Because of the stiff competition is this area, cover
is always only $5 (even on weekends). Drinks are $4.25 each, and they are
pushed like drugs at a concert. During one set (2 short songs), no less
than 3 of the 5 waitresses asked me if I wanted another drink. This is a
place to make sure to keep a full drink next to you at all times.
The club is in the Cathay Bank Plaza mini-mall. The outside looks a
little fancier than your usual mini-mall strip club. Obviously, owned by
the Sahara chain which
also owns Paradise nearby. Enter thru a mini lobby area with TVs then walk
thru a turnstile. The stage is relatively small and is about the same size
as TJ's. There are tables
and couches all around with couches on higher level areas near the walls.
The club is fairly bright for a nude club and the music is LOUD! I
could not find an area to sit where the music was not too loud for my
taste. As you enter, the bathroom is the far right, the bar is far center,
and the DJ is to the left of the bar.
Laps are now $20 for topless dances and $40 for nude. Although, I'm not
positive, I don't think the dancer is allowed to stand up on the couch.
House tipout is $40 and the dancer must sell 8 drinks.
Between the heavy push for drinks, the loud music and low percentage of
good lookers, I was very disappointed with this club.
Sahara (in OC) is one of
my fave clubs but this one in Industry does not cut the mustard or the
lap. No dancer caught my eye here.
