Barbary Coast2230 W. Colchester Dr., Anaheim California Girls (Anaheim)(Formerly Tempted, Sandraella's)
Located in a small strip mall, there is some parking in the front, and tons of parking in the back of the club. As you enter, there is a small entrance area where there is a box office. There is no cover charge except during special events or features. As you enter, the bar is in front, an open area to the right (with ATM), and the main club (and stage) are to the left area.
The dancers exit the dressing room right onto the stage. During games, they put the game on the plasma screens around the club. Considering the size of the club, the bar itself is fairly large and there are plenty of stools to sit right at the bar. I like the higher point of view from the bar watching the dancers on stage. The lap dances are $20 per song (bikini) and with some 2 for 1 deals once per hour or so. There are about 20 booths inside the lap dance room. It's pretty tight in there but I doubt that all the booths are ever used simultaneously so just go to an empty area in the room. Remember that this is a topless club so don't come here for crazy action. But for topless, it's pretty good. The VIP area is slightly higher than the regular area and cost $300 with a free bottle of whatever you want. The long couch here is very comfortable. It's not large but it's big enough for a small group for bachelor parties or just ballers who don't want to have to mingle with us regular folk. Be sure to checkout Simone, who's almost always here. She's the Dancer of the Month for October 2006. The management tells me that they are still planning on even more remodeling. All in all, this is a good place to hang out, relax and have a drink, while chit chatting with your favorite dancer. Club Promotional Material: Happy Hour: Monday - Friday, 4pm - 7pm Sunday: $1 hot dogs. Monday: $2 Corona, $1 hot dogs Wednesday: All day/night, all drinks $2 (w/ exception of topshelf) $1500 Amateur dance contest held on the second Thursday of every month at 9pm. Registration for the contest begins at 7pm and is open to all. Contestants must be 21, have a valid state-issued ID, Social Security card, and sign photography consent forms. No house dancers will be permitted in the contest. Z-VIP cards will be accepted at the door (normally $5 entry during special events). They are looking for 2 Z-VIP card holders to be judges.
Flamingo Theatre618 E. Ball Road, Anaheim Medium sized club in mini-mall type area, very close to Disneyland. Inside and outside looks clean and new because it is. There is one large stage in the center of the club seating about 22 on seats that don't move. The lighting system is very good and only beaten by Industrial Strip's lighting system. The bouncers have a little 'tude but that's common at many clubs in LA. The DJ booth, dressing room, bar and bathrooms are all in the back area. ATM machine and candy machines are in a small area at the exit to the right front of the club. It's a little bright compared to TJ's but if you pick the right dancer, mileage can be slightly better than Sahara but YMMV. Couches all around the club for $10 couch dances. There are tables with chairs closer to the stage. The new law in Anaheim requires the dancers to be 6' away when they are nude so this is not the club to come to if you want close up action. Checkout Heather and Sonya, and of course Lydia is a must if you are on ASSC.
Fritz That's Too710 E Katella Ave., Anaheim Update 9/2007: This is a very large club near Disneyland in Anaheim. Ample free parking on premises. There is a $10 cover after 10pm on weekends $7 cover after 6pm, $7 after 5pm from Sunday through Wednesday. The bouncer outside the club will politely hand you off to the inside personnel so that you can be seated by a waitress. There is a large stage with stairs coming down from upstairs where the dressing room is. The upstairs area consists of the DJ, offices, dressing room, stools and couches. You can look down to the bottom floor and the stage from upstairs. There is a large bar to the right side on the first floor as you enter. All the bartenders were female on the nights I have been there. The back area has tables and seating if you want to get cozy and talk with a dancer. The main area has tables with chairs. They have a pretty good menu for a strip club and I have eaten their chicken strips and it was fine. No floor work here. There are plenty of dancers here (40+ on weekend nights) and the quality has gone up since my last visit. On weekend nights, there are 4 dancers on stage simultaneously. Most of the dancers will sit and talk to you for a while. They are relaxed and no hard dance pushing going on. The chair/couch dances are pretty mild by my standards but it can be almost as good as the ones at Fritz. Chair dances at all topless clubs are mild so don't expect anything more. However, the dancers are allowed to dance for each other and they get a little frisky if you get the right ones. The dances downstairs at your table are $10, and the slightly higher mileage ones upstairs are $20. This is a good place to hang out with your buds and drink up while you talk to some dancers.
Fuzzy Bear8595 W. Katella, Stanton Imperial Showgirls, Anaheim2640 W. Woodland Dr., Anaheim The club is in an business section and is a little hard to find during the day but the neon lights show the way at night. This 2 story building used to be a workout gym and looks very clean inside and out. There is ample parking in the business center as well as indoor parking in the first floor of this large building. It looks like the employees and dancers mostly park indoors. As you enter the lobby area, there is a sign at the turnstile that I had not seen at a strip club before, which read, "No pagers or cell phones allowed." I inquired about this sign and the manager told me that this was basically for the protection of the club in case the customer lost any items. The cover is $5 until 6:30pm and $10 until closing. Upon entering, there is a lobby area with a large sound proof room with a pay phone and bathrooms. The men's bathroom felt humid, as if somebody had taken a shower in there. I have to assume that there is a shower in the female bathroom and the vent must be connected. The actual club is upstairs and the walls of the stairs leading to the club is covered with all the features that have displayed their talents at Imperial. At the top of the stairs, the stage room is to the right and the bar is straight ahead. The waitress may seat you or you can seat yourself. As you enter the stage room, the large DJ booth is at the far side of the room and the lap room is to the right. The stage is centered in the room and there are bench type couch seating all around the room. Although there weren't a lot of dancers, the quality of the dancers were
very good. I liked the hiring practice at this club. If you like blonds,
checkout Summer, or Alyssa
(DOM for October 1999), or for a compact brunette, checkout Lexus.
Sahara Theater1210 S. State College "C", Anaheim Hard to find and small but clean, nice looking club inside. The cover is now $5 all the time. Sometimes the guy taking the money at the door will cheat the owner and make you go around the turnstile. Tell him to stuff it or give you half off. As you enter, the small stage is in the center of the room. The bar is at the opposite side. The DJ is to the left and the restrooms are to the right past the bar. On weekends, it gets so crowded, there is no place to sit. Weekdays are better. The couch dances are not the nastiest but they are only $10! How can you complain? They are not allowed to stand up on the couch. The songs are cut short by the D.J. so it's not the bargain that it seems at first. However, lots of good looking girls, day and night. Tropical Lei defectors are all here. Update April 2001:
Taboo Gentlemen's Club (Anaheim)3025 E. La Mesa Ave., Anaheim
This upscale club is located in a business area of Anaheim at the end of a cul-de-sac, which is great for customers who don't want their cars noticed. There is plenty of available parking as well as street parking. Employees park inside the building. The entrance is on the side next to the indoor parking area. There is a
cashier at the entrance who will take your cover ($5 before 6:30pm, $10
after). There is a long hallway to the main part of the club. The large DJ
booth and bar are to the left and the offices and dressing rooms are behind
them. There is a medium rectangular stage in the middle of the room. The
ceiling is raised only above the stage for the lighting and the one tall
pole to go higher than the rest of the club. The restrooms are past the bar. The ambiance of this club is very upscale and elegant. Many years ago,
this would have clearly been the best looking club in LA but the standards
are much higher these days, but it still matches some of the other upscale
clubs. There are small tables with comfortable seating all around the club
as well as bench style seating all around the perimeter of the room. Behind
those seats are bench style lap seating on all sides except where the bar
is. In both of the corners to the far side are VIP lap "booths" which are
much more private than the regular areas.
Taboo (Anaheim) - 2002 T.J.'s Theater10350 Beach Blvd., Stanton Located in a mini-mall next to a fast food place, this club was opened way before Sahara and basically has the same format. There is a small stage in the center of the room (no poles) and couches all around the room. The bar is on the far side to the right and the bathroom is past the bar near the offices and dressing rooms. Just go to the bathroom so you can look around a bit. Compared to Flamingo, the place needs a facelift. Like Sahara, the couch dances are $10. The dancers were allowed to stand-up on the couch (like at Tropical Lei). The quality of the dancers have gone up since my last visit but there are still a lot of tattoos and piercings compared to other clubs. As the name suggests, the customer base is a little rough here. As a matter of fact, the bouncers are worse than the customers. There's always a lot of banger looking dudes outside the club. I'm never sure if they are the club bouncers or people waiting to roll somebody. Don't forget to checkout Christine, (DOM for May 1998) and Trouble (DOM for August 1999) while you are there.
Venetian Gentlemen's Club
1421 N .State College Blvd., Anaheim
This massive 15,000 square feet, 2 story topless club (with full bar and kitchen) is the only club left anywhere in LA/OC that has a sushi bar. Free admission from 11am-6:30pm, excluding Wednesday. Tons of free parking in front or back sides of the club. Bikini Dances are $20 per song, $30 per song (SkyBox), $100 for 3 songs (SkyBox), $180 for 30 minutes (SkyBox) and $300 for one hour (SkyBox). Venus Lounge(Formerly Venus, Fun House) Was same owner as Bare Elegance, now sold to new owner. Now it has been sold again and the name changed from Fun House to Venus. It's an old location but it has been cleaned up alot since my original visit many years ago. As you enter, there is a small chair dance area to the left, a medium sized stage on the left side of the room. Further into the club, the bar is to the right and another room with a small stage in the back area. This area also has a long couch for chair dances and also contains a lot of sitting areas with stools. There is also a separate outside area with chairs for smokers. The bar is a full bar and they have a kitchen and serve great good. During the VIP parties, their food is free and drinks are only $1. There are also large screen and regular TVs for sports viewing as well as a foos ball table and darts. This is one great place to hang out with your drinking buddies and look at the many dancers. There is a good mixture of different types of dancers for every taste.
