Thank you, TheGent and chefboy for your reviews. I haven't been to this club in a while, and I was thinking of going tonight so I decided to check the board. Your reviews persuaded me not to go. The killer for me was "the lights are low (with blacklights)." I can take a risk with the selection of girls and the rest of it, but not if the stage is dark.
BTW, I didn't perceive Cognoscente's comments to imply that TheGent's post was a shill, unless there is a history here that I am unaware of.

I wanted to see what they had to say about Gentleman's Club (since I've been there recently), and I was surprised that there were no recent reviews. That's why I wrote mine...it's as simple as that.

First - thanks for the great report Gent. Most of the time, a new poster is automatically deemed a shill. I don't know if you are or not, but your review seems pretty fair to me, and provided some good intel. I wasn't planning to post a report on my recent visit, but Gent inspired me to post at least a mini-TR.
I stopped in for an early evening visit about a month ago. I hadn't been to the club in a long time. I immediately noticed that the club looked very nice - many changes since I had been in last.
I walked in and didn't see anyone at the entrance. As I continued in, an older man walked up and told me the cover was $20. I proudly handed over my "free admission" coupon and was then told "that will be $10". I didn't feel like arguing, so I paid up. I first asked for directions to the men's room - as I started to walk back, I noticed a dancer hovering near by.
Sure enough, after exiting the men's room, there she was at the bar looking for me. After asking her several times, I still couldn't get her name straight - sorry. I also wasn't sure if she was a latina or Armenian. She was a bit older, and not exactly what I was looking for, but she was agressive. We sat down and she was very "friendly" while I drank my $5 coke. After a short while, she asked if I wanted a dance. I only saw a couple of other dancers at the time (none of whom struck me as being any hotter), so I figured I should get a dance. So, I enjoyed two or three lap dances, with plenty of touching both ways. During the dance, she made references to the VIP and to how satisfied I would be with a more private dance (she put it differently).
I took a break after the lap dances, and we sat back down at a table. It didn't take long, of course, before she again started pusing the VIP. They have a printed card on the tables with VIP prices (a nice touch actually), and offer dances ranging from 15 minutes to an hour.
So, I broke down and asked for a 15 minute dance - for, as the Gent said, curiosity. I think it was $100 or thereabouts. After paying the old dude at the bar, we went back and settled in. I was not dissapointed.
I think I need to go back at a busier time. My Pasadena-area clubs have all closed, and I miss my neighborhood drinking clubs, but this could have some potential. Would love to come in when there is a better selection of dancers.
I'm still concerned about how the club is run, its general vibe, and the hustle factor - but I suspect that the right connection could prove to be very enjoyable.

Pardon me for having the temerity to find some aspects of this club acceptable.
I hardly gave a glowing review. I critiqued the free-drink policy, the attitude of the dancers, the looks of the dancers...I gave the good and bad. Is a review only convincing if there is nothing positive to say?
I know that most reviews are as detailed as "this place sucks!," so maybe it was surprising to read a review that actually had some subtlety. But most gents are subtle. ;) I stand by my review.
I'd say go check it out, at least to confirm my reports on "Red," but then again I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

It's Worth a Look

Last visit was a few days ago. Ratings are 1 to 4.
CLUB: Location is good, secluded from other businesses/buildings.Fee is $20 to get in after 7pm. Supposedly you get a free non-alcoholic drink with entrance. Zbone even says 2 drinks. Yet the last 3 times I've gone, the same guy who takes my money at the door comes around to the bar, makes my drink and asks for $5. So if you're feeling daring, you can challenge them on that "free drink" policy. The layout is nice, the DJ's not bad, the lights are low (with blacklights) and the music is loud. Some reviews complain about the open-curtain lapdance booths. However, the layout is such that everyone faces away from the booths anyway. The place is relatively clean. The men's room is clean also. Too bad the paper towel dispenser is away from the sink, right next to a urinal (good luck if someone's using the urinal when you need it). Overall a decent environment. 2.5.
HOURS: Sun-Thurs closing is 4am, Fri-Sat closing is 5am. Not sure when they open, but all other web info I found on the closing hours was not accurate.
DANCERS: Dancers range in looks from hot to mediocre. Gentleman's Club doesn't schedule any girls. It's up to the girls to come in whenever they want. So it's always going to be a crapshoot. Weekends have more girls of course, so the odds are in your favor for the sexier dancers. One noteworthy dud is "Red." Red is a about 50 years old and just needs to find a different job for the sake of her own dignity. Still, on the whole I've seen enough in-shape attractive dancers to still give the place a 2.5.
ATTITUDE: The girls are all nice, but they can be aggressive about getting a lapdance out of you. About half of them will politely but persistently ask you for a lapdance/VIP (like Red, which is similar to a nagging homeless person asking for money. You feel simultaneous pity and irritation). If they'd just ease up a little, I'd spend more money out of curiosity, instead of feeling pressured. Anyway, the other half will take a hint, stop the sales pitch and just chat with you until it's their turn on stage. So for this "half and half" situation they get a 2.
NASTY FACTOR: I haven't done VIP, so this is based on lapdances. As far as "mileage" goes, I've had plenty of fully nude dances here with generous groping involved. It depends on your chemistry with the girl though. Don't be an octopus and they'll warm up to you. I haven't timed the songs but they're probably just under 2 minutes each. A bummer, but the girls don't waste time either and they seem to get into it. So they get a 3 for nasty factor, assuming that 4 is some kind of hardcore situation.
SPECIAL NOTE - JADE: Who's Jade? Just a fine, young, and slender black beauty who's got adorable petite tits and a tight teenage-looking ass that absolutely kills me (softly). The girl can move. This club had some promising elements, nice stage set up, secluded location, nice lighting, not too far of a drive......and yet management always seems to drop the ball.
1. They ruin the laidback atmosphere with aggressive pricing structure such as $20 entrance and $10 drinks when last I was here.
2. Agressive pricing means customers get aggitated and become more demanding of dancers in terms of looks and mileage. This makes the dancers uncomfortable since I think management takes a high cut of the dances.
3. If the dancers are uncomfortable there's no incentive to give better dances. They will leave for other clubs. And here's where snowball effect is really noticeable.
Last time I was here was back in Nov 09. There was only 1 hot dancer who was Asian/White. In previous visits there was a decent number of hot dancers. But I assume they've left for other clubs.
Mileage was mediocre at best since the dances take place in these open boothes. They had these see-through curtains which costs extra if you want them down. VIP area has thicker curtains but I was told that security will occassionally peek in. Maybe this has changed...
I still believe this club has potential if management would ease up on the pricing structure. $20 entrance is fine but $10 drinks is pushing it. The floaters should also ease up when checking on dances-we don't mind paying as long as we get our money's worth, please don't intrude on dances.

i went a few days ago the place was dead couldnt even get a dance because the only dancer i saw was chilling with the manager and never even went on stage... the club was a good spot a few years ago then went down hill they changed the name a to the godfather and went even more down hill and now its back to the gentlemens club and its even more of a shit hole now... DONT GO YOUR BETTER OFF WITH A WEBCAM SHOW then this place...

I used to go to this club semi-regularly about 5 years ago, maybe a little more. The best thing they had was catered in free-lunches, including some pretty good pizza and sandwiches.
The club had some lookers and even a few that gave good dances. I don't think you'll see many reviews here either, whether they are good or bad.

I think The Gentleman's Club is the best place to spend your night, specially during this times. The beautiful girls dancing makes you forget everything. When there isn't anybody to listen to you, there will always be somebody for you. Lots of hugs!!!!!! In my own opinion". I have visited so many different night clubs and I can't compare this place to others because of the customer service all the employees provide.
There is some girls that are really hot like Paloma, Mia and a very talented dancer Yamila!

As a woman i have never been to a strip cub before let alone with my husband, i was a little nervous. its the only club in our area without going all the way to LA, at first none of the girls would really approach us but after we sat at the stage and let the girls know i was getting comfortable, we were approached by a couple girls, they were really respectful of me asked me permission to dance on my husband or put there boobs in his face, it was actually really fun.... we finally got a dance with a girl name sasha, she has such a great personality not mention a beautiful body, not many black girls can pull of blonde.... i really want to go back, so guys if you have girlfriends or wives who are kind of not sure about the whole strip club scene this is place to go and check it out, they are very "couple friendly"

I love this spot. I am a reg here so most of the girls know me. But the good part is every week there is at least one girl i either havent seen before or a girl i havent seen in a while. Variety is one of the clubs best qualities, latina, black, asian, armenian all kinds of girls. The atmosphere is laid back and chill. The girls are low pressure when it comes to asking for dances and are pretty genuine. Watch out for a few, sometimes they just dont get the hint, if you go try to get a dance with Paris, Yamilla, or Sasha some of my favs..

i think this club has gotten there act together, they got some new girls, new management, and all together a new attitude. i went after work about 2 weeks ago around 9 o clock on a thursday night, there were about 6 customers inside, i got my drink and sat down, every girl not sitting with a customer already came and said hi, they were very friendly and flirty. this club still has its class, i got 2 VIP dances with two diffrent girls and they both sat and chatted throughout the night, yes i will be going back.

Believe it or not but way back in the day this place was really fun. The had some of the best blonds in the valley.
Stay away until they get their act together. VIP is still the place to be.

I visited this club a couple nights ago and it was really lame. The girls were all ugly, didn't look very happy, and pretty much had no idea what they were doing. I knew not to expect anything too upscale going into it but it was far below average. It was also really small the the music was whack. There was one really hott girl in there named Millie I think but that was all. Even on a desperate night you can find better than this.

Some quick advice go and check out the VIP. They've been doing really well as of late and if you're there on Saturday it should be prime pickings.
Skip the Blue Zebra they are in a suck phase and not in a good way. Skip Gentlemen's Club as there's no data and if you check out their ad they're begging for dancers, not a good sign.
It's always good to check out DVNH just to see what's going on, they have some solid old school talent and they're always, and I mean always getting some new girls. I had a girl there the other night and it was her second day on the job. I mean she was fun as hell, she gave funny dances too as she was learning the ropes but it was a blast. Super flirty and she hung out with me most of the night.
So my suggestion to you is to hit the two clubs VIP and DVNH and if the one club is really making you happy go back to it and just go nuts. My guess is that you're going to find some serious fun at VIP. It is popping right now in the valley.

Hi, I'm going to be making the long drive to Griffith Park this upcoming Saturday from Mission Viejo (1.5 hours south). I was thinking about possibly visiting a nude club nearby in the *afternoon* before reaching my destination.
If you're familiar with the clubs in that area (especially recently), please let me know what you think about (in terms of cover, drink minimums, dance prices, number/quality of girls):

Not looking to break the bank... just want a nice break in what will be a very long day on the road.

Did this club change hands recently? For a while it was listed in the Godfather's ad and I used the coupon there. I think I saw a "new management" sign tacked up last time I drove by, and I don't see any advertisement is the LAW.

I went to this club at about 2:00 Saturday afternoon. It was EMPTY. I was the only customer, which was a little weird.
But the management was friendly, and as soon as I walked in they got a couple of dancers going, both of whom were cute -- one a nice looking tall blonde girl and the other a very pretty and very petite latina (at least I think she was latina; her accent was a little confusing) --- and I ended up getting some pretty good milage on lap dances from each of them. So . . . not so bad. I'd try it again.
