Club BCL really put the bar high when it came to Gentleman's Club. As for me being there, I worked there all 8 years and was the voice on Zbone for the owner. However! Today was a sad Day. Why? The Classy Lady has been sold and tonight at 2am, Bob will be closing the doors for the last time! We had a really fun memorable Farewell party all afternoon, many dancers came by to say Thank You and farewell! Drink Specials and Food was also provided. I personally would like to say Thank You Bob for all the good times (37 years +), may life give you many more years, you will always be remembered as an innovator of the Feature Stars at Club BCL and now at many other clubs. The good news - the new owners will keep the name and will try to get a FULL Alcohol Bar, I'm sure there will be some renovations. There just won't be Bob! Bob's Classy Lady was located on Raymer, where Rouge is currently operating, and was, as it is now, a nude strip club serving no alcohol. There indeed was a time when the mileage was "off the charts" at Bob's, and many of us enjoyed really raw TL, HT/COI levels of activity, without limits. There was even a small private room with a door that locked from the inside. I can't even imagine how many BJ's and FS "lap dances" were performed there. I remember the place being packed with PL's, with dancers on two main stages and several mini-stages, all at the same time. The place really rocked! More than likely Spawn was there too around those times. Classy Lady is located on Sepulveda, and is, and to the best of my knowledge, alway has been a topless club which serves alcohol. For those who missed it, don't miss it next year! Got there around 2:30pm, only about 2-3 dancers rotating on the stage, the rest were all getting ready in the dressing room. The buffet was catering to everyone's taste buds! 4 BIG bowls of different chips, Jalapeno bean Dip tray, Veggie Tray with Ranch dressing, and cheese platter with sliced sausage's and for the main course Sliced 6' Subway sandwiches with all the condiments and extras you could want! For the desert table, WOW! The dancers out did themselves baking cupcakes, making peppermint brittle (which tasted real good), mini brownies, some kind of chocolate fudge dipped in chocolate and few other items. The beer kept flowing and so were all the customers coming in, it started to pack in around 5pm, which was perfect timing, because at 5:30pm it was "ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE?" 5-6 Girl good old fashion Xmas Pillow fight! All the dancers were dressed in their Pajamas came on to the stage laid down to sleep with their pillows and when the music started - They got up and were whacking the crap out of each other, which brought a roar from the crowd, not to mention it was raining dollar bills showing our appreciation. Even the poor defenseless Christmas tree got whacked! All the guys sitting by the stage grabbed their beers and pitchers to get them out of harms way! I don't think there was a clear winner, on second thought us guys and some of the girls WE were the winners! Great Show! The pool tables were constantly busy, and if you didn't mark your seat, you lost it! I walked Samantha out to her car and came back only to find total NEW strangers sitting in my seat! Too many to list. Because shifts can be as short as four hours, the turnover of talent and your timing may not have been in sync. Regarding lap dances, state law prohibits ANY touching between a dancer and a customer in a topless bar. You need to go to an all nude club in order to get your "touchy feely" laps. Date: 3/30/2002 6:57pm From:   Betty_Black Subject: Update - Yes the view is a bit biased I revcently started dancing here and don't feel that the reviews do the club justice. Most of the girls are very nice, though they may seem distant if you catch them on a bad day. They come in various shapes and sizes, though I think most are pretty, and some are very hot (I've had men tell me the women looked a lot better than they expected from past reports). The main stage is a decent size, though I think the poles are too short to perform good tricks on. After two songs the dancer goes to the table stage. Unfourntally this is not quite as good as it used to be, due to new(?) rules the dancers no longer are allowed to dangle over the customer or sit on the tables while dancing and it seems that we are all trying to figure out new and exciting ways to keep the dances there good. What was a favorite spot to visit a favorite dancer has become secound stage to the third stage. This last stop in our rotation is a itty bitty stage with an even smaller topeless area and only seats a small handfull of customers. But from a dancers perspective it's a lot of fun, as one can really dance for those seated there without fear of boreing those at the bar. I love working here and it is my working escape, my mood is elevated by the ability to entertain with my dancing without the headach of the hussle. I'd recomend comming in (no cover) and giving us a good long look. I took two other friends with me on a night when neither girl I went to see was there. Only stayed for a beer the girl on stage was ok but not too friendly. The bartender was cute and nice, but I didn't catch her name. Black hair and slim. I went on a night they had a feature porn actress dancing. It was busy and I never sawthe feature but I saw both Alex and Anna and a girl who may have been black or Latin and I didn't ask her name, but she was a good dancer. The bar was very busy. My gripe is the parking lot doesn't seem to safe, and they need more girls with big tits. The other day I was in the mood for a beer so I decided to pop in The Classy Lady, even though all I heard were horror stories. Not so much about the girls, but more about the clientile and it is known for crime, but the area is as much to blame for that. I went in and saw two girls- Anna and Alex. Both extemely busty (I'd guess bigger than DD's) Although I only stayed maybe a half hour, they were both beautiful in faces and bodies. Alex is kind of an amazon, with big, natural tits and long legs, blond. Anna is a brunette barbie doll. Both seemed friendly and I plan to go back. The rest of the club was fairly typical topless fare. But if you can check out these two, I would do it. Overall you have a good club. I love going there to play pool.I like this place because the gils are not nasty looking. I go to the Classy on a regular basis and have found the dancers and barmaids to be attractive and very friendly. Many will actually smile! Dancers like Anna, Alex, Marie, Tara, and almost all of the weekend night girls are very entertaining, and actually can dance. Try it out if you want personal attention at the tables. Very close for topless! I agree the beer and soda is ridiculously expensive, but really where isn't it? The crowd is either straight out of Pritchess Honor Rancho or so completely inebriated that once they leave their next stop will be jail. The dancers are always revolting, except for most recently.. The last time in I saw a little platinum blonde (shoulder length) that was absolutely stunning. She said she only worked there (hard to believe) and had only been dancing for a short while. Otherwise it's tuff to justify putting yourself and your vehicle in so much danger for a couple of beers. Therefore, it brings me no pleasure to share with you my thoughts on its decline. The customer base, the club business practice, and the dancers might have contributed to this decline. In the late eighties(the time I started going to this club), the people who visited this club were from the nearby GM auto plant and others large companies in the area. These folks were well-paid and had money to spend. When these companies moved away, their well-pay employees lost their job. This customer base had been replaced by a younger and very different crowd. There have been fights that involved shooting and stabbing here recently. This further drove the more affluent customers away. To make up for lost business, the management now charges more for everything. For example, a glass of water(they don't even have bottled water) costs $3.50. A game of pool costs $1.00. It seems like I am nit-picking, but when compared to, say, the Candy Cat, the difference is appalling. The Candy Cat charges $2.25 for a bottle of water and 50 cents for a game of pool. Furthermore, they no longer have the booth dance(although cheap at $25 for two songs, it was nice way for the dancers to make extra money). These practices bring in more money for the club and less for the dancers. However, dancers are not stupid, moneywise. The beautiful ones left for better clubs. I won't comment on the remaining ones. Without beautiful dancers, you simply don't have a good club. It's so bad that even bartenders quit left and right. I hope this club will return to its former greatness one day. However, with changing times and bad business practices, it's a hope at best. Way too small, the managers are ALL jack asses, instead of getting to the bottem of things they'll falsely accuse girls they don't wanna hire of stealing! They don't even try to hire nice looking girls so they readily accept girls from trailor parks who average only $30.00 a night everywhere else they work. The quality of the dancers is no where what it used to be. Those of you who have seen Bethany, Arleta, Joe, or Brook know what I am talking about. The girls who could leave left long ago. Some of the remaining ones have been dancing for a long time, and their body shows it. The place is not well-kept at all. if you sit close to the AMT machine, you can smell piss coming out of men bathroom sometimes. But after a while, it all smells just like beers. Somehow this place seems perfect for the crown here. Biker dudes, homies, and drunks like to frequent this joint. The best part about this club, I agree with Hockeyrulz, is the bartenders. They are friendly. Some, such as Sabrina, are beautiful. People seem to stare at the bartenders than they do the dancers. Maybe they ought to build a stage in the bar so the bartenders can get some tip for the staring they are get. If you run out strip clubs to go to, give this club a try. I was there on a Tuesday, I think... about 5 PM, the place is small, and most of the room is taken up by 2 pool tables. Its really run down and there wasn't a lot of action. Strange set up, actually... there's a dancing "pit" in the one corner and then the stage with a pole on the other side. Although there were only ever 2 women out on the stage and in the pit, there seemed to be a back room that was like a clown car - strippers kept walking out of there with never an end in sight. Over all, its old, run down, the women are at least completely female and they sell beer. I don't recommend it, although everyone was very friendly.
