I know that on any given visit my time here will either be very, very good, or very very VERY BAD. Today, it was very VERY BAD. I stopped in after a crappy day at work, only to have a crappy day at the SC. There were 6 or 7 dancers here @ 3pm, which was nice......but if they aren't friendly or circulating around, it doesn't matter if there are 6 or 60 of them. A couple of the "new" ones ("giselle" & "pepper" to be exact) walked past me at least 6 or 7 times with not so much as eye contact, much less a smile or any conversation. Great way to NOT sell dances, ladies. I did get to visit with a couple of dancers that I do know, which was nice......but I was in the mood for something new. It wasn't happening here, and it wasn't happening today. Usually when this type of thing happens (and it happens fairly often), I stay away until the unfriendly dancers either leave or switch to nights. Preferably the former. Back to the Rio I go...... It's still pretty much the same girls, and the new ones include some lookers, IMO. The music's always been too loud for me. The problem with the Bare is not that it's changed too much but that it's too much the same. Silver Reign: Downward spiral, yes. Used to be high mileage, but too expensive. Now it's low mileage, and too expensive. You can still do well with the right girl at the right time of day, but that's not going to be helpful to most PLs. Agree, Ecstasy is a fine club, or was the last time I went there, like six years ago, but it's not a serious alternative to the westside clubs unless you live halfway between or like to drive a lot. Bare Elegance LAX: They used to keep good looking girls, but not any more, so so looking and play tooooo loud music after ownership changed. I go there once a while but not enjoy that much. Silver Reign: Not worth to visit. Too pushy and because of that most customers run so they can't keep good looking girl working there, it's a downward spiral. Ecstacy: Still the best in town. Kind of expensive but the girls are friendly, no pushy sales, no loud music! But I really think the pre-paid "cover" that is to be used strictly for lapdances would be a great idea. My suggestion is to make one small change to the VIP party. Keep the free alcohol and buffet, but charge everyone $40 to get in. The $40 would go towards a mandatory lap dance to be purchased sometime during the evening. That would keep out the cheapskates, make the dancers happy, and would be totally fine with customers who are actually there to buy dances. I always buy at least one (usually more) on a typical visit. Wonder how many customers would show up? And would the club make more that way? Maybe it could be marketed as an upscale event, perhaps with a minimal customer and dancer dress code requirements? I love to see the dancers wearing small dresses on the floor. The ladies were all in costume, and when I got there at 7pm there were about 25 dancers already there. That was a nice surprise. By the time I left a couple hours later, there were probably close to 40 girls. All but a couple were smoking hot (at least by my standards). Here's the biggest problem with these kind of events - the leeches that somehow manage to get an invite and basically take over all the seating in the club so that they can chow down and slurp back all of the free food and booze, all while not spending a cent and basically pushing out us paying customers. Here I am, buying tons of dances and tipping the stage, and these parasites are hogging the bar and all the tables without ever actually getting up to do anything other than take a crap so that they can go back to their "saved" seats and start feeding their fat faces again. Who the fuck wants the place clogged with lookie-lou's so that the people spending money can't even find a place to sit? I don't think I'll be attending another one of these "private" parties unless it really IS private. Hey Bare management! How about having a REAL private party only for us spenders?
