at Snookys. New girls. I like it. Drinks still strong. Bartender was hot. DJ was a loud mouth slacker. Guess he didn't like the fact that he had to check id's to. Not to crowded. I liked that. I'm semi good looking, but I got more than the usual attention from some very hot girls.

I've been here a few times over the last few months. Last Monday, I went in and that'll be the last time. I was there about 11:30pm. There were a few girls, maybe 3 or 4. They were decent. I ordered a beer and swilled it. About 11:45, I tried to get another one. The bartender was too busy to tell attend to me, and finally some chubby, angry looking Mexican guy tells me "It was last call, you're done". I said "What time is last call?" He said "Now". I wanted to quote Anton Chigur from No Country for Old Men and say "'Now' is not a time, what time is last call?", but I just left. What kind of place closes before midnight, even on a Monday, even in Simi Valley?

Way boring now, I danced there like 2 years ago and it was run WAY better and was WAY more fun! The Manager was cool and a Hottie to. Now the girls have have booty shorts . Now crapy drinks, dirty bathrooms & the Bartender/dancer was kinda stuck up to.
I'll stick to real clubs that are clean with hott girls not the fat sluts they have there (gross). They shoulda never changed the way it was back then.

Have been going to Snooky's off and on for almost 15 years now. With every ownership change things got worse, until now. I am very impressed with the level of class and style that the new managment is bringing to this club. The ladies are more beautiful than ever and they are all very friendly. The addition of a full bar and daily happy hour specials has only added to the club. If you want a place to go, have a great time and be treated like family, Snooky's in Simi is definatly the place to go.

dude, this club was packed on friday the 13th....it was some girl's birthday and some dude got a stage show with 4 girls going at once...the place was slammed four deep at the bar and their patio was almost more fun than watching the girls dance on stage....for a neighborhood bar with girls dancing...not so bad

Dunno if anyone would remember me, I was Holly, short brown hair, from massachusetts, loved dead popes and would bring pope books to Snooky's with me, quit after Jeff yelled at me for telling a customer who wouln't tip me to 'enjoy the freee show'...worked also at Ventura and Oxnard snooky's, and PJ's (does that place still exist?) Vicki how the hell are you?????? Fill me in on the gossip from the last 8 years! Does Kat still work there? Miss Kim? Ruby? Morgan? How is Duke? What's it like now? What to expect at Snooky's Simi Valley
|
I stop there about once a week for a beer so my info is limited to late afternoons during the week. What should you expect?
1. The beer is cold, and quite a selection.
2. They have snacks, if you want to hit it at lunch.
3. Five or six pool tables.
4. A bunch of TVs, best viewed from the bar and tuned to sports for the most part.
5. ATM
6. Clean restroom.
And what you really want to know about:
7. Mileage.
There is none. Bikini dances on stage only. No laps, no table dances, nada. Girls are not in the same league looks-wise (maybe an exception or two)with those in the LA clubs but are friendly and have a good attitude for the most part. Unless they double as bartenders, they dance for tips only.
There are three other Snooky's: Oxnard, Ventura and Lancaster. I've been to Oxnard and would say in general about the same review applies.

Ok so I stopped by today (several months after I pronounced the club dead in my review below - I don't live in Simi!) & Snooky's is well & truly open for business. It must have been closed temporarily when I last visited. There is like a new, "deluxe" sign outside - I guess that vaguely qualifies as a "renovation"! The place was packed (Friday afternoon), & while this place is what it is, there were definitely some cute ladies present! Not bad at all!!!!

I used to be regular at Snooky's for a long time, but I will not waste my time anymore.
When Duke owned the place, there were always several good looking & friendly girls working there, some of which I became friends with in and out of the bar.
Now, you have a bunch of used-up, speed freaks, that have attitudes almost as ugly as they are !
Girls, give it up ! Pick 'N' Save is always hiring !

Dont kow what that last guys trip was - but I'm glad I dont take advice from people who smoke pot in the courthouse bathroom!
Anyway, Snook's has its up and down times for sure but it's been a solid hangout for me and my family for quite sometime - and the new owner has definitely made some good changes. There are all types of girls there - check out the sweet and sexy biker Terri, the ass + attitude of Miss Amber, hot young Heaven, and of course RockinQueen Vicki. There's also a good pool tourney Wed nights run by a solid bro, and happy hour with free food (something that saves this bachelor from the kitchen at least once or twice a week). And so you don't get the full gyno show - you can drink beer and you don't have to cough up 10 bucks for a drink to talk to a friendly girl.

if there is one thing i can say....6 years ago i would give this club an 11 on a 10 scale...i did not return untill recently...i cannot believe what i saw...a fourty year old (looked 80) dancer that was dancing for herself on the stage which is about 20 minutes driving time from the bar, 2 patrons, and a chunky overdressed bartender that was eating...i will only return to this club which happens to reside in the dead center of the crank capitol (and cop capitol) of the world (simi valley) if i am bringing at least 10 friends and some dancers with me...if you want to look at girls you are better off renting a porno...if you want to meet girls you are better off going to the grocery store...at least you know the check out girl has to at least say thank you for shopping at vons. oh and be careful...driving in simi is as dangerous as smoking pot in the court house bathroom before your probation hearing!
