Well was at the WG on Friday night and I was shocked how packed it was. all the regular girls were there (a few like Brandi & Asia were missing) but it was like the good old days! Really a shame that it's going to close for good in a few weeks. Gonna miss the old girl!!

I want to know who is going to be the tenants of the "5-story" apartments built in place of the bus station. It sounds like a giant section-8 project that will kill the prestige of the retail and condo project LK is planning. Who is going to live under the noisy green line? I'm going to guess it's not 6-figure income types and if the Del Aire neighborhood thinks the WG has been a "bad" neighbor they're about to get a big lesson.
Like all these types of projects, there'll be all kinds of unintended consequences no one could have thought of in a hundred years.

yeah, the fact that this dive is just months away from closing down, and also that alot of people think it has shut down already.....don't expect any crowds here anytime soon, except maybe in its last week of operation. I haven't been back since it re-opened, but friends tell me that it is a ghost town. Most, if not all of the dancers have probably already found new places since the 1 month hiatus.
What a sad and pathetic way for this club to die after almost 50 years in business.

First and last trip!

This was my first and last time coming to this place. I stopped by The Wild Goose Sunday after dropping a friend off at LAX around 4:30 pm hoping to see some hot looking women and have a few drinks. By what I got when I walked in was a completely empty club and 3 old fats guys sitting at the bar each drinking a small pitcher of beer. WTF! Where the hell are all the dancers at?! Thank god they didnt charge anything to get in cause then I would have been really pissed off! I figured I was already here so I may as well have a seat at the bar and have a quick drink. Make it worth my while. I will say the bartender was really nice even though she looked like she was already on a good one herself. Now looking around it is actually a nice looking place with a couple of pool tables, but you know what would have made this place even better. DANCERS! Another thing I didnt like is that it didnt look like there was any lap dance area. Everything is all out in the open. No privacy. So needless to say I drank my drink, tipped the bartender a few bucks, and was on my way back home after just about 10 minutes.

Stopped by at 11pm Saturday and stayed until closing time. Fairly busy (35-40 patrons, 12-15 dancers)-- for reopening a week ago-- but below typical turnout for a Goose Saturday.
Dancers onsite included Alexxa, Honey, Suzy, Star and Myla. Noticeably absent were Brandy and Asia.
According to staff, owner Larry has inked a deal to level the entire block in order to build a shopping center and will close the Goose permanently on 12/24/2011. However, I've heard this one before, like three years ago. Betting in these tight times on a project that depends on retail revenue seems dicey to me...

A bunch of dancers including Lana, Myla, Jordan have moved to Fantasy Castle in Signal Hill. I know there's more than just the named above.
I won't go into what FC is all about since this is a WG thread, but it's a nice place with more privacy then the Goose. If you get my drift....
Otherwise, the Goose's shutdown has thrown the dancers to the wind and they've ended up all over town. Paola: I have no idea, sorry.

Rumor has it that the owner Larry (that kingpin of business - HA!) has finally gotten his way & has been approved to tear down the club and build condos. So it seems that our beloved Goose will close for good on or before Christmas time.

FWIW, I hope that the powers-that-be do the smart thing this time, and when the Goose reopens - LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT!!! Not only here on zbone, but on Twitter, Facebook, and even the "last-updated-in-2002" Wild Goose webpage. Hell - advertise it in the Daily Breeze and on the radio. Let everyone know!
I can't tell you how many people still think that the club has already been sold and torn down, due to no follow up from the "sale" that fell through back in 2009. Unless they want an empty club upon re-opening, they gotta get the word out.
Go big or go home!

Well today 8-26-11 was the day we got the bad news!
Starting Thursday Sept 1st 2011 we are to close our doors for thirty days due to a liquor suspension from the ABC. We will reopen the doors Saturday October 1st at 2pm.
So in the meantime there still is six days left to get loose at the Goose.
Then me and the staff will be on vacation.
AGAIN WE WILL REOPEN OCT 1ST 2011 AT 2:00pm
I hope you all get a chance to visit us soon I'm sure Wednesday the 31st should be fun!

Yes, the appeal for stay and review of the ABC penalty to the California Supreme Court was denied on 8-10-11. So, yes, the club will be not selling alcohol for 30 days, which means it'll probably be closed for that time. Who's going to go by there for $5 cokes, right? Knowing the how the state works the suspension could happen **tomorrow** or next year. No one knows when (well, the state knows, but when will they get around to real action?)
The big decision is whether the Goose will reopen after the suspension. There's many anxious dancers and employees not knowing what their future is. That's sad. To many who work there, the Goose is like an extended family and it looks like this is the end.

Stopped by the club last week and rumor has it (again) that the club will be closing down for a 30 day period related to the raid a few years ago. Supposed to happen within a week or two? Anyone have any intel? Also heard that if it does close for the 30 days the owner might not bother re-opening. This might all be bullshit, since there have been previous closing rumors that didn't happen. Hope that's it's just a rumor, coz as dumpy as this place is, it's still a great place to hang out with your favorite ladies on a Friday night.

After a late flight into LAX on Tuesday I decided to stop in and see if the night scene was an improvement over the very slow day scene.
I got there about 1 1/2 before closing and it was pretty quiet, but there were three girls there, all good lookers.
Rachel sat down and I could tell she wasn't going anywhere until I coughed up my cash. One girl went on stage while I was there, but Rachel sat to block the view, just in case.
She was pleasant enough to talk to, very tall, blonde, nice fake boobs. She said she was 47, but she sure as shit didn't look it. I put her in her 30's. Her dance was very sexy, with some massage moves thrown in (sorry, no massage's outside the lapping area).
But she did spoil it all by trying the "I'm going to dance until you stop me" rob. Plus she started the first dance in the middle of a song. I though it was a warm-up, but she wanted full price for that song and the next. It left a sour taste, felt like I was taken advantage of.

lol well the last time I visited here was last week, and yes.....Sunshine is STILL there. I know. Hard to stomach.
Kat is back as well, and hasn't lost the baby weight yet. And yeah - Candace is a waitress now, and not a very good one.
It was pretty interesting to see so many of the familar faces here, since at other clubs the dancers come and go so fast you can barely remember their names.

...well, came by here this past Fri in the early afternoon. Good news is, that real old lady is in fact serving and no longer dancing. I will go during the night one of these days and see if Sunshine is gone too. Something tells me that she is no longer there either. Bad news is, Priscilla is still dancing here M-F on days. She definetly had to go too...just annoying. I saw Selma there and this other little cute thing in red/pink hair plus a couple other lookers. We'll see if this place is making a "comeback"...

Making a comeback

Ok, so I would like to see for myself if this club is really making a comeback or not. This post is going to seem harsh, and it may well be, I am not trying to be mean for the sake of being mean, I'm keeping it real.
OK, so I have two questions.
#1. Does Candace still dance there during the day? She is a nice lady, but she is too damn old to be stripping. I can't tell you exactly what age is too old be be stripping, there are actually some dancers that look good in their late 30's (but its damn rare), Again, nice lady to talk to and if she wants to waitress at the club, I have no problem with that, But, I'm sorry, she is too old to be on stage taking her clothes off.
#2. Does Sunshine still dance there at night? She is too damn annoying to be stripping. Sorry, that's just how it is, and if you have ever interacted with her, you know what I mean, I don't have to explain it.

I found TWG yesterday and ended up spending the entire evening. I could see there were a lot of regulars but it didn't take long for an "outsider" to get in the swing of things. Gotta say I liked the atmosphere and there were several attractive ladies dancing.
Ended up spending most of my time with Asia, she is smoking hot, very friendly, and I( found out), very popular.
I hope to stop in again on my next trip to LA and I hope Asia will be working!
