This IS NOT the place to come if u want a real good bump and grind kind of lap dance! Go to TJ's Theatre in Stanton instead. For some reason the Laws in Stanton don't apply to TJ's and the girls CAN sit on your lap or touch u while they are dancing. And they have Topless and NUDE dances too.

Let me give u the info on Fuzzy Bears. I used to work there so I would know. As far as lap dances go, I noticed some of you compalining about them. The laws are different in different cities/counties and as far as Stanton goes the girls cannot sit on your lap or touch u while they are dancing. So if u want a real good bump and grind kind of dance, this IS NOT the place. So quit your bitchin'. I also noticed someone said they have a full bar. They DO NOT have a full bar. Beer and wine only. They also have a wide variety of girls, mostly average but there are some really pretty ones. You just have to go at night and on certain days. Ivette and Morgan are rad ladies and great on the pole. Go check them out. This place is pretty kick back and u won't get hassled by the ladies. Just don't sit at the stage staring like u never seen T&A before and not tip. It's fucking rude!

The real scoop on this place

Ok, so I've been here a few times.. And after reading my review you'll probably ask why?? I've been coming here for maybe a year off and on during the day. There is a circuit of bars around that area that I sometimes on a lazy Friday I visit... Keep in mind, these are only my day shift experiences..
The bar: When you enter the bar, it smells of mildew and dimly lit... There are pool tables, games of "skill/chance" (the claw stuffed animal shit), 2 small stages and very limited seating. Although the seating is not a problem, as I've never seen more than 3-4 guys in here at any given time. There is a small lap dance area tucked away in the corner towards the front. The place looks run down and unmaintained. Dive bar? Yep, and worse..
The booze: Only beer.. Overpriced at that. About 3.75 for an aluminum "bottle" of bud light. Even though this is a bikini bar there is only beer, wine, and that soju crap.
The girls: Any decent ones I've seen in this place are usually not there the next visit. Most of the regular girls there are unattractive and in the wrong line of work. If you like large girls, then you'll be like a hog in shit. During the day there are usually 2-3 girls working.
So the thing is the girls will get on stage for 2 songs, shake their more than ample asses. If you sit on or near the bar (coincidentally the only real places to sit) you'll be expected to tip or suffer the wrath of all the girls there. Most of the girls get up and go through the paces... Very uninspired and not even worth watching. I love how one girl wears her dirty sandals while dancing. And the kicker?? TWENTY DOLLAR LAPDANCES, however the song is full length jukebox.
Bottom line: This is not a good bar at all. There are really no redeeming qualities that make this worth more than a curiosity visit. The booze is overpriced, the dancers are well below average, the pool tables are worn down, and 20 dollar dances make it difficult for me to imagine how they continue to stay in business. Perhaps the night scene is better, but judging by the clientele that rolls in there and the area of town it's in, probably not worth it either. Cheers!

So it looks a little odd at first.

I used to almost live at this place many years ago. It definitely has had its ups and downs.You used to be able to stuff tips down the dancers tops or even bottoms but the laws changed all that. Some really hot dancers have worked here but it has been low quality for a few years now. It has always just been bikini never topless and no regular cover charge.It's beer&wine but they have shots of some kind but not a full bar. Usually three to four girls dance one at a time on a small front stage or a smaller stage behind the bar. There's four bar size billiard tables some games and lots of tv's. Most of the girls are friendly but usually only one with be nice looking , two average, and the other one either needing Jenny Craig, or carrying way too much S.S..The laps are $20 (full song from jukebox) but are way below average almost air. You might be able to get two for $15 or even two for $20 depending on the dancer. The last couple of times I've been in there this one dancer could work the game boy well with some thigh action. I'll be going back soon and hopefully leave drained and happy. If not I think I can work reverse S.S. and get some private laps. Low key place, good to watch a game shoot pool after work maybe see one or two worth a look.

This place is a bikini bar with a full bar. They have a couple of pool tables. I think they still do laps not sure how much they are tho, prolly like $20 for a VLM bikini dance. Last time I was there they didnt charge a cover. Make sure you call before you go, just to be on the safe side.

So my friend takes to me this club and I found it to be a friendly little place. It's not a club for a bachelor party but if you're looking for a place to hang out you might like this place. First of all there is no cover charge. They have TVs and pool tables. There are not a lot of girls and they are not 10s (more like 5 to 7) but they are very down to earth and will play pool with you. Yevette is great on the pole, I think she could make a lot more money at another club but she's been working there for a while; one of the best pole dancers I've seen. the lap dancers are on the light side but it's a great place to get a beer and hang out. If this club is close to you then you should really check it out; I probably wouldn't go out of my way for the place but it's alive and still kicking.

I have never thought much of fuzzy bears, i have been there maybe 4 times and wasnt impressed with the place.
Starting with the price of the beer, the service and the quality of the dancers seemed to me that some came from sugars which doesnt say much..
My friend i though went there recently and to our suprise the place has improved a lot.
We were especially impressed with a new girl that was working along the day but cant rememeber her name.
She was very pleasant and although the place was kinda busy she still manage to talk to us briefly and we enjoyed watching her interact and serve and entertain everyone.
She was a breath of fresh air...there is only one problem, we dont know her name or the days she works, if she is still there.
We were there last sunday since it was sunday when we met her but she wasnt there.
She talks with an accent and has red hair and very sexy!
If anyone knows who she is let us know.

I am not sure what Chris is refering to, this is a small bikini club, with beer and wine only, It is a cool place to play pool and get a beer. Some night there are a number of good looking ladies dancing some nights there are none. So it would be hit or miss, the laps are tame and cost $15. All of the ladies are cool and down to earth. My suggestion to Chris visit the club himself then write a review, writing a review on someone elses visit is LAME. Friday nights are best.

I was curious about this place from the longest time. Co-worker just got back from here and scoped it out for me. He had a horrible time. The Club was poorly kept, and the girls were lacking to say the least. He told me to avoid at all costs, because it was the worst experience he's ever had at a bar/club.

Well, based on what I've seen here, I was of the assumption that this place was gone. But on my home, I stopped by for a beer, and it seemed to be live and well. Since it was 6pm on a Tuesday, I probably couldn't have picked a worse time dancer wise to visit the place, but it had a small, personal type atmosphere, was better lit then most clubs, and had 4 pool tables. I'll stop by again on Friday or the weekend and give it a more thorough review.

Many Girls have left, Not much action

Many of the Girls have left because they no longer
get payed to work there. The only money they make
is from tips, it's not even topless and no lap
dance action to help bring in tips. Also they
started enforcing the states no smoking ban late
in 2002, all in all has not worked well for them.
Now it's more of a laid back post work retreat,
and the girls that are still there are very nice
when you factor in that they work for tips only.
They charge too much for drinks for a low nasty
factor club, with no payroll for the Girls. It's
laid back , smoke free but not much action here.

Well, I agree, that isn't very nice to laugh at someones illness.
On the other hand, over the years that I have been in Fuzzy's, all I've observed Mike 'Manage' was his own degenerate gambling habits, and abuse of the girls.
I have seen Mike treat the girls like shit.
I've personally witnessed him physically shove the girls into things.
Throw tantrums, scream obscenities at them, humiliate them and yes, steal money from them.
All this, in plain view of the customers.
Look how all of the best girls are long gone.
I've watched Mike, the degenerate gambler, sit
and lose money all night long on the Keno machine
(before they took it away from him)
and make up his losses by charging the girls
at the end of the night for 'losses of inventory' or maybe a few 'short cash register drawers'.
I've watched this go on for YEARS.
Does Mike deserve cancer?
No.
Nobody does.
But I can certainly see how the girls could develope enough animosity to be able to type something like that.
Finnally, its very clear to me that not only
are you a mean spirited, illiterate, freak with
serious mental problems (and double standards)
But you also quite obviously have a personal agenda against 'Chrer'...
I suspect I know who you are.

I hear the guy at Fuzzy Bear bought the Barbary Coast. Is he re-opening it as the BC or another Fuzzy Bear? Will he be bringing over the Fuzzy Bear girls? Will he be lurking around the dancers and snapping 'stop it!', every time a girl gets within less than an inch of a customer. Will the new management be like Dr. Gene Scott on Channel 56 in the afternoon when the bearded wonder barks, "GET ON THE PHONE AND SEND ME MONEY!!!!!!"

I went to the Fuzzy Bear today just for a quick beer before I had to go back to work. When I entered there were only 2 ladies working a decent looking girl that had an asian look to her, and a heavy set latina girl that seemed nice at first but was a total racist. I know,since the events of 9/11,some are on edge when a person of middle eastern decent comes in your place of work. She was intently watching him as he asked the other girl a question and told the three of us that were sitting at the bar that he looked like a terrorist and was trying to get the other girl to get him out of there. I don't care that you have those views of paranoia, but she was just a flat out racist and made the rest of my stay uneasy and after I finished my beer I left and went to Sugars in Garden Grove. There is no need for racism.

Blame at least one (or 2) folks at the BC (just look at this list of OC bars for a clue) for Maryianna's disappearance. I always liked Maryianna too. She was chewed up by the evil, slack-jawed, gluttonous, Anaheim 'use 'em and grind 'em' meat factory. I wish her the best and hope all is well w/her.
You know, it's a funny thing about dancer bars. As much as I love going in them, when you don't see a dancer for a long time, one kinda thinks, "I miss her, but hopefully this means she's found a bigger and better deal!" I certainly hope that's the case with this lady.

I have been going to fuzzy bears for a long time, and i must say from all the places i've been to this is the one that feels like home.
the girls are always friendy and personal, the beer almost always cold and the service...well...who comes here for that. we come here for the girls right?
but there is one of them that i have missed.
i have always kept track of her but this time i must say left without notice.
i am talking about maryianna. hardheaded full of attitude, sexy penelope cruz look a like greek girl.
if anyone knows where she is working please let us know.

One of my favorit clubs, the girls are very
nice and the place is fun the general attitude
the very laid back.However the service is very
good I only wish they had food more often, as
then do with free hot dogs on monday night in
football season.This is a great post work stop
if you live or work close by, If you are a
smoker than this is your last stand,there is
a no smoking sign on the door but as soon as you
enter you smell the smoke and ash trays are
everywhere .If your not a smoker and you have
a wife who is also a non smoker you may want to
pass on this place, even if you only stay for
a 1/2 hour or so you will reek of 2hand smoke,
your wife will know where you been.

Fuzzy Bear's has been a good local hangout for years. The dancers are friendly and some are downright gorgeous (Hi Kimmi). Some of the dancers really put forth an effort to earn your $$, others not. It seems that the nastier the dance here the better the entertainment, especially on the center stage.
I found it difficult to get a beer when I wanted one. I have read that the place is way too smokey. I couldn't really tell, but because of the number of cutomers smoking inside, I'll take her word for it.
Become a weekend regular and you will get to know the girls because it seems like the same crew on all weekend nights.

Great Place To Watch The End Of The World!

I've been going to FUZZY BEARS quite a bit. When the September 11th attack happened, I found myself drawn there. Not so surprisingly, the charred remains of the World Trade Center were on television. This mixture of images straight from ALAS BABYLON, and the blonde Diane grinding on the stage while another lady in a bikini brought a beer, will be etched in my mind forever!
The show must go on! And it continues to go on at Fuzzy Bears. My favorite is Melinda. She's something straight outta Conan The Barbarian.
People have reported problems with the management, but I have yet to encounter any real trouble. The dancers have been friendly to me. Nice place to visit if you live in, or happen to be near, the Stanton area. I love the way this club is laid out!
